  1. I've noticed a lot of clients have been commenting that certain providers 'short them on time', whether an escort or masseur. It's happened to me a handful of times. My question is - do you ever speak up and let them know that they have shorted you by 15-20 minutes (or more) ? I always have. When my massage appointment is scheduled for 60 minutes, and I have my happy ending at 35 minutes, I always look at my phone when they say "You're all set" and remind them we have 25 more minutes to my appointment. I then give them a couple of suggestions on what we can do to fill my time - continue with the massage, let me massage them, some muscle worship (I did that last week with a masseur when I had fifteen minutes remaining) or just talk in the nude. I find the provider to always be understanding and accommodating. IF it's an escort session, I tell them we can stay in bed for the remainder of my booked appointment, and 'have fun' with each other - it works. I'm curious if others speak up and point out to the provider that they have more time coming on their appointment (without asking for money taken off the amount owed) ? Or do guys just pay up, get dressed and walk out with more time remaining on the clock ?
  2. If this is true, then both "Jesse Watters" and "Guttfield!" on FOX News should be next to go. Talk about a faux comedians with hateful rhetoric and twisted minds...
  3. Normally based in SC, and traveling to my area in a few weeks. Anyone have anything to share ? I didn't pay any attention to his R-Mass reviews, since they are all peppered with "amazing". When the only word a reviewer can use to describe the masseur is "amazing", I disregard the whole review. My type of guy - hoping someone has spent time with him ! 4. Apparently, according to (questionable) reports, the market has spoken since 2020 when viewers started tuning out and never returned. If the show is losing $40M, and has been since the pandemic (allegedly), then CBS would have canceled it years ago. CBS has been around for over 70 years - they are not a start-up network. They don't keep something in production and continue throwing good money after bad. Network shows are cancelled abruptly when the ratings are low, advertisers pull out and the network starts taking a loss. They don't keep the show running for 5+ years and continue to lose money.
  5. So you are quoting from a 'humor magazine' and believe it's the truth. You might as well use The Onion or Fox as your reliable source. What's more comical is the thinking that sourcing from a 'humor magazine' will put an end to 'delusional conspiracy theories'. Duly noted.
  6. If anyone is looking for a good summer book this year, I highly recommend his 2010 memoir. I was never a big Springfield fan (I enjoyed his music appearances on TV and liked some of his music on the radio), but I picked this book up at the library 15 years ago and couldn't put it down. He gives a good balance of 'spilling the dirt', with raw honesty mixed with sadness and humor. Throughout his life, he has his dog companions by his side and by the time you close the book you'll truly understand 'man's best friend is his dog'.
  7. For those watching, here's this season's official thread ! Hot men alert ! The season kicked off on July 10, some hot guys entered the house (Kenau, Vince, Zach and Zae) as well as past winner Rachel Riley (who is morphing into Debra Messing, either by accident or design). Riley has teamed up the women and has decided to pick off all the hot guys one by one - the first evicted was Zae. parade.com PARADE.COM
  8. A rather recent photo of actor / singer / 80s heart-throb Rick Springfield (who still performs in concert these days). Springfield turns 76 at the end of August. Damn, I'd still do him ! Guy is incredibly sexy (though with the help of hair dye and it looks like plastic surgery on his face). IMG-8163 hosted at ImgBB IBB.CO Image IMG-8163 hosted in ImgBB
  9. Comparing his photos from when he first started in January to his current ones - he looks like he's working out and really developing his chest and arms. I like it !
  10. If this was truly the case, they would have canceled him long ago. No network can sustain a loss of $40M a year for multiple years. The fact that they announce the end of the show within days of his criticism of their lawsuit settlement speaks volumes.

  12. He's in my area - glad I found this. I was going to book him, but now I'm leaning towards 'won't'. Thought it odd that his current ad on MF does not have any reviews. Curious - does anyone know if his erotic massage includes 'mutual touch' and some fun ? Does he have a nice body ? @mt0801 What kind of massage did you hire him for ? Were you both naked with mutual touch ? Thanks everyone.
  13. She had a very troubled life from the day she was born. She was before my time by a few years, but I do remember the endless commercials advertising her album collections on afternoon TV (how dare they interrupt my viewing of 'Bewitched' and 'Gilligan's Island' reruns!) and she would always tour through my area in the summer to headline at our local 'outdoor theater / musical tent' for a week, doing concerts in the 70s and 80s. Our local news reporters would always manage an interview with her to promote her concert.
  14. Let us not forget Colbert was very critical of CBS and their decisions to 'settle' the lawsuit earlier in the week on his show. And then - out of nowhere - CBS pulls the plug on his show. It's a little too coincidental for me. Overall, though, the four big networks have been losing viewers for years, thanks to streaming services and other entertainment options. Morning news shows, daytime programming, evening news, evening programming, and late night talk have all been hemorrhaging viewers and suffering in the ratings. I'm certain if Colbert, at 58, would like to continue in some kind of talk format, there will be a future home for him - perhaps on cable, or his own streamer. Everyone thought it was over for Bill Maher back in 2001, when ABC canceled his late night show for 'controversial remarks' he made, and he found even better success on his HBO show- where he's been for over 20 years.
  15. I know a few licensed (or lapsed-licensed) masseurs in my area. They say you can renew once (for 2 years, I believe) then you need to take 'refresher' classes (which costs more money) before you can renew your license (more money). Rinse and repeat. It's not like renewing your driver's license. It gets expensive, and when it's a slow period and you don't have extra money to spend - you let your license lapse.
  16. In a shocking move, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert is ending in May 2026. “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert will end its historic run in May 2026 at the end of the broadcast season. We consider Stephen Colbert irreplaceable and will retire The Late Show franchise at that time. We are proud that Stephen called CBS home. He and the broadcast will be remembered in the pantheon of greats that graced late night television,” said George Cheeks, Co-CEO Paramount Global and President and Chief Executive Officer, CBS, Amy Reisenbach, President, CBS Entertainment and David Stapf, President, CBS Studios in a statement. Colbert, who announced the news during tonight’s taping, said that he was grateful for giving him the chair. “I’m not being replaced, this is all just going away,” Colbert said. CBS said this was “purely a financial decision against a challenging backdrop in late night”. “It is not related in any way to the show’s performance, content or other matters happening at Paramount,” it added. ‘The Late Show With Stephen Colbert’ Ending Next Year With CBS Retiring Late-Night Franchise DEADLINE.COM In a shocking move, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert is ending in May 2026. “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert will end its historic run in May 2026 at the end of...
  17. When I owned my store in RI, Daly and his wife Amy (at the time) lived nearby and came in often. They were nice enough, though he was a bit aloof. He was in his 'Wings' series at the time, and stunningly good looking. On one occasion, around Christmas, his sister Tyne came in to buy gifts for them (I pointed out what they frequently bought in my store). She was very nice, very pleasant, and was appreciative when I told her I had seen her in 'Gypsy' in 1991, and never saw anything else on B'way that moved me the way she did playing 'Mama Rose'.
  18. IN A MAJOR SHOCK, the producers have extended the run of 'Izzy' to August 24, and say Smart is returning on July 22. This weekend's shows which were to star her 'stand-by' Johanna Day, have been canceled. Let's see if this really happens.
  19. The singer dominated the pop charts in the 50s and 60s with hits like "Pretty Little Baby", "Who's Sorry Now?" and "Where the Boys Are". 20. And in week 2 - Streisand's new album drops from #31 to....................off the Hot 200 Albums Chart. Remember when a Streisand album would last 26-52 weeks on the Hot 200 ? I miss those days.
  21. Jean Smart is scheduled to be out through next Wednesday (at the earliest) while her stand-by Johanna Day continues performances, playing to a house averaging 25%. Last week's box office took in around $200,000 with Day on stage all week. Why the producers have not pulled the plug on this yet is beyond reason. Maybe they were waiting for the equally high-profiled Audra MacDonald bomb 'Gypsy' to drop their shoe, first ?
  22. The highly anticipated musical revival of the 2024-25 season has announced an early closing due to a failing box office. 'GYPSY' starring Tony-nominated Audra MacDonald announced this evening that the show will close on August 17, instead of it's planned October 5 date. When it closes, it will have played 28 previews, 269 regular performances. The show was first announced in January, 2024 with Audra MacDonald playing Mama Rose. The show was to reopen the newly renovated Majestic Theater, which housed 'Phantom of the Opera' for over three decades. It was nominated for five Tonys, including best revival of a musical and best lead actress. The show lost both of those important awards to the revival of 'Sunset Blvd' (which closes this weekend). 'Gypsy' had a strong advance, and got mostly mixed-to-good reviews when it opened in December, 2024. It got off to a rocky start before the new year, being closed due to illness (COVID) among the cast members, losing most of the holiday NY tourists. After that, it was reported that Audra was missing many performances, word of mouth was bad, and the box office dropped steadily by early March, when advanced tickets were already counted for. It was announced in late May that MacDonald would be taking the first week of July off, and Montego Glover would be filling in - which saw the box office hit rock bottom (most of the theater was closed off, and attendance was around 40% each night). It was also announced Montego would be covering every Sunday matinee going forward. As of early this week, ticket sales for the rest of July and August were non-existent. When the show closes, it's expected to lose its entire investment. It will be the shortest revival of GYPSY since the Angela Lansbury revival in 1974-75 (but that short run was planned to be a short run). Even the much criticized Bernadette Peters revival (2003) ran longer.
  23. I was curious in trying him, but I heard mixed things from friends. More negative than positive.
  24. I'm curious how many clients ask their masseur - whether local or traveling - if they are 'licensed', and whether the response of 'no' is a deal-breaker for you ? I must say, the number of masseurs I've encountered over the past 20+ years who actually are licensed is very low. Very, very low. Most have told me they have gotten their schooling and (maybe) once had a license, but have let their license lapse due to a variety of reasons (mostly financial - I've been told it's rather expensive to renew each year or two years by both the local guys and travelers). Many have said having proper training is more important to their clients than having the license, so they've never gone for their license. I'm one of those clients - I'd rather they were familiar with different styles and pressures and how to work on the male body than seeing a framed piece of paper on the wall. And has any traveling masseur ever pulled his license out of his suitcase to show he is licensed from his state when asked ? Not to mention a valid license in one state may not be recognized as valid in your state, since these are 'state' licenses issued (not federal) and each state has their own parameters for licensing via their state health department (as with many other professions) - but that's a whole other topic. In my experiences, they're all very upfront about it. I will ask if they're a 'trained, licensed massage therapist' in my first chat with them and they will tell me they are trained (and how many hours of schooling) but have never taken the next step to get their license. Or they say they trained for 'x' amount of hours with a licensed masseur, or they are self-trained (no formal education) - in both cases, no license. I think we all see more unlicensed masseurs than licensed. I'm curious about others hiring habits - do most guys even ask when hiring off of RentMasseur or MF ? And if the ad describes them as 'LMT', do you ever ask if their license is current ?
