FewBricksShy got a reaction from + Charlie in New Rentmen Site Design
What do you think? Looks like an attempt to be appy to me. I will say I appreciate seeing the date when pictures were uploaded though. I came to realize one of the guys in my buddy list I want to hire eventually hasn’t updated a photo since 2018. A lot has happened in the world since 2018…

FewBricksShy got a reaction from + bashful in Odd Level Of Demand
The cost of hiring has increased at a time when a dollar doesn’t go as far. Pleasure goods like escorts are going to see a decrease in demand, even without increased prices for services. With a decrease in demand generally and an increase in price, I can totally understand that the client market is depressed. I know I’m in a saving pattern for my next hire, and it’s been harder to get that play money account to fill up like before.

A few months back, I had a crazy cramp during a session. The provider gave me half back for leaving early, then felt bad and came back to hang out awhile longer. Didn’t ask for the half back, and I forgot.
I hired him again next time he was in town and he’s now a favorite. I gave him a huge tip to make up for the first time and I’ll definitely hire him again.
it’s amazing what a little kindness can do.

@Dante– why the eye roll? Should a client just fork over more cash for nothing in return? Are clients here for the pleasure of escorts? It seems perfectly reasonable that I’d expect something if I’m paying. Don’t you think? Something in return for my money? Enlighten me where there’s a flaw in my logic.

Eh. I don’t wear a mask. I don’t believe either extreme is right. We don’t need masks anymore, those of us who have all the boosters and possibly have had COVID.

FewBricksShy got a reaction from Epigonos in Cost of hiring
I have been reflecting more on this…
When I hire, I hire for multiple days. I usually bring guys in as well. I have had guys go with me on vacation as well. I don’t like the one-hour sessions of fuck and go. That’s me. I accept that this is also not a “cheap” hobby. But, venting here, there seems some level of disconnect from reality with some providers. The cost of hiring is not limited to the escort’s fee:
• Fee (multiple thousands)
• Transportation (hundreds, potentially thousands)
• Food
• Entertainment
• Lodging if it’s not my house
And this is for multiple days. The guy gets a trip out of, meals provided. Often in restaurants. Entertainment covered. And he gets to fuck, which if they’re to be taken at their word, they enjoy doing. I mean…The escorts are making out on this. I’ve had guys tell me they can’t do a weekend for the amount I’m willing to pay for their fee . And that’s not saying anything about their transportation or food or lodging or entertainment. All covered. The fee is on top of everything else they’re getting for free during the time we’re together. And then I’m supposed to understand how difficult this work is? What, exactly, is so bad about it? At some point it’s just entitlement.
Imagine if you will if the escort said, “I’ll cover the room” or “I’ll pay for dinner.” That’ll be a cold day in hell!

FewBricksShy reacted to romanz in Deleting RM reviews
This only applies to whether or not the review will appear or be visible on your profile, not the escort's profile. Even if you delete it on your profile, it will still appear on the escort's profile. Check it out.
This feature has always been there, but it used to be a small box you could check if you didn't want the review to show up on your own profile.
Hope this helps.

I think I will be moving on. It sure can be easy to get taken advantage of if you’re not careful and have your mind set from the beginning!

FewBricksShy reacted to MscleLovr in Cost of hiring
I understand your point of view @FewBricksShy but I don’t entirely agree.
I feel it depends very much on the person you hire as your vacation companion. I always checked how compatible we were with a couple of overnight dates before any trip. What is important to me in the initial discussion is whether
the man is a nice guy I can spend days with does he truly wish to visit the place I’ve chosen? It’s still work for the escort but if he is keen to visit Europe or Africa or Australia, he’ll be more flexible on the arrangements. And if he enjoys the vacation, he’ll perform better as my companion. I would always ask the guy first to tell me what fee he required for the trip. Over the years, I was often surprised by how reasonable the fees were. My instinct was that if a guy demands an excessive fee, he’s not interested and won’t make a good companion.
And Yes, on several trips, I’ve had guys tell me “I want to pay for dinner tonight” 😃

I agree with this. But you can’t demand that at the outset. It comes with time. And that goes for escorts as well as clients. A client will treat an escort well if he feels like the escort is treating him like more than an ATM.

This is different than RM removing them. The reviewer should be allowed the prerogative to retract a review or amend it.

FewBricksShy reacted to twinkboylover28 in Grindr scams?
What??
If someone doesn't find me attractive and/or doesn't want to have sex with me and/or puts me in the "anything with a pulse category" then I simply MOVE ON to the NEXT!!!
There are plenty of twinks in the sea.
I'm not going to apologize for the universal concept, and biological basic common sense need, of needing to be attracted to someone before I screw them. That's why bees are attracted to the flower, etc. etc. etc. To bring it down to this level, that's precisely why people on Grindr say "no pic = no chat".
You act amazed, and you actually said that most people on Grindr just want to screw "pretty" people." What's wrong with that?
In that case, why not just put a paper bag over some ugly person's head in the nursing home, or a barnyard animal for that matter, and have at it?
Yes, that's a vivid scenario but I'm making my point. Any thing "warm and with a pulse" is good enough for you?
Do you really want to be charity or pity-f***ed>?

I’ve met a few that disprove this. There are some great guys on RM.
Anyone who truly wants to get the most out of the situation will give the most. Ironically, the best way to receive is to give. This is applicable in most of life.

People aren’t wearing masks because the vast majority are vaccinated against the worst effects of the disease. You’re drawing a false equivalency. At any rate, I’m done with your “points.” It’s pointless.

I'm not watch an EMA press conference where they say getting a vaccine more frequently than recommended can impact your immune system, as that's not your original claim.
As for Israel, yes, the fourth dose has waining efficacy because the virus is being allowed to run rampant across the globe. And now that we do have vaccines, it's mutating to evade them. This is infectious disease 101.
Shockingly, you're not aware that actually having COVID damages your T Cells' ability to fight off future COVID infections, which is why even vaccinated people who've previously had COVID are getting it over and over again. There is no enduring natural immunity. In fact, it may be that each COVID infection makes you MORE vulnerable.
