I do not know why I find this response so funny. I hope you decide to venture out it is great fun and there are just so many weekends that we have, but from the sounds of that tune you seem to be dancing around a no. So forget about definitely seriously looking into trying to attend and instead attend. Jump in, the water is fine and depending on where you stay, clothing optional.

Actually i was thinking about this on the way home today when I heard another Cher song on the radio. He did a magnificent job and I believe you can see Cher wiping away a tear. Who could blame her?

Once the basketball game goes well, consider bringing them to Palm Springs LOL

Yeah snooping into other people's lives without their permission is always a temptation that should be denied. If you do not feel safe, do not hire him. Who you going to believe. his facebook page or your personal experience with this man? I would trust myself and say nothing about the social media, but my insight into people has usually led me down the right path.

There is a fictionalized version with strong historical accuracy detailing Mary Queen of Scots by Margaret George. She also wrote a rather compelling novel, the Autobiography of Henry VIII which is also a page turner.

Queen Mary (Bloody Mary) could have brought Queen Mary of Scotland, her cousin, to England to assume the throne upon her death. That would have kept the Catholic monarchy line which Mary wanted and prevented her half-sister Elizabeth from assuming the throne which Catholics felt did not belong to the protestant bastard. Of course Mary of England had assumed the throne from her Protestant Brother Edward, who by the standards that had named Elizabeth a bastard, should have named him a bastard as well. In any case, Edward's will and supporters tried to name Mary illegitimate and named his cousin Lady Jane Grey as rightful queen. Before her coronation, Lady Grey's support weakened as Mary's increased and Jane was out and imprisoned and Mary was in. Turn about is fair play and Elizabeth eventually got the throne and Mary of Scotland got the prison and then the axe as the Protestants held sway. Mary of Scotland perhaps got the last laugh, though it would have been a ghostly laugh, when her son James I of England, James VI of Scotland assumed the throne of both countries after the death of first his mother, a woman he did not know while he was an adult, and then Elizabeth. It seems fairly well documented that Elizabeth was tempted to meet Mary her cousin but was advised not to do so and never did. She eventually signed her death warrant.

A direct invitation from the host. How can you turn that down?

What is he having for lunch? If it is a chicken sandwich there may be some sort of telepathic chicken connection.

It never really seemed that this story would go any other way, at least to us here on the forum. I imagined you considered just about every way it could go and so I only can imagine your trepidation at the onset and your relief at the end. I am glad that the conversation started with a confirmation of your love for their mother. That seems to be a critical factor to me. In any case, this is only the end of the beginning, Next, the next chapter or your life and hopefully as uplifting an outcome. By the way....DC meeting.....Friday at the IML. Come for a drink, stay for the entertainment.

Since It's The Season-When Did You Learn The Awful Truth?
+ purplekow replied to + Gar1eth's topic in The Lounge
In any case, isn't that the biggest lie anyone can tell, that they will always be truthful with you? Believe that one and I have a bridge for sale. -
There are so many factors. Is this a first time still birth or has this happened before? Did the couple have trouble getting pregnant? How is his wife handling it? At 24 weeks, some fetuses can survive. I think offering condolences and waiting for him to return in his own good time is the respectful thing to do. After my wife's death, I returned to work in 4 days. The house seemed so empty and mournful. Work was not much better but there were other people and distractions and ultimately I was able to get the condolences period of the grieving period out of the way. For me, that was the most difficult. I needed to grieve but I did not necessarily want to share my grief so condolences, while appreciated, kept the unpleasant memories recurring and blocked the joyous ones from becomings the prominent ones. Perhaps your colleague feels likewise.

Calendars such as this make me think perhaps I am not attracted to men. 47 pictures and only two that move the dial at all, Intellectually I know they are extraordinarily good looking men. However, they do not seem to move my testosterone level enough to get a stirring in the groin. Perhaps they are a bit too cutesy and the guys a bit too clean cut.

If you like largely endowed body builder tops, Vin Marco goes to Palm Springs as needed. He lives about 45 minutes away.

I remember this as a great human interest story in the NYC area when it first happened. Wonder if they are close now.

So then you are saying that when he tweeted the he was alone, that was a lie. Wow, I got my Christmas wish of having you admit you are working for a liar. There is a god!!!!
-
I pity your boss, tweeting that he is waiting all alone in a big house. Has he read Dickens or does he just prefer to live it. In any case, Merry Christmas to each of you, and yes even to mr trump. One hopes three ghosts (actually four) ghosts visit him and let him learn the meaning of Christmas.

All this criticism and here is a man with handsome, sexy intelligent and young lover. He must be doing something right, or at least better than I am. Keep honesty in your relationship. Doubt enters into every relationship you need to discuss it before it overwhelms you. Enjoy yourself and him whether it lasts years or as my relationships with such men do, for an hour at a time. Merry Christmas to you, Feliz Navidad to him. Best of luck to both of you.

Well, this is a nice problem to have, but it is a problem. I think it may be time to clear the air. Tell him you do indeed objectify him because he is beautiful and sexy and you are very attracted to him. I would then make it clear that if that were all there were to it, you would enjoy the ride and see where it goes. However, I would tell him honestly that there is more to it and as a result you want to treat him in the manner with which he is the most comfortable. Tell him if he wants you not to tell him how beautiful he is, you will respect that because you respect him, but you will continue to think it and on occasion it may just slip out that to you he is physically ideal I would then remind him that he is kind, loving, intelligent, sensitive, respectful, patient, considerate and funny and oh by the way hot as hell.

Ever Wondered What Happened to the Characters of Love Actually?
+ purplekow replied to LoveNDino's topic in Movies
I have recently become much more sentimental and Love Actually is now much more enjoyable. This little film which revisits some of the characters is quite fun. I would not mind a More Love Actually follow up. Sad that the manager died but he was a big man and I guess he had a big heart attack. -
Well I hate to disagree with Azdr but I will say that some dancers will go further than others and on a few occasions for the price of a few lap dances I was permitted to fondle and suck and was fondled and sucked in return. Going by the strict rules of the facility, such activity should not be happening, but if not done too obviously, one can get fairly far. If one of the bouncers notices something they will come over and inform you that you have gone too far. Of course, on one occasion in Palm Springs I was escorted out of the back room as was the dancer. At the start of the private dance, I pushed him up again the wall, held his hands over his head and did some grinding. He responded by pushing me down on a chair and grinding quite aggressively and then attempted to pick me up. Since you know my physique, I am sure you figured out that his attempt at the lift was not totally successful and we crashed down onto the chair, breaking the chair. That is when we were advised to leave. So you do not have to be as polite as Azdr suggests, but there are limits, in this case I believe the limit was 275 pounds.

That should correct to WW! which of course was not known by that name until WWII

Nick of the David team won though John was on the jury and he looks like he is a winner to me

Greg, will miss seeing you in DC, though there is still time to change your mind.

Amazing technical achievement. Just the trailer was emotionally moving. I am not sure about withstanding the emotional impact of the whole film.
