Coming to my area the end of the month. His ad just posted and he really caught my *attention* so to speak. Debating whether I want a massage by him or something else. (His massage rates in his reviews seem more in line with 'deli' services).

Anyone watching 'The Gilded Age' season 3 ? I'm caught up with it, and so far it's dragging for me.
-
Just finished Season 2 of 'Poker Face'. To think, I once loved this show with Season 1. Still don't know what to make of Season 2. The guy who plays FBI agent Luca is really cute, though, so I may stick around if there's Season 3.

'Call Me Izzy' was highly touted as the 'comeback' for actress Jean Smart after a 25 years absence from Broadway. In interviews, Smart said she had been offered numerous shows to return to B'way (including an offer from Sondheim to star in a revival of 'Follies' around 20 years ago) but refused all of them for one reason or another. Yet this show 'called out to her' and couldn't say 'no'. The show went into previews at the end of May, and opened 'the 2025-26 Broadway Season' on June 12 to great fanfare. Advance ticket sales for opening week were encouraging, but not spectacular. It was advertised as a 'limited run' at Studio 54 Theater, opening June 12 and closing August 17... so hurry and get your tickets NOW! (Tickets ranged from $66 - $275). Smart, who did her fair share of press interviews to push this play, got mostly rave reviews for her one-woman performance, but the play itself and the production did not. Most critics found the story depressing and stale (about spousal abuse in the Midwest), and called it better suited for a 'Lifetime TV' movie - not a stage play for a summer / tourist audience. The staging is pretty bleak - consisting of a chair and a toilet (part of the story takes place with Smart sitting on the toilet writing poetry). As for costumes, Smart is in a red flannel shirt and jeans, with a 'dirty looking red wig' on her head. Rumors have suggested this production was financed for $7.5M, but no one can figure out where the money was spent (no music, no orchestra, no cast, no costumes, no stage design). The show runs for 85 minutes with no intermission. After the first week or so, and the reviews and word-of-mouth spread, ticket sales have dropped considerably. At certain performances, the theater has only opened the center orchestra seats and closed off the rest. Often, seating capacity has hovered around 60%. This past week, Smart was out with a 'reported knee injury' since July 8. Her standby Johanna Day took the role, and tickets were marked down to the $20-30 range for orchestra seats. Audience members who attended said there were 'less than 100 people' sitting in the theater. They also said Day was obviously ill - having coughing fits on stage and couldn't deliver her lines. Other times, she forgot her lines and blocking - so they had someone step in at the edge of the stage to feed her lines and directions. On their social media page, the producers said Smart would return on Saturday, July 12. This morning (July 12) the ticket sites say Smart will be out through Wednesday. Looking ahead to ticket sales through this week and beyond, it looks like it's selling at 25% capacity, on average. WILD GUESS but...it looks like the producers / investors/ Smart have negotiated a graceful exit for Smart ('knee injury' sound plausible) and most likely will cut their losses one month in and close the show in a matter of days while Day is still in the production. Smart will be well-removed from the train wreck, Day will be 'blamed' for the poor box office, and the show will shutter. Unless they're really risk takers, convince Smart to return to play to an empty house, and see that this show runs its duration through August 17 (a ridiculous move, but..).

I'm curious where he is at this point. Is he still trying for Paddle UK, or is he happy with the income he has coming in these days with these photos he's posing for ? He hasn't been in the media since late May / early June. -
Watched the premiere episode tonight, and as expected : it was rather underwhelming. Sexiest / best looking guys ? For me it's Vince and Zach. Cowboy Matt has a great ass.

He's in my area for tonight, but I'm already booked with another favorite traveler of mine tonight. Damn it, when it rains, it pours ! Hope he returns here soon.

So male escort Sharay Hayes is now concerned about clients who will compromise his line of work on social media and other public places, and HE decides to be interviewed about this on TMZ???? Me thinks this is nothing more than an advertisement for his services.

They sure can. Block the numbers they are calling from.

Fans were hoping Streisand would score another #1 album with her "Partners 2: The Secret of Life" album, but the album didn't come close. Streisand debuts at #31 on the Billboard Hot 200 Album chart. However, it extends her chart record of having the most Top 40 albums by a female artist since the chart was published in 1956. This is Streisand's 55th album. In a distant second place is Aretha Franklin and Madonna, tied with 26 each. As far as solo artists on the chart, Streisand is firmly in third place, with Elvis and Sinatra tied for first, with 58 albums each. Today's metric of determining a #1 album for the week seems to be as confusing as ever, with so many formats available to consumers. Many believe this is what kept Streisand out of the top 10, if not the top spot itself. If Streisand was to hit #1 with this album, it would continue her streak of having a #1 album in every decade since she started in the 1960s, a feat no one has come close to in music history. Years ago when I owned my business, I was located in our city's 'financial district', so I was surrounded by bankers, lawyers, judges, insurance agents, etc. I was especially attracted to the young professionals my age (20s, 30s) who walked into my store with 'shiny shoes and a well-tailored suit' (there were about a half dozen men's tailor / clothing specialty shops within a block or two - all competing for the same clients, especially 'the new hires' each month). I remember every bank building and office building (as well as every court building) had two things as soon as you walked into their lobby: a newspaper stand, and a shoe-shine. Both were always employed by and older, friendly guy who had inherited the business from a relative. The last time I was down in that area was to visit a friend to have lunch a couple of years ago. The area is a ghost-town (as he said, many firms, banks, etc. merged with each other and moved out of the city to a bigger metro area), the men's clothing shops have been replaced by DD and Starbucks, and in the few lobbies I wandered into, what was once the newsstand and shoe shine is now the ubiquitous 'Smoothie' stand. And the hot younger business guys walking around ? Suits from Kohl's and Target, with Nikes on their feet. Not sexy at all.

Most importantly, choose Rentmen.eu over Rentmen.com. The site has to match up to your location, so if you're choosing 'the Netherlands' or 'Germany' your location is suggesting Europe. (I learned this through the forum here months ago.)

Friendship ? You see 'hiring an escort' as 'having a friendship' ? Damn, that's quite a reach.

"Loyalty Rewards" program for clients ?
Ali Gator replied to Ali Gator's topic in Questions About Hiring
I've engaged with a number of guys over the years - local and travelers - and consider myself a 'regular', and not once has anyone ever offered me a 'loyalty perk'. I've seen other discounts in ads (especially MasseurFinder ads) such as a discount for military, for first responders, for college students with a student ID, as well as general ones such as 'Tuesday mornings' before noon, or 'Gay Pride week : Mon - Thursday before noon'. The discounts are usually 10%, sometimes 15%. Yet these providers never ever advertise a discount to repeat clients (such as 10 or 15% off your third appointment). That's why I think his approach of offering something (not necessarily a discount) is a wise choice with a 'Loyalty program'. An additional 15-30 minutes on my next appointment (after my third visit) goes a long way in my book, compared to offering nothing. -
Providers requiring Client photo to meet!?
Ali Gator replied to jockstrapdaddy's topic in Questions About Hiring
It's called 'a discussion'. -
I thought this was rather interesting, and thought I'd share... This past week, I met up with one of my preferred masseurs who was visiting my area. It's always great catching up with him (third time for me in the past year), as he truly treats what he does as a 'business' not a hobby, always tweaking and toying with different ideas to separate himself from others. He acknowledges it's very competitive these days (especially with the flood of guys coming in from South America), and he can't 'coast' if he wishes to keep doing this for the next few years (he's in his late 30s) and stay successful. He's made a handful of smaller changes so far and they seem to be a step in the right direction. The other night he mentioned he's playing with the idea of starting a 'loyalty rewards' system with clients - a reward after 'x' amount of appointments with him (he's bouncing back and forth between 3 and 5). The reward will probably be either a % off your next appointment, or 'extra time' added on to your appointment at no charge. The client can either 'build up his rewards' or use them as he reaches them. He asked my opinion on all of this. (I should point out this idea came to him after growing frustrated with new clients and second-appointment clients wanting discounts when they book with him. This is a turn-off to him, and then he doesn't even want the client's business). I told him it's a great idea. Every business today (restaurants, airlines, credit cards, supermarkets, drugstores, department stores, car washes, etc.) have built their businesses over the past 25 years on 'loyalty programs and rewards' - why not this industry ? He still needs to do some fine-tuning on it, but I think this will be a success. He needs to keep accurate records (which I know he will), and this will be a hit. What do others think ? Is it time for providers to join the ranks of 'loyalty programs' ?

Is "barely plumper than a pancake" the new "bubble butt"?
Ali Gator replied to viewing ownly's topic in The Lounge
The provider I met a few months ago described himself as 'light hairy' even though there wasn't a single hair to be found below his neck. When I pointed this out, he claimed the hair on his head and the scruff on his face made him 'light hairy'. He's 27. -
Providers requiring Client photo to meet!?
Ali Gator replied to jockstrapdaddy's topic in Questions About Hiring
Exactly my point. And once again, I'll reiterate - we, the consumers, have allowed this to happen over the past 40 years. We have allowed them to monopolize, we have allowed them to mistreat and take advantage of us, and most importantly - we have normalized this 'customer service' behavior. Now we suffer the consequences.
