Ahhhhh, Cupids in West Palm Beach. LOTS of fun there. I recall once that they locked the front door so that a Porn Star, Shane Rollins and his buddy could put on a show on stage. WOW. The location in Miami was scorching HOT. A big, inked Brazilian stud , Eddie, picked me up and carried me to the lap dance room. SO many incredible men.😛

Was there tonight (Sat. 12/3) & it was fun. Sawyer from Ft. Lauderdale was back & he, in my opinion, just oozes sexiness. There was a good crowd & the dollars were flying onto the stage (especially when Sawyer was performing). 3 guys on the main stage & 1 on the VIP stage upstairs throughout the night. There were a few dancers I didn't recognize, so that's a good sign that they are increasing their roster. The lineup still isn't like it is at the Ft. Lauderdale location, which has mostly muscle guys. In Tampa, though, it will probably always be different. I know the Ft. Lauderdale club gets quite a few dancers up from Miami, and the south FL population is different from the Tampa Bay area for sure.

One thing I have to say about this club though. I've been going to the gay clubs in Tampa for over 20 years now (and most of those clubs are long gone). I also go to Ft. Lauderdale 3-4 times a year & hit all 3 clubs when I'm there. But Johnsons in Tampa has hands down the friendliest employees of any club I've been to. From the doorman, cashier, to every bartender, table server, DJ, and the dancers, everyone gives a smile & a greeting when I arrive, or "good to see you again" and then wishes me a good night when I'm leaving.  I don't know why that is, but I always feel welcome there. I really hope the business continues to grow for them.

Well I was at Johnson's this week on Tuesday and Wednesday nights.  Like others have said, I go during the week when it is less crowded.  Tuesday was indeed quiet  but there was still a decent selection of dancers.  I was told that a bunch of dancers from Montreal had arrived the prior week but I didn't see any of them on Tuesday.  I ended up hanging out with Eros whom I have known for years from back when he worked at Twist.  A new guy from Seattle was also there...Kurt I believe.  Beautiful muscled guy and only a few tattoos on his creamy white untanned skin.  I didn't spend much time with him as I was with Eros.  Anyway, I had a great time on Tuesday.

Wednesday was also fun but much busier.  It got surprisingly very crowded around 11:00pm....standing room only.  The Canadians were out in force although I only recognized one (Adrian from Stock).  Anyway, there were a lot more dancers and customers than on Tuesday.  Great Brazilian bartender.  I again hung out with Eros (Venezuelan) and Lazaro (Cuban) and we talked in Spanish all night.  It was great fun. 

I was still in Ft. Lauderdale Thursday night but opted to have a quieter evening.  I ate at the little outdoor cafe at The Boardwalk.  I had a few drinks and some chicken wings.  I left at about 9:30pm and only had seen two guys that look like dancers go inside.  I know that Boardwalk gets going later than Johnson's but there was really nothing going on in the main bar when I left. 

In summary, Johnson's seems alive and well in Ft. Lauderdale!

Went last Friday night. Nicely busy. Some really hot dancers of all types. And a couple of HOT bartenders! Enjoyed the upstairs VIP area. No parking issues .... I took Lyft. Matt was there. Enjoyed talking to him and extended my appreciation for him opening the Tampa location. Given how close I live, looking forward to many more visits!

I've only been there once. The place looks great. The dancers are HOT. Since my visit, they have installed the pole on the stage, and I understand that the upstairs VIP area is done. Can't wait to go back for more ... a LOT more!

Parking is pretty tight. But at least there is some. The club in Ft. Lauderdale really doesn't have any parking. Still the place is packed.

We decided to wait until last night, Sunday night to check it out. The bar looks great. We were pleasantly surprised to find a favorite dancer from the FTL club behind the bar. Sawyer looks better and better every time we see him. The other bartender was this Hot Huge Muscle Man with INK. Sawyer tells us that opening night was crazy busy. Gave us a tour before he hit the stage.

The upstairs VIP bar with lap dance rooms is not completely done yet. A bed for the boys to "dance" on looks to be much more erotic than a pole. Entrance fee is $10 in lieu of the entrance fee to the lap dance rooms in FTL. Dancers started to arrive at about 7pm. A mix of a hot twunk boy, big muscle guy that was totally hot and a few more somewhere in between. Living so close to the new club, hope to make frequent visits. SO glad Matt opened another bar. Keep an eye on their Facebook page!

According to their Facebook page, featured this opening weekend will be porn star Jessie Colter. Matt is bringing some of the South Florida boys up and importing a few from Swinging Richards and Montreal. Should be a BLAST.
