I've learned over the past 20 - 30 years that manners and social etiquette are foreign concepts to most younger generations.

I texted StallionRican sometime last year. I was very courteous and told him I was very interested in meeting him. His replies were rather curt and unfriendly. In his ad he said he hosts, when I asked where in RI he was hosting he told me he wasn't - I had to have him over. I told him I couldn't, and that was the end of it. He's updated his photos (but not his age - he's still hanging on to 25 ) and he's back in RI for a while but still says he's hosting. I'm curious because he's my type of guy - I still find him incredibly sexy.

From Nike to Bath & Body Works, reports of 'flash mobs of organized retail thieves' have already hit the stores this holiday season, brazenly walking off with thousands of dollars in merchandise. Most of the items can be sold online or on the streets 'quick and easy' over the next few weeks for low prices. According to one detective in the HPD, a 'Bath & Body Works' in Houston got hit the other day. Five people entered the store, grabbed the B&BW tote bags, filled them all with merchandise and walked out of the store - passing all 'points of retail sale'. The 27 year old 'ring leader' and her 25 year old boyfriend were identified as well as three other women who worked with them. Overall, since June of this year, they struck Houston area B&BW stores 31 times, sometimes hitting the same location twice in one day - totaling over $10,000 in stolen merchandise (mostly three-wick candles and room sprays). The thieves escaped in five cars waiting outside the store. A spokesperson for a Texas taskforce to combat the problem fears more and more brick and mortar stores will be closing in these cities, rather than put up with this increasing criminal activity. (San Francisco has seen many big name department stores close their doors this past year, in which they blamed the 'flash mob organized crime' increase in their stores as a major reason for closing).

Something was said in episode 4 from 'Senator Smith' which gave Hawk's character to be born in 1922, which makes him 31 in the 'past scenes' (which take place in 1953). In the present, it is 1986 - so he's supposed to be 64, though he looks 20 years younger (as does his wife). I think the dialogue was when Smith said he hears questions all the time why 'this handsome young man in my office' is not married and 31 was given as his age. Every time I see Bowman on screen, I see a younger Gregory Harrison - he looks so much like Harrison did in the 80s and 90s. Too bad they didn't cast Harrison to be his father in the one scene they had together.

I finished binging the first four episodes today, and must say this is one of the better streamers out there (and not for the gratuitous gay sex). The stories are intriguing, the acting is impeccable. I'd be shocked if the show - and especially Bailey and Bomer - aren't nominated for Emmys next year. The supporting cast is also outstanding.

I tuned out after about twenty minutes. I couldn't stand the two 'TODAY' hosts - they were horrible. The MACY'S Parade is not what it once was (back in the 70s and 80s) - 'entertaining'.

I was able to read his reviews on Rentmen (via VPN) and all of them were great. I'm curious how much he charges for an hour. Anyone recall ? There weren't any mention of his rates in the reviews.

Canadian actor David Tomlinson seems to have taken all the attention from the series. He's developed quite a following, but there are viewers who have some questions - why was an actor with a gym body and 'shaved pubes' cast as the character from the 1950s ? This is a period drama, and one would be hard pressed to find a guy like that in the 1950s. (Gym bodies and shaved pubes didn't really start until the 1980s). I'm curious about cousin Dasheill's daughter - is she one of those dwarf women from the Baltic state convincing everyone in the family she's a tween when she's really in her 30s ? Is Fellowes getting his ideas from the 'Natalia Grace' series ?

The first three episodes of Season 2 were released on Thursday, and the magic is still there. So far, it's even better than Season 1. Lancashire is wonderful as Child, and David Hyde Pierce never disappoints. Yet Bebe Neuwirth is really stealing the show as 'Avis'. Episode 2 has a guest appearance by Stockard Channing, who is beyond wonderful in her character (but you may have to look twice to recognize the 'new' look of Channing). 4 more episodes over the next 4 Thursdays on MAX.

I believe part of the problem - as pointed out already by many critics - is that Fellowes knew how to write for the place / period of 'Downton Abbey', but he doesn't know how to write for the place / period of 'Gilded Age'. It seems like he doesn't realize there's a world of difference between Manhattan and the English countryside.

So many to choose from, but one of my favorites is Robert Saleh (NY Jets)...

Season 2 began on October 29. Last night's episode was episode 4, and we're at the halfway mark for this season. Anyone watching ? I find it a little better than S1, and I emphasize 'little'. With the exception of a few in the cast, one thing is certain - Broadway actors and actresses don't necessarily transfer well into television.

I certainly can't disagree with you. Which makes me think - the series should have gracefully bowed out at the conclusion of Season 4. Season 5 - and especially Season 6 - has Morgan just relying (a little too heavily) on the tabloid reports of what went on behind 'closed doors'. What started off as a compelling, high-brow drama has now become nothing more than one of the 'E! True Hollywood Stories' where there's just 'reenactments' of what 'possibly / maybe / could have went on'. We all know what went on with the Royals post-Diana's death. No one wants to see further reenactments (in the remaining episodes of the season) of Charles and Camilla marrying, the saga of Kate and William, and especially not Harry and Meghan. We have lived through all that.
