I think it is less of a problem if they are hard to get hold of, as long as the are hard when I get a hold on them.

How long will THE CONNERS last?
+ purplekow replied to samhexum's topic in TV and Streaming services
While she was always relatable, her acting skills were minimal and so from an artistic point of view, hers is an addition by subtraction. -
Are you are saying that remarks made in a public forum by a public person which potentially impacts her employers in a negative way, only should have consequences once the effect it known, so it should be delayed and tenative? Or are you saying she long ago passed the point of public decency in her posting and that this was very late in coming? It seems if it is the first, would you ever expect employers to hold employees to a standard of behavior which does not negatively impact the company directly but which is offensive to the sensibilities of a large portion of their potential clients? If if is the second, you should be applauding the ABC exces for finally waking up. In either case, hopefully Roseanne has finally learned the lesson that the late anorexic matriarch of the Republican Nancy Reagan preached, "Just say No to Drugs,"

Hey Mike, if you have some time to kill, perhaps we can get dinner or drinks or something. Have fun in the big city.

I am not as indecisive as Chidi. Is different I guess than I am more decisive than Chidi. But do they both mean I am not as indecisive than Chidi.

More frequently being asked for my picture and tiered pricing for VGL
+ purplekow replied to Wolfer's topic in The Deli
I like muscular men. I do not hire thin men, twinks, sticks, bois. etc. I do not exhibit this preference in other aspects of my life. I see no reason why having a "type" and that includes racial preferences makes one a racist. Who you want in your bed has little to do with how you treat people out of it. -
Decided to go with the double negative. interesting choice.

While killing a character off in a comedy is difficult, it is hard to imagine them killing off a child. I cannot recall a comedy killing off a child, usually if the actor is to be dismissed, they send the kid off to camp or college. Or in the case of Happy Days' Chuck, he walks out the door and is barely mentioned again. Not much funny about that. Killing off a character such as DiDi, Shelley Long, or Phil's dad, allows for some pathos without the drag of the death pulling down the comedy. When they killed off Phil's mom a few years ago, they used it as a subplot for his dad starting to date again at his mother's bequest. Killing off Didi once again would allow some pathos. Killing off Ed O'Neil near the end and having the finale reveal that the show was Ed O'Neil reflecting back on his life, would be possible. They do break the fourth wall frequently in this show and that would also give an explanation for that.

Basically it is 13 reasons why with adults in Boston. I enjoyed the first two episodes and tonight's third already has me thinking they have run out of ideas I will be watching for a bit more but I went from a fan to a meh

Well I guess if a flying squirrel is not allowed, a moose would be out of the question.

Ultimately, if a guy has a well written ad which exhibits a great sense of humor or a sensuality that is compatible with my own, then I am a go. When I first started hiring, I looked through 500 ads before deciding on 3 who met my criteria and turned me on. Now, I would likely find more than 100 desirable men in 500 ads. Great sex is more a meeting of the minds than the bodies, though a great body doesn't hurt.

It is hard to say who is the bigger asshole here, the escort for saying it or you for repeating it. I go with you for repeating it. Why don't you post a poll and see. -
Will You Watch The New "Murphy Brown"?
+ purplekow replied to + Avalon's topic in TV and Streaming services
This show is catering to people who still watch network TV at the appointed hour and who remember Murphy Brown fondly. Murphy Brown was never as popular as Roseanne and considering the demographics of the target groups, less than Roseanne ratings are to be expected. I believe when the WH itself is so outrageous, making the fictional antics going on in there even more outrageous is tough. -

Any escort or any provider may institute a pricing schedule based on age. Blowback should be expected. If they do not care about the blowback by all means continue. Your examples were hardly equivalent. 55+ Communities are not less expensive in general but they are designed for seniors. I have never seen a senior menu though I have heard of an early bird special which caters to seniors during the non peak hours in order to try to increase business from a group that might not otherwise be going out to dinner at 4PM. I suppose for $40 bucks for teenagers, you might increase business from a group which does not usually hire but then again they would be out looking for the ad so that already shows at least a passing interest. -

I am enjoying season 3 and I am curious where this will lead. I am sure that it will in the end lead back to the bad place at least for a time. They did take out some of the philosophic aspects of the show, but perhaps they will reintroduce them.

i do not recall this clue in the Sunday crossword. Saturday's puzzle is yet to be done though.

Just to complete the story. I needed to take Bonehead to the hospital so that cremation could be done. His weight was too much for me to manage. I did get him onto a rug and was able to pull him through my house and out the front door to my car, but then, sweaty, hearty racing and with a tear stained face, I could not get him into the car. I went to a neighbor but only the eighty year matriarch was home. I called the police and was filled with relief that they would send some officers to help. Within ten minutes they were there asking what I needed. When I showed them the dog and explained about needing to get him in the car, they both said they were allergic to dogs and did not want to risk a medical situation. One of them finally agreed to help when I managed to get a board under him and all he had to do was lift one end of the board. I appreciated the help but doesn't it seem a bit odd that the police would send two dog allergic officers to help get a dog in a car? My guess is that neither was allergic and it was only after I had to take the blanket off Bonehead and they actually saw the job and the earthly remains that they both were looking for a way out.
