  1. Jean Smart missed a few performances again, earlier this week. Her replacement had to take the stage. Good thing Smart extended her performances for an extra week so she could sit more show out than originally planned.
  2. Once this closes abruptly (all bets are still on Labor Day weekend), I'm curious as to how Miss Porter is going to spin this away from herself and blame the 'white' audience. It's not a question of 'if', it's a question of 'how'. He has a history of this.
  3. True, but let's face it: he came out on the losing end on this one. He needed the extra cash this summer (so he said), and I was a paying customer - if he took it seriously. In the end. I hired a hunky landscaper (as I wanted) , my lawn is landscaped each week, and there's a promise he can help me in the end with 'anything' during the fall - winter months.
  4. And this is where a hot, young, hunky landscaper comes in. Ask him to go shirtless, promise him compensation he'll be happy with, and you're as good as gold. (I prefer Latino men with muscled, hairy chests myself. Facial scruff is also a plus).
  5. I know - let's start in the very recent past, when he was announced as the replacement for CABARET. This is what happened with Porter, which probably cost him a lot of potential audience members... Billy Porter sparks controversy while promoting his ‘Cabaret’ cast: ‘Black people have replaced the Jews’ – The Forward FORWARD.COM One social media influencer accused the actor of minimizing antisemitism.
  6. For those who are watching the show, did you notice during the live 'Blockbuster' (which a contestant has a last chance to take themselves off 'the block'), the camera never showed Mickey 'competing' as the camera was on Riley and Morgan. Hmmm. Then Julie announces the competition was over and Mickey won. Hmmmm. She seemed to have won 'off camera' range - which never happens in this show. Then Riley's evicted. PROOF that production interfered with this show and had Riley removed. No doubt.
  7. I've been looking for this for the past five years. I have a number of colleges in my city - two within walking distance to my house. It's not a lot of cleaning I would want them to do - just the bathroom and kitchen once a week, the bedrooms and living room once a month or so. Rather easy, I'm willing to pay what they ask - just do it nude. I can't find any hot guy offering to do it clothed, never mind nude. It's funny because my area has morphed into a friendly 'gayborhood' over the past decade or so. If these college guys paid attention to their neighborhood they're living in / patronizing (stores and cafes) they'd realize they could make money on the side offering these services (or more).
  8. I should update... I DID hire him, texted him within a week and told him I wanted him to be my landscaper. He was very happy, and we planned what day he would start by doing a 'spring cleanup' - the following Monday (which was around the middle of April). When I came home from work, it was obvious he didn't show up. I texted him that night to ask what happened, and he said he was having 'truck trouble' and he had to drop his truck off to his mechanic. We rescheduled for the following Monday. Once again, he was a 'no show'. I texted him again that night, but he didn't respond until a couple of days later and said 'he forgot'. I responded to him to let him know this didn't seem to be working out for either of us, so I would be looking for another landscaper. He responded with 'OK'. And that was the end of that. I haven't called him for a massage this summer, only because I've cut waaaay back to save money and I was interested in just three guys (so far) who were traveling through my area. As for the landscaper I did hire, he's also from Central America, late 40s, very attractive and a nice body (and he does great work and lives in my neighborhood). He mentioned a few times he is married and has a son in college. However, the other day he was telling me that in the winter he's available for hire to help with 'anything I need help with' and winks. Hmm. I said, 'anything' ? And he smiled and said 'I said anything'. I told him I could come up with a few things and he smiled. I'm wondering if we're on the same page OR if there's a big language barrier. 😂
  9. When I owned my business, I used to go to the International Gift Show in NYC every August to buy for Christmas. It was held at the Javitz Center, and always started around the third week of August from Sat - Wed. I remember one year, JS was 'working' a booth which sold 'adult' calendars, posters and greeting cards of which he was one of the models. His job was to meet and greet buyers coming into the booth and getting them to write up big orders - in other words, flirt with the store owners / buyers by engaging with them and letting us feel his muscles (which were nice). He looked fine in his black speedos and muscled body (he was shorter than I expected) but wasn't too friendly for a 'meet and greet' and to sell his merchandise. He was rather 'out of it' and honestly didn't look well. One of the customers in the booth actually asked him if he was okay, or if he was ill. He responded he was actually 'hung over' from the night before, because he went out with his friends to celebrate his birthday. The other guy asked how old he was and he said he turned 25 (so this had to be 1990?). The other guy then went up very close to him and asked if he could give him a kiss for his birthday and JS said, 'No fuckin' way' and stepped away from him. (I thought that was so funny as the other guy truly came across as a perv). The other guy was mortified (you had to see the look on his face) and said he wasn't buying anything of his - and pranced on out of the booth. The owner overheard most of it, and then called JS to the side to have 'a talk'. (I saw him a few more times at gift shows in January and August and he was fine - friendly enough with everyone).
  10. Thank you for this info everyone. He's in my area this week, and I almost was going to reach out but - I decided to come here first. And presto! he's no longer on my radar due to the info above. I had a massage with a cute guy last summer who was in my area. He offered erotic with mutual touch, and in our messages he said we would both be nude during the appointment. I booked, since that's what I was 'shopping' for. Before the massage started, he took off his shirt but left his boxer shorts on (I always make sure the provider gets fully naked in front of me before the massage starts) - he said he was 'shy' around new clients, and wasn't comfortable being naked with a newbie. WTF? I reminded him of our text exchange and reminded him he knew I was a new client. I told him if he wanted to adjust the appointment now, then we would adjust it to 'therapeutic' and the price would have to reflect that (from $200 to $100). He got over his shyness rather quickly.
  11. I think the topic of available parking should be addressed in personal communication between client and provider, rather than list it as 'amenity' (and I agree with you - no other place to list it on MF). So in situations such as this, it's best for the provider to communicate with the client (and hopefully turn interest into an appointment) and then close with, 'BTW, if you're driving here, there's plenty of metered parking nearby on Gay Street, just a five minute walk to my hotel / residence.' Most likely, the client will respond positively ("Thanks for letting me know!" or "Sounds good!"). IF it's an inconvenience, they will let you know that, too, and not make the appointment - which is much better than the client being taken by surprise and letting you know minutes before the appointment they have to cancel because they can't find FREE parking.
  12. It takes all kinds...
  13. The past week, the concern over Riley and Katharine's relationship had gotten real and gone viral. Viewers - as well as Katharine's family - wanted Riley removed from the show, due to his controlling behavior with Katharine. The producers said they were 'monitoring' the situation. This week, Riley gets put up as a replacement nom when one of the original players had his nom vetoed. BB forums said this was all orchestrated by producers to get rid of Riley without them interfering. Sure enough, out of the blue - Riley's evicted. I don't mind seeing him gone (even though on the live feeds he has supposedly shown a king size dong). Now we're down to three men - only two cute guys (Vince and Keanu). This is turning into a vag fest.
  14. Maybe they're taking some sound business advice from McDonald's these days ? The burger chain announced this week they are dropping the price on most combo meals starting next month to under $10, after inflating their prices 30-50% since the pandemic. After five years of seeing combo sales rapidly decline (people held back spending $12-15 on a McDonald combo meal), they realized going back to pre-pandemic pricing made more sense. So maybe our providers are concluding the same ? Best to get two clients at $150 each than no clients at $300?
  15. Gardening, garden design and landscape architecture are all very different skills and professions from landscaping. I know many talented women who do the first three (landscape architects are a thriving profession in my area for both men and women), but never came across any woman who drives a truck around and mows lawns, prunes shrubs and trees, climbs trees to cut branches, removes overgrown vegetation and shrubs, etc. all which falls under the umbrella of 'landscaper'. I guess it's common to see women do all this in Canada, but not in RI.
  16. And the box office sinks even lower for Billy’s Emcee. $498k. Only Call Me Izzy had a lower gross, and another ticket sale for 'Izzy' could've made 'Cabaret' the lowest grosser. Which begs two questions: How much lower can the box office go before they put this out of its misery ? Do you think City Center is a little nervous about Porter's "LA CAGE" coming up ? He's proved himself to be box office poison, first ruining Encore's 'The Life', and now setting historic losses for CABARET. He needs to go away from the theater.
  17. I started watching 'Wednesday' when it first came out a few years ago, then grew bored with it. It became 'a chore'. I think I still have the last couple of episodes to watch.
  18. To do what, exactly ? Bartend ? Serve dinner ? Sing ? Do Magic acts ?
  19. Why didn't you forget hinting and actually speak up, and politely say, "I appreciate your gestures of moving this into another territory, but today I only want a therapeutic massage. So let's keep it at that, please." If he should feign not understanding, you could spell it out for him - "I'm not sure you're aware, but you keep putting my hand on your crotch. I'm not interested in erotic."
  20. I started another thread about a month ago regarding licensing. The majority of guys I see who give legit massages have years of schooling and plenty of experience giving an excellent massage. However, they admit up front (when asked) that they never got their licenses / renewed their license due to personal financial reasons. So - bottom line - no license is in jeopardy. My advice: Ask your new masseur you find on these sites if they have schooling and are licensed. Most times you will hear yes to schooling but no to license. If schooling matters to you (as it does to me) and licensing doesn't (as it doesn't to me), then you're ok with 'pushing the envelope'.
  21. As a side note, I believe this is the same son who embezzled millions from his mother's chain of 'fried chicken restaurants' which were running for years and then went bankrupt. I think he ended up serving time in jail for it.
  22. Gladys Knight's son Shanga 'broke his silence' the other day, claiming his mother is suffering from dementia, and should not be forced into touring this fall. He claims it's all the doings of her fourth husband, William McDowell, who he accuses of 'elder abuse'. Knight was on tour this past Spring with Chaka Khan, Stephanie Mills and Patti Labelle. She resumes the tour this fall. In all fairness, reports of Knight 'not remembering the lyrics mid-way through a song' and forgetting what song she was about to sing were rampant in the first part of the tour (May - June). There were also reports that Knight left her hotel room to 'go for a walk' one nigh while on tour, and got lost - ended up at another hotel and didn't know why she was there (they got info from her, and called her husband to come and get her). Knight responded to these accusations today. Gladys Knight responds after son accuses her husband of elder abuse - ABC News ABCNEWS.GO.COM Legendary singer Gladys Knight's health is in the spotlight amid a bitter family legal battle.
  23. The increasingly complex Billy Porter “Cabaret” controversy, explained WWW.QUEERTY.COM There's a lot going on here.
  24. The box office continues in its free-fall. All bets are on that it closes by Labor Day. Marisha is not happy about how this is going, according to her social media, and wants everyone to go and see the show, rather than wish it ends prematurely. Sorry Marisha - it's awful, and you can thank Ms. Porter.
