  1. By the way. B12 can be a late complication of gastric bypass surgery and so if there are any readers out there who have had this surgery, be sure to have you blood checked regularly and specifically a B12 level should you develop tingling in the feet or a any signs that your nerves are not functioning as they should.
  2. The effects of B12 deficiency can be pernicious hence the name pernicious anemia. Usually it is rather easy to diagnose when there are the blood manifestations but if the neurologic events happen first, it can be very difficult to diagnose. Thinking of it as a possibility and then a simple blood test are needed but the thinking of it when there are no overt anemia findings or enlargement of the red blood cells, makes it the major obstacle to diagnosis. When you first started mentioning your symptoms I thought perhaps you had Cvid related neurologic issues which are very difficult to overcome. Hopefully with the B12 injections and time, most if not all of the symptoms should abate. So do your therapy and take you injections and keep allowing others to support you and you should be able to walk out of this on the other side.
  3. Nice to see you around these parts. I lost all my phone info including your number. If you still have mine, give a text with yours. It has been quite some time. I did see you were in NYC awhile back but that you were here and gone before I knew you were here.
  4. The lawyers would tell him if his case was likely to produce enough money for them to take it on contingency. Malpractice cases are either settled because it is economically right for both parties to do so irrespective of the actual act, or they go to trial where the vast majority of decisions find in the doctor's favor. Would suggest if you contact a lawyer and if his eyeballs turn into dollar signs as they do in some cartoons, then you likely have a case that is winnable or able to be settled. None of this of course would make your recovery any easier or get your life back any faster. So if you are in the "someone has to pay for my bad outcome" state of mind, then see a malpractice lawyer. If however, you want to know whether there was malpractice, go to a a physician who has expertise in vascular surgery or oncology and ask them to review the case for you for a fee. Your synopsis does not present enough information to determine whether there was negligent malpractice but it does sound as though you had a very rough time and I hope you have a complete recovery.
  5. The baseball playoffs and the football playoffs both reward a weak team who wins a weak division and penalizes a strong team that finishes out of first place in a strong division. Sometimes, the division in baseball is decided by a single victory and in footballl is may decided by tie breakers. I am all for determining which teams make the playoffs based on regular season divisional play, it allows for more excitement for more teams and then I think there should be a seeding of the teams based on records. This year Atlanta already had the advantage of playing in a weak division which gave them more games against the Marlins Nats and the collapsing Mets and then had the home field advantage against the Dodgers who had to win a play in game against the Cardinals who had the second worst record and rightfully should have had to win a play in game. Then the Dodgers had to be be on the road against their division rival who won only a single game more. Defeating the Giants who had the best record while Atlanta the team with the worst record played the Brewers who had finished third. Winning the series between the two best teams, the Dodgers then have to go on the road yet again and play Atlanta. The scheduling for TV, the seeding and the travel needs all gave the Braves an advantage which they did not rightfully win on the field. Weak division, squeaking in with the worst record, 3 and 4 team matchup and then home field advantage. Don't get ne started ib the TV based schedule which drags out the playoffs and allows for these bullpen games due to the gap between games. For me, I would like to see something like the final four playing 3 three game series against one another in a 12 day period. Winner of that series goes on to play the other League. No betting on a single pitcher to carry the team as the Giants did with Baumgartner. No Bullpen resting up with frequent breaks in the schedule. If there is a tie for first, one game playoff, winner take all.
  6. Wedding day It would give me memories of my family and the love of my life and would allow me to recall the most joyous occasion of my life.
  7. Think I could have a helluva night with Ella Vaday.
  8. I have had very unusual and prolonged dreams which I will remember vividly in the morning and throughout the day if I take the time to review them before getting out of bed and especially before opening my eyes. I have had all sorts of unexpected people populate my dreams from childhood acquaintances, to political figures such as Madeline Albright and people to the moment long after their moment has passed such as Judge Lance Ito. My dreams are in color and brightly light usually. I have had all the classic type of dreams erotic, falling, in school and unprepared for a test, unable to find my clothing, erotic and every now and then erotic. My favorite dreams involve my latewife as it is a way of spending time with her again but when I awaken and she is still gone it is melancholy
  9. I had a patient the other day diagnosed with prostate cancer. There is every reason to believe the cancer is curable but there is a reasonable chance that he will not be able to have orgasms or obtain an erection after treatment. I do not wish to discuss the ins and out of this man's diagnosis and treatment plan. Rather, his concerns centers around continuing to have a vital sex life with erections and orgasms. He is 70 years old, he has a vigorous sex life for a man of seventy years, having at least 4 sexual encounters reaching orgasm each week. He states that under the right circumstances, that number may double. He is otherwise healthy and his expected average life expectance is about 15 years. Assuming a mild decrease in orgasm frequency, he says he has not slowed down since 55, that would be about 3000 more orgasms, equivalent to a good week for Benjamin Nicholas. He states he would rather live for 10 years without treatment, a reasonable expectancy, rather than give up 10 years worth of orgasms. So, in theory, he is willing to sacrifice 5 years of life for 10 years worth of orgasms. Realizing your mileage may differ regarding frequency and life expectancy, how much time would you be willing to forego at the end of life in order to continue to have orgasms at a reasonable rate for a man of whichever age you are at the time?
  10. Failing that, write out the scenario, translate it into whichever languages you need and then write down and memorize a few key instructions which may be needed and then go from there. Failing that, perhaps finding only English speakers or diverging from your given complicated role play are the other considerations. Or hire a non judgmental translator to stand by and and fill in the gaps you are unable to fill without further instruction.
  11. It seems that facial expression,. reaction to stimulation and of course all types of body language should be enough but if not just learn a few key phrases and plow ahead or play behind as the case may be.
  12. I usually prefer my meat to have a bone and as for steak, I prefer a bit of grizzle and so like the rare to medium rare New York Strip steak. Also you do not have to worry about flavor if you do anything above medium as the flavor has been just about cooked out it by then.
  13. Lots of interesting men in very boring robes. Need to get them out of those things.
  14. I was listening to Sports talk Radio WFAN and one of the sports pjs started talking about which two men he would have a threeway with. Craig Carton also encouraged the other guys on the show to offer up options. One suggested Tim Tebow and John Stamos while Carton himself went with Tebow and Tom Brady. Had never heard sports guys discuss this in the past. Have to admit it was a bit of a turn on.
  15. I just called him and we arranged for a meeting to be finalized for next week. Sounded nice on the phone. Hope he is fun as he lives very near me and prefers outcalls which is my preference as well.
  16. I just had a long text conversation with him which he initiated. He had to cancel a session with me awhile back and we had not spoken since. He texted just to say hello and to apologize for the prior cancellation. While I had not been expecting or needing an apology for the cancellation, it shows his character that he thought enough to do so. He did say he felt bad and was hesitant to contact me as he though I may be irritated with him. For those who look for the ulterior motive here, I did offer to set up an appointment and he said he would contact me when he was in my area. While I do not think that is the reason he contacted me, if it is, I am fine with it because I was strongly considering contacting for a separate meeting prior to The DC Forum event in January and then one during my visit to DC for the event.
  17. I had a regular back in the day who would come into my house on a Sunday while I was watching football and would suck me off without saying a word and then leave. We had other encounters as well, but this Sunday activity was a favorite.
  18. I believe one can have the excitement and spontaneity in a relationship with wings and the support and security of one with roots. You can even have both of those in the same person but you need to allow yourself to accept both of those aspects in that person and not come to pigeonhole your partner. It also helps if you can be both of those things to them as well. So I disagree with your friend one can have roots and wings with one person. It does take work though.
  19. Very much like an ABBA song. Has a nice beat and easy to remember meaningless lyrics. Yes Sir. I can Boogie. Boogie Boogie all night long.
  20. We stopped dying young. Instead we are giving youthful death to the entire human race.
  21. I recall reading the NY Daily News as a teen. There were two articles placed right next to each other. One was about a Russian pilot who survived a 10000 foot fall from his plane as he landed on a snow covered mountain with a steep angle which allowed the fall to be less damaging. The abutting article was about a NYC woman who fell off her 6 inch platform shoes while walking in the city and stuck her head and died. Have to admit the picture here is astounding.
  22. until

Rouge is a Klimpton and there are several others in the Dupont Circle area
  23. There is no doubt the team owners make money but the local jurisdiction also makes money. If a team leaves, the jurisdiction is left with a large stadium with very little practical use and loses the income the team generated. So with the owners having the upper hand in regard to staying or going, each jurisdiction should carefully determine if a new stadium makes sense for them. That there is corruption and bribery is an unfortunate aspect of every kind of government transaction from dog licenses to garbage collection to a new stadium. The better and more honest a local government, the more likely that the jurisdiction will do well with the deal.
  24. That is how all government deals get made. A new stadium will provide construction jobs and keeping the team there will generate many ancillary jobs. Professional sports teams have leverage in that way and they use it. And should the government elect not to kick in the team is gone. Witness the Oakland now Vegas Raiders and the San Diego now Los Angeles Chargers and the St Louis now Los Angeles Rams. The St Louis now Arizona Cardinals are another recent example. I do not know if the stadium plan in Buffalo is for a solo use football stadium or if it is planned to be a multi sport stadium for Football and baseball or two connected stadium with two separate playing areas. In any case, Buffalo in the winter has wind, snow and the Bills and only one of them are not making people miserable these days.
