  2. Spoiler from this episode: Yes Dany seems to have gone over the edge, shocking Tyrein and Jon by burning the place to the ground rather than accepting the surrender. She is her father's daughter it seems and now she will have to be killed, Little Margaret who reported that she has not eaten to Varys might do her in with some poison in the food. That would be a nice murder from the grave. So it seems only Sansa and Varys had enough insight to see that she was no better than the other tyrants. Not sure Jamie and Cersei are dead. The prophesy was that a younger brother would choke Cersei to death and that went unmet if they are crushed. The matter of whether or not she was pregnant also remains unresolved. So do not count them out yet. Tyrein has lost all insight it seems and Dany should execute him for releasing Jamie. Dany might also go after Sansa as she sees Sansa as a threat. That might be what incites her death. I agree, the battle scene was unnecessarily long and repetitive. We get it, buildings are burning and people are burning, getting crushed and getting stabbed. The point did not have to be made again and again considering the other unresolved issues. As the preview was very short, I am hoping that the last episodes is not just Dany and Jon and the remnants of the Red Keep. Arya riding off on a white horse probably plays into the mythology but the only connection I see is that Dany was given a white horse by Khal Draga as a wedding gift and so it may have harkened back to show Arya still has her principles intact while Dany has lost hers,
  3. Best to hire for a three way for 2 hours. I would not pay an additional fee for either of the escorts above their hourly rate, but it would be discussed and settled before.
  4. Are you sure that is not a river cruise ship in somewhere such as Prague?
  5. Yesterday was the inaugural flight of an Air Singapore route from Neward to Singapore non-stop. The plane takes the polar route and it takes 19 hours, The first flight actually arrived about 2 hours early due to favorable winds. Any takers on this? I think Mr. Baldwin might be one candidate as he travels to the Orient frequently. By the way 68 seats Cost about 4000 dollars each way.
  6. I do not think there is cheating going on like with the 50's game show scandals, but there are certain skills that are needed to play Jeopardy on TV which can only be honed on the air. Buzzer timing. Coolness of thought when in front of a live TV audience. The ability to select first as the champion, All major advantages and he has used them all.
  7. He is a very smart player and rarely misses a question. However, there is something about him that does not sit well with me and I keep rooting for him to lose. In any case, with his winnings already, he will be back for all sorts of Jeopardy special tournaments. Ken Jennings I found equally unappealing and he keeps showing up in the tournaments. However, when he is in those tourneys he seems more beatable. I think both of these contestants have excellent timing with the buzzer and as a result, the longer they are on the show, the more skilled they become with the timing, adding to their advantage.
  8. Would you tell him to push the pointy end in?
  9. Arya could be his hand.
  10. I think Arya will advance her list killing the Mountain after the Mountain kills the Hound. I do not think Arya will kill Cersei. I think Jamie will kill her to save Tyrion. I also think Danearys will be killed by Varys and John Snow will go back to the North, leaving Gendry Baratheon as the new occupant of the Iron Throne.
  11. Toll booth. "oh I am so sorry hunky toll taker, I do not have any cash. Is there anything I can do to get you to raise that thing?"
  12. The NYPost and opines in the same sentence. Who would have opined it?
  13. I was also considering Santiago after hearing great things about it, though I do treat the Palm Springs weekend as an opportunity to get a bit sleazy and Canyon Club has been great in providing just the right amount of convenience, value and sleaziness.
  14. Which is worse no room at the inn or no in at the room?
  15. I recently started using Netflix and have binged these three shows. Special and Bonding are 15 minute episodes and there are only 8 episodes in each and After Life has 7 half hour shows. Special is about a gay twenty something with cerebral palsy. Pretty funny. Some hot guys shirtless and a main character who is relatable to anyone who has felt like an outsider in the gay community or in life in general. Definitely worth the watch though the acting is a bit stilted. Bonding is about an awkward young gay man who comes to New York and starts working as a dominatrix assistant to his high school friend and girl who took his virginity. This is a very sex positive show and puts a human face on sex workers and it is definitely funny and the characters are appealing. Also some hot shirtless men After Life is a Ricky Gervais show about a man whose wife dies and who decides that as he really doesn't want to live anymore, except he has to take care of his dog. Since he no longer cares about life, he has decided he can be a general jerk to those around him but ultimately, the innate goodness of his character allows him to slowly move from asshole to curmudgeon to something else. It is a show about coping with loss. There is a sex worker character who is also empathetically presented. I would recommend the first two wholeheartedly and the third also gets my recommendation though I think it may have resonated with me more than it may resonate with the average viewed.
  16. I have been a fan of American Idol, but this year, the singers are really talented and it is difficult to watch any one of them leave. I do agree that Jeremiah has a chance to take it all.
  17. Speaking of Game of Thrones, tonight's episodes was subdued, thoughtful and moving. This was one of the most cerebral and melancholy of all the episodes of GOT. I expect next week to be just about non stop action and battle, but this calm before the storm allowed closure to so many previous interactions and set the stage well for the next episode which undoubtedly will be the final episode for many of these characters.
  18. Yes Rex Parker Solves the NYT Crossword is a nice blog and it does give the answers the same day. so if there are one or two letters which you would like to check, you can. If you just need a hint, you can ask someone else to look at the finished puzzle and then ask them for a clue. That is a way to move further into the week. I almost always finish the puzzle, but sometimes it is not until days later. I leave the unfinished ones in the BR and take a look at them when I go in.
  19. I have been doing NYT Crosswords for years. I only have a weekend subscription to the paper so I only do the Friday Saturday Sunday puzzles and if I run across a paper, I will do another day. While in Palm Springs, I did a Monday puzzle and though I found it easy, it was still fun. Gar1eth, keep plugging away and if you need a hint, I suggest putting the puzzle down and coming back to it a few hours later. It is amazing what a fresh set of eyes does to the puzzle.
  20. The length of the vacation, the extent of my budget and the number of tempting escorts alters that number. A long weekend may include a long encounter if there is a long list of long dicked men for whom I long,
  21. I understand that even when your brain is dead, you can still be president of the United States.
  22. Let me be the first to Thank Oliver for planning for next year. i am sure that planning began before the last devil egg was eaten and the last sausage swallowed. Oliver, I thank you again for this year and thank you in anticipation of next year. Epigonos, this is the first time I got to sample a deviled egg as every other year they were gone before I arrived. They were delicious, I thank you but the people on flight 415 to Newark curse your name.
  23. Once again, we cannot offer enough thanks to Oliver for offering his hospitality and good food and excellent little niches for scratching itches. He is truly a force of nature and one of the horniest men around.
  24. I did put in a tentative reservation at Canyon Club. For me, my catchphrase for this particular weekend is "it is easy to be Sleazy" and for me nothing says Easy Sleazy On Your Kneezies than Canyon Club. So for me, I forget about the accommodations and go for those who will accommodate. I do not know if any of the other hotels can match Canyon Club in that category.
  25. Arriana Grande and Weezer are not U2 and Springsteen, for me anyway.
