I remember being concerned I would be naked in the shower, starting with junior high school. Long time ago. A shower was required after gym class. I got used to it. Years later at my health club no one seemed to worry about being naked. Come the Internet, did young men worry about being captured on video and displayed in the Cloud? Or are they just not comfortable being ogled and cruised by so many out and proud gay men? I recall a straight friend mentioning there was no way he would set foot in the locker room at our health club. He didn't explain, but I knew why. I didn't read the Atlantic article behind the paywall. I assume these days modesty has become customary. I work out at home now, so have no first hand knowledge. Are the old timers disappointed, how the opportunity to see fresh young naked bodies in the locker room is now a rarity? That's also an assumption. 😉

I plan to purchase a manual press for pomegranate juice. I see a wide range of designs and prices, some costing hundreds. I assume those are for restaurant bars. I need something small and simple for my kitchen. Does anyone have experience pressing pomegranate juice and can recommend a product? I did try the rolling pin method recommended by some home chefs. 👎

My mom made Chef Boyardee pizza, which came in a box. I remember enjoying the tangy sauce and thin crust. Ultimately Mom transitioned to making pizza entirely from scratch. I still love pizza at home, from scratch.❤️

It was the book CMBYN that I connected with. I remember being 17, and pining for a new, young, Italian adonis social studies teacher. I could imagine spending the summer at a villa with him. 🙂 Unlike the book, the movie didn't move me. Yes. To each his own.

I watched Titanic today for the first time. It won 11 Oscars. Yeah, I didn't love it. Call Me By Your Name. Was a smash hit at Sundance. For an indie film, it made a lot of money. I wanted to love it, but I did not love Call Me By Your Name.

I was surprised to hear my sister in law relies on it. Seems illogical.

I declined debit card overdraft coverage on my new checking account. The bank would charge a set fee for an overdraft, where they would cover payment. Otherwise, no other fees are charged. The bank followed up to confirm I still want to decline. I get the sense they must earn a lot of revenue from this service. Now I am questioning my decision. Do people lose spending discipline with this coverage? Do you have this coverage? Would you recommend approving debit card coverage?
