  1. Though I did not attend Nebraska nor have I ever been to the state, I root for Nebraska football. Go Huskers. Nice moving to the Big 10, they have been dreadful. Each year for the last 3 years, they have been ranked in the Top 25 or close during the preseason polls and then they either lose or nearly lose to a vastly overmatched small league team. From there, it has been downhill. I hope to see some improvement this year but I need to see it to believe it. Overrated team for me is usually Florida or Florida State.
  2. It was interesting to find this here today as I had been giving this some thought earlier in the day. I would respect a persons choice to be referred to as they, them but I would also expect them to tolerate my not using it or using it intermittently as it is not part of the language I usually speak. My Spanish is quite good but I almost always say el Mano and then correct it. With the they them situation I do find it a bit disquieting as it is not my intention to offend but it does disturb me to have to consciously consider a neutral pronoun when in almost all other circumstances I would use the gendered form easily. Concentrating on not making that error has, on occasion, has led me to misspeak in terms of content. I have to say, I also consider my use of they them a bit of a shameful light, as when I first started sleeping with and going out with men, I would be in social situations in which I did not want to refer to the sex of the person with whom I was going to dinner and would use they/them as a cover. In fact, I would often suspect other men of being gay when I noted those men doing that as well.
  3. I hear masked people and strangely enough I see dead people.
  4. Or consider adopting an older dog. I adopted a rescue who I was told was 5 and turned out to be more like 9. We had three great years and now he is sick and likely to pass soon but he has still been a great companion. This is the same dog that led me not to go to Palm Spring because he was likely to pass any minute. Still he keeps going on and is still a devoted friend. So while it is difficult emotionally to see him declining, it has been great having him around. So heartache but great reward. A classic love story.
  5. After a very stressful weekend, this news brightened my spirits considerably. One more safely homed dog. Now to get the rest of them safe.
  6. I asked on of my escorts if he knew anyone who may be interested. He. placed a nice posting on his Twitter feed. He has about. 12000 followers. So still trying from across the country. He is in LA. IF there are other people here with large twitter followings, perhaps they can post on their site as well. His read something to the effect. 2 year old Rottweiler, pure bred, seeking a good home. Friendly, child and other animal compatible, with basic commands. Was found after he was tossed from a care and is being cared for temporarily. Please lets find this beautiful fellow a forever home.
  7. I have had 13 rescued dogs in the last 25 years. At one time I had 7 dogs, mostly because my wife was an easy touch. If she were alive, she would have me on a plane to take in this guy. However, all those 13 rescues found us. We were not looking to have 7 dogs, they just appeared in our life and our life was enriched by each of them. I know you said you travel and as a result having a dog is not practical. Quite frankly, having a dog is never really practical. I hope that you will keep him as long as necessary to find him a forever home.
  8. Well I have a few friends in LA area and I will send out the word to them about this animal. Networking may help this sweet guy. I know you saw him being dumped buy you can get him checked for a chip. Maybe the dumper is not the owner. Thanks for your work for an animal that needs just one sympathetic dog lover to find him.
  9. There are Rottwieler rescues that will come and get the dog. I live across the country so I am a no but please keep trying to find a no kill shelter or Rottweiler rescue. www.rottrescuela.org. There is a Facebook page and a phone number on the Facebook page. 818-399-67++. Not sure it is okay to print out the whole phone number. but I believe it you want 2 you can figure this out 4 the last two numbers. They seem to be located in Sun Valley which means nothing to me but may mean something to you.
  10. Well I would either cut the donation to cover the fee or just call it a day and look for another worthy institution to accept my money without a charge. I understand there is paperwork and bookkeeping that needs to be covered, but 6.5% fee to make a donation is not something that is going to encourage charitable gifts.
  11. I did binge the first season of The Sinner on your recommendation. Story was interesting though there were some pretty big plot holes. I would recommend it. As to Sex/Life, I skim watched the first season. I do not feel I need to go back and watch the segments I skipped and despite the full frontal, I will probably not go back and watch the second season if there is one. Well, if the husband and the boyfriend get together, that might draw me back. Even the orgy scene was not really compelling.
  12. At the least you knew not to waste time with him. Ikt was not rude just direct and clear. Secondly, if he had decided to forgo his usual standards and give you the privledge of paying for his services, it may well have been a disappointment given his clearly stated preferences. Blunt is temporarily painful but in the long run, it is an attribute of which we could use more.
  13. Watch out for the pedophiles
  14. Gee I thought it was Train erst rainer
  15. As for me, I preferred the husband's round beefy ass to the boyfriend's long dick. In general, thought the husband is better looking, better body and a much hotter ass. Since the husbands package remains unveiled, I assume the boyfriend has a significant advantage there. But all in all, put in the husband column.
  16. Flowers are indeed discouraged due to scent and allergies. As for a gift for those that assisted you, while monetary gifts are generally discouraged, some health care workers such as aides are not making a lot of money. A card with words of thanks is great, especially to those that have made a special effort. And if there happens to be a gift card in there, well these things happen
  17. Your friend from out of town should have been informed of your relationship with the guy you were introducing him to. If he is your fiend, that would have been enough to insure that nothing would happen without at least a mention to you beforehand. The hookup wa just that. He was a guy you had sex with a few times, including wild sex the on the first date. I have always had the philosophy that if you are going to have sex with me when we first meet, you are probably having sex with as many people as you can have sex with on first meeting. So I would have expected nothing more than the sex buddy to try and hit on your friend. I would have expected my friend to be my friend and give me a heads up if he was interested in being another one in the long line of first meet sex partners with your hook up guy. Also, for me, I might have gone the three way route but hey I am a horny fuck who likes drama even after 50.
  18. 5 11 190 is nice and he definitely has a well defined and toned body. Agree with you that muscle god is not quite accurate. Needs about 15 pounds more of muscle and I might consider deifying him.
  19. Difficult to find a C list celebrity who is out and gay and would appear on this horrible show. So it needs to be someone headed to the D list. Carson fits the bill. The new Queer Eye guys are C list but some are headed up the to the B list so they would not do it.
  20. I have ignored people when their posts seem repetitious and designed to incite discord. I will go a time with them on ignore and eventually, if they continue to show up on the forum, I will unblock them and see if things have changed.
  21. Great body but a bit a false advertising there. He states that he is a big muscular dude and lists himself at 5 8 and 170. No doubt he has a hot torso but would not call that big.
  22. I have always hired escorts younger than I. However, they are not young by escort standards. The youngest escort I ever hired was 30 at the time I hired him. Right now I mainly am hiring men in their late 40s and early 50s. They are fit, fun and experienced and though I am only two of those three, a good time is had by all.
  23. This probably does not rise to a level of a crime, though I suppose local ordinances may differ. I do agree that if it were an employee who did this, that punishment would be appropriate, possible to the level of firing.
  24. I was at a Stop and Shop today and overhead they played a commercial about Stop and Shop supporting LGBT...not sure how far down the alphabet they went. As I was shopping, I came across a display with some rainbow knick knacks such as Pride Mini flags, rainbow employee badge holders, rainbow key chain. I reached to get a rainbow drink cozy. I intended to buy one to give to my next guest as a small token and intended to put his fee in the cozy. The cozy I picked out had no price tag and as I searched I noticed that all the cozies were tagless and then on looking further, I noticed that all the items on display did not have a price tag and in fact the tags had been cut off leaving only that annoying plastic item that holds the tag in place. The display was right next to the service desk and the service person at the store was helpful and she seemed honestly annoyed at the situation. When I said that it looked to have been done on purpose, she just sighed and said "of course they did" She then offered to get me the price and get it to me before I checked out. I told her to get the price pf each item as I intended to buy some of each. She said she would and that she would have the tags reaffixed to each item. So now I have a bunch of Gay Pride Kitsch.
