I agree with MarkNY with walls that go all the way to ceiling and doors, in addition a quiet room with an appropriate temperature.  The two worse things in my book: don't solicit or bargain for tips and absolutely don't cut the session short.  That drives my business elsewhere permanently. 

I had a sesh with Alven at TSMS yesterday and he is looking pretty ripped these days. Still thin/trim but his arms have gotten more jacked since last I saw him. His massage is one of the best in the city for me

Speaking of Alpha, it's been a while since I've stopped by there after a few unpleasant visits. But my last visit this week with Angel / Angelo (he's Italian from outside Milan) was exactly what I needed. A different guy with arm tats - Spanish maybe? (didn't get his name) cashed me out and I'm definitely going to stop by again. Looks like they spruced up their roster from the days of Bert. Although I'll always have great memories of Adrian there. Where did he end up? Anyone know?

And did you use protection...?

Finally got to see Alven yesterday at TSMS. Good technique. He started off very strong and had to ask him to pull it back a bit. The rest of the massage went well. Somewhat limited english but a nice guy and accommodating. Would have him again. Alven and Adam are similar in certain ways. 😉. 

Does anyone know where Adrian went? And if he’s even still doing massages? Always loved going to Alpha and getting a massage from him.

When I saw him a couple of years ago for massage, he looked like his pics on MF.  If you're thinking of meeting him because of his pics on rentmen, I'd ask for some facetime or some other way to be sure they're current and not out of date.

I always opt for the table shower.  I enjoy it and I like knowing I'm clean. I'd say it's about 15 minutes. 
They offer a shower or hot towels after the massage. Shower is self serve. I take advantage of this as well. 

I should specify that I often go for the table shower first, which is never a massage.
Then in the second half I often cut short the massage because the guy is just too sexy for me to keep my hands off him, and since they sometimes let the session  go in that direction, well, I really don’t know if they are good masseurs or not. 

That is how you should interpret when I say I enjoyed my time at a spa.

Just back from TopMen on my second visit.  Max, my first, was as cute, playful, and gave a fine, adequate massage.  This time, I told the solicitous front desk guy that I had tried Max and would have him again or try someone else as he had proposed on my first visit.  Got Scott.  In short, just avoid.  Does an admirable hand and foot massage but the hour ends with you never turning over, and he never goes above your inner knee.  Barely touches your glutes.  I don't know where they found him or where he thinks he is working.  

I made an appt at Top Man spa last Friday witha guy named "Malik" according to a Chinese guy on the phone. When I got there the guy's actual name was actually "Norik". I had to pause because I remembered a guy with the same name at SMS a couple of years ago which provided a lackluster massage and uneventful finish. I pressed on regardless to give it a chance. I'm glad I did! The deep tissue was so relaxing that I was snoring (briefly) at one point; and the ending was explosive! Mutual satisfaction delivered. I may have to visit this spa again....
