Had an annoying experience at GMan. Requested Jon because of reviews. Massage was actually fantastic. So I’ll give credit there. And it started to get interesting from the jump. I personally prefer actually getting a decent massage and have things progress naturally or at least later. So having something be initiated pretty early was throwing me off. And then he kind of tapped me on the shoulder and took me out of my massage and started requesting tips and also wasn’t really making a ton of sense with what he was asking. I think, maybe, it was about what I was wanting but he was just kind of saying one word questions and I didn’t know how to respond. So I mentioned to start with massage first.  And since I was unclear on what he was asking, it kind of just fell off from there.  And he may have misunderstood what I meant. I ended up not leave happy. BUT the massage was stellar so at least there’s that. So I assume it will be worth it, if you just go in expecting him to ask full details- but only after things start taking off. And it will be about more tips. I know others have great experiences so mine may be a one off. This is definitely a new one for me.

Light pressure, long strokes from your butt to the top of your shoulders, sometimes just rests his hands on your back without applying too much of iso pressure. What crosses the line between massage and “prostitution” to me is not the fact of a blowjob being performed on either party, rather booking  a massage with the provider who is not trained and/or qualified to perform the massage as advertised and if I would still knowingly book the service  with such a provider first and foremost for sexual gratification.  The line is pretty thin and shifting, but if I book a massage then I expect to feel like I’m getting one rather than just a handjob or negotiations of a tip for sexual “extras”.

Be careful with your booking: a friend booked a male masseur but had a lady sent to his room.

I agree. My best experiences have been with legit massage therapists that did not advertise or discuss anything beyond purely therapeutic work that simply escalated and the masseur took control. Sometimes they ask if they can, but the ones that just go for it on a whim are usually the best experiences. 

To get things started wanted to share a few reviews of places I've been in the last month or so:
Tried the new Batman Spa on 14th. Convenient location and expensive. Either owned by the crew at Why Not or someone there took the mobile contacts from there cause I got a $15 off coupon via text, which I used to upgrade to a 90 min. Ended up costing $80+- and I gave a good tip. Had Mike. Younger guy. Prob mid 20s.   Great massage - I'm picky so was actually surprised how skilled it was. Coverered back, shoulders, legs and head. No feet which was a bummer but no big deal. Fun experience. Real massage and VERY relaxing. 
Hit up Why Not at their semi-new location on Bleeker. Used to go there when they were on w4th right off 7th (basement). Had Tony. Middle aged guy. Prob early 40s / late 30s. Decent massage but phoned it in. Prob wouldn't go back. 60 mins was $65+- and I tipped (as always butgave a modest $15 cause wasn't fantastic).

HE for me is simply a release. Most of the time a HJ but have had a masseur initiate a BJ on his own multiple times. Never paid for an upsell unless requested in advance and if it was an upsell, almost always declined.

Recently had a scrub/massage combo in a popular NY spa (so popular they just opened another location in HK within past month). The price was just over 100$ for the total of 90mins. Diego is good with the massage, but 90 minutes was shorted by 20 minutes. Plus upfront he advised a 100% tip was required. At the end when no HE, I asked, and that would be more. No MT, that would be more. Head-spinning up-selling.
