Sigh.  But, we do have the takers.  I do, from time to time. Sigh. 😂 sorry y’all.  But I am doing my best not to encourage them with the $180-$200 range — which really means I have to use my noggin from time to time.

TennisPro35 got a reaction from claym in Chicago: young Asian masseurs descend
I have no issues with these travelling group of Asians.  They have a set range of $$ already and it hearkens back to how Taiwanese and Thai male massage places operate in their respectice countries on where there is a stable of boy/men to choose or given.
As long as they massage and extras are within the scope of the set prices(their particular business model) …good to go.
I’ll take a gander at the Chicago RMasseur page and see if any are familiar or if they’ve passed by Los Angeles already.

Short pockets of time here and there I find to read and contribute. A lot of the time I’m busy working. Currently on a four city tour and it’s been a crazy busy time. Booked back to back morning to night every single day for weeks now. I’m exhausted.
I enjoy learning more about the biz, trends, and how clients think. I do this for market research too. I’m also a client, at least for massage anyway. Sometimes people forget that. It’s entertaining here if nothing else. That’s probably the biggest reason I stick around.
Clients tell me from time to time my approach on the forums directly or indirectly influenced their decision to hire me. That’s just a bonus. I could spend my marketing time more effectively in other ways. It’s just a positive outcome. You can learn a lot more here than you ever could on a short ad bio, and clients like that.
Call me old fashioned, but I would rather read things here than on other major social media platforms for a few reasons:
    1) No algorithms curating what I see or don’t see. Nothing reinforcing extreme content or views. If I don’t like something or have no interest, I make a conscious decision to scroll on.
    2) A greater percentage of members are willing to engage in civil, thoughtful dialogue. More of us are invested in making our community better for everyone. Big social media is not like that at all.
    3) The content is focused largely on shared interests and related niche MSM topics, more specifically those on hiring. That creates a natural filter for things I am more likely to be interested in, have experience with, or have something constructive to contribute.
    4) There’s more space than 140 characters (or whatever limit du jour), and people here actually read. Sure we use images, but most of what we post here requires reading comprehension to engage. That’s refreshing when the rest of the world only has the attention span long enough to view a catchy headline or a photo.
    5) It’s easier to search for and reference things.

    Not in Phoenix.
The bad masseurs start around $125; the decent around $150; the escorts $250…
The rotating travelers hardly ever get my business.  I’ve definitely slowed down hiring based on the outrageous rates.

99.99999 % sure it’s Dan etc as they all have the similar tall very lean European body
i would proceed with caution and if the guy who answers the door isn’t the guy in the pic then be strong enough to say you are not the guy in the pic and i am leaving and then leave

For me, no. The majority of those I tried who had ads on both did not have good massage skills and leaned more towards erotic services. If you are looking for a more erotic experience it’s a good way to sus out a “masseur” who offers that situation. If you’re actually looking for a great, skilled, massage experience you’re more likely to be disappointed. In my anecdotal experience, anyway.

I’m glad you made this point. This recent crop of “masseurs”, over the past 5 years have found the magic formula to scam the naive…. These are the guys who want the RATES of an escort, but don’t want to perform the DUTIES of an escort.

So these guys ( usually young, good looking with nice bodies) get on Rentmasseur, (with zero massage skills) advertise “just ask”, rates (usually starting around $200-$300). Once  they find their lustful sucker, the poor chap ends up with baby oil slathered over him for a few minutes which follows with  a mediocre tug, while the masseur shakes his dick in his face, calls this an “erotic” experience, collects his cash sending the victim on his way, snookered…..and waits for his next victim.
Be careful when hiring, and pay attention to the signs. Don’t be lured by a hot profile.

All this damn bumping is on my nerves. So I'm going to pick up the mantle and do justice for everyone I have an appointment with him in 4 hours and I will report back to you. Hold your applause and your Thanksgiving for me. Until then. And then I want you to bow down. LOL

Interesting. I’ve only had two and they were some of the best Thai massages I’ve ever had. My only complaint is if he’s going to go with an HE just build up and go with it. I hate when guys just end the massage and then say “did you want…?” It just ruins the moment for me - just go with it.

Huh. I’ve noticed an uptick in solicitations from masseurs as well lately. I’d chalked it up to the lead up to Pride but now I wonder

I had a really nice 90 minute session with Vinny, a couple of weeks ago. His place is a 15 minute drive off the strip and he offers in-calls in a private second bedroom on a massage table or bed. Sweet, fit guy with solid techniques… His Canadian accent is adorable. Easy communication and warm conversation throughout. Great option for a Vegas-based provider.

Talked with him yesterday. Charmng guy. Set up an escort session with hm when I am in LA later thsi summer. Sorry guys but I volunteered to give him a depsoit. As usual when I offer they are thrilled. Really makes things go more smoothly. Also, I'll pay whatever he asks the first time. If he's all I hope, no reason not to spoil a guy that looks like that and spends time naked with me! <G> I'm not a bad looking guy, but no longer the guy that you would pick up in a bar. I'll report back.

TennisPro35 got a reaction from mkm556 in New RentMasseur feature
Those features (price paid) helped to see if there were other options in the “menu” - either to deter or allure my/our needs for that day.  The massage type - not so much - since a sensual massage (and extras-giver) masseur friend of mine says he appreciates the “therapeutic” entries to help him establish that he really is certified and gives a great massage (or maybe it’s a ymmv situation). Whenever i do leave reviews on rentmasseur, if it just gets a tad bit sensual, it’s an automatic “ sensual” massage categorization even if the masseur only advertises therapeutic.

I’m guessing we’ll all have to get these info now from our forum/community friends.
