It sounds like you could write some great posts for the True Travel Stories thread, or whatever it is called.  The most exciting thing to happen to me on a cruise has been ziplining... lol.

I’m 52, and I’ve being going grey/silver since I was a teenager. That’s always given me at least the visual appearance of looking older. My first experiences were with guys my age, or a bit older. I was never hung up on age - it has always been about the attributes for me. If a gent tics my boxes, his age isn’t an issue.
I will say that in this hobby, the vast majority of gents I’ve engaged have been younger than me in the say 25 to 45 bracket. I’m sure part of that, (the younger ones), is down to them reminding me of someone from my past I lusted over from afar lol 
The youngest gent I engaged from this hobby was a 20 yo in London, the oldest was a 58 yo in NYC. Both were many years ago, both ticked my boxes, and both were thoroughly enjoyable. 
As far as the whole “daddy” thing goes - I remember the first time a guy called me that mid-congress. It was a Greek fellow I was dating, only about 8 years younger, getting his doctorate in physical therapy. Thickly muscled, hairy, olive complexion, and as I remember, the softest skin. He was a bit shorter than me at 5’7”, but we made it work. He was the first to call me “daddy” - and I was mortified! “Does he think I’m really old enough to be his dad? I’m only 34!” 😂 But in the intervening decades, I’ve more or less embraced being looked at, and referred to as a daddy. As @HotWhiteThirties noted, daddies are in vogue, so I’m finally on trend!
I really don’t think there’s anything as “too old” at least in this aspect of life (in others, yes). If the captain has a sea worthy vessel, sail it! 

I tip my hat to all you fellows 10, 20, 30 years older that are still active, and enjoying this aspect of life. I hope to follow in your footsteps, knock wood! 

At the end of the day, each of us like what we like - both in this hobby, and IRL. You like twink, you like muscle; you like smooth, you like bear; you like shorter, you like taller; you like preppy white guys, you like other ethnic guys; you like older, you like younger; ad infinitum. Like what you like, and just enjoy it! As my dear old Nan used to remark, life is too hard, and too short to not be happy. I try to live my life with this as my guide. No judgments, no second guessing, no regrets.

I agree with you, and knowing what prompted Annie Proulx to write the story, and that she gave the thumbs up to the film because Larry McMurtry was going to write the screenplay might cause anyone to think twice before poo pooing the film as cliche.  

And then there's Ang Lee's direction.

I concur with the favorable reviews of arturo. He was one of the first masseurs for me when he was in Palm Springs. I didn’t expect any extras but the husky muscular Spaniard unilaterrally offered an extra. I’m average looking but fit, so if i get extras, you should too!

Another point I would make is that while there are no stats to support it, I think the fee paying clients of Rentmen probably hire more providers on RM than non premium members. As such they are in a better position to make comparisons and offer better assessments in their reviews.
One thing I discount is reviews by clients who are inexperienced at hiring.

As a consumer I will always look at the reviewers and see what type of guys they hire. And if they are the type of men I would consider. Often you will see reviews from members who Are obviously fake. Eg No details about the reviewer?  I have had luck getting feedback from prior clients about 50% of the time. Guys who respond are pretty truthful in my experience.

I returned to Barcelona, Spain, and visited Sauna Thermas again. Even though I was pleased during my prior visits, the place, last night, was better than I ever found it.
 
The selection of rent boys is beyond description. The ratio of clients to rent boys was about four to one last night. When I return today, the ratio might be different but I suspect the turn out to be good.
 
With a few exceptions, there was a larger ratio of exceptionally good looking rent boys than usual.
 
Even though, last night, most of the rent boys were Brazilian and Cuba and Colombian, many were from Eastern Europe. Therefore, at Sauna Thermas, there is something to please just about anyone.
 
Even though I tuly enjoy the Brazilian saunas and their offerings, there is no doubt that Barcelona is better, in many ways.
 
For those who have given up on Brazil, at this sauna you will find dozens of Brazilian rent boys.
 
The prices at Sauna Thermas for an evening, including a visit with a rent boy, are cheaper than in Brazil, factoring in entrance and facility costs and all.
 
I previously reported that the sauna was remodeled a couple of years ago. Thus, the facilities are modern, clean and pleasant.

Each situation is different. Every guy is different. 

I saw him a year ago and can say he looks amazing. Not sure what his secret is but this guy does not seem to age. Amazing bottom and overall beautiful body. 

He has a real day job so may want to cut him a little slack. 

I want two of those please :)
