I just had to share this because this is too funny for me. I recently had an encounter in the woods near a very famous cruising spot in north jersey around park closing time. Two guys were speaking in spanish and they seem kinda gorgeous, asking me if I was a top, bottom or verse, and I said side, so basically the tall guy, started whipping his c*ck out and then the gangster looking one as well. I hadn’t been to Chicago since being stranded there on 9/11. But it’s an incredible city and I’m glad I was able to get back last week for a nice visit.  Went to the Lucky Horseshoe on Wednesday and Friday nights and had a good time.  There were mostly twinks, a couple of fit guys, but no one I would call a bodybuilder (unfortunately - as that’s my type!). But I had a good time with the entertainers that were there. It was good to see that the boys still work to keep the patrons happy and LH drink prices beat the bar tabs I tend to amass in LA and the other cities I like to visit.  

Had most of my fun with an out of town dancer named Nikita, who I had met before in another city. He was quite lovely. 
He mentioned that there is a bodybuilder who dances named Justin. Can anyone share some info of who that might be in Chicago? I’ll still go back to visit but I was surprised that as large as Chicago is, that there weren’t any big boys dancing…

My opinion is explore, don't worry about titles. Don't worry about being a top or bottom. try everything that you are comfortable with. Try things you're not comfortable with, but know your limits. I was always a top with guys. It's almost funnily enough, like I thought it was "gay" to be a bottom. I liked being in control, In the bed, at work, everywhere. Until I was actually talked into being a submissive bottom.  
The feeling of not having to be in control. Where you just follow direction and only have to be in the moment and let somebody else guide things is the greatest feeling ever for me. Now the role can change depending on who I'm with. I still greatly enjoy being a top. But I have learned that being a bottom is pretty great also. I prefer to be a submissive bottom, but just do what you like. Don't be scared to try anything within your limits. 

My personal recommendation is that I'd drop any pic before 2020 (and favor those in the last 2 years or so).  To me, earlier pics imply that it's harder and harder to find flattering pics, and makes me ask twice about who it is that I will meet.  I normally then opt for a more current profile.

I get why memory lane pics can be warm and fuzzy, but I don't think you'd want clients to think, "I wish I'd met him then."  You want clients who want you now, and you're damn handsome as is!

It is definitely the prep work that gives me pause to want to follow through with booking a top. 
I would never feel comfortable showing up "unprepared". (Although I'm sure I must have done that when I was younger). I would be horrified if I were not 100% ready and there was an "accident". 
As far as being bi...certainly topping is more in my wheelhouse...but bottoming is still a desire for variety from the usual. I do think its a LOT more work to get ready to bottom. I can top at a moment's notice.

Definitely not alone. I have hired guys based almost entirely on their lips.

There was a young (20-something) in my eye doctor's office and who did some tests and measurements on me; it was impossible not to look at her lips. They were the personification of "bee-sting lips" and were ghastly! If her goal was to have people stare at her with morbid fascination and degrees of revulsion, wondering why on earth someone would do that to themself, she succeeded. 

I'm gay-in case anyone had any doubts. Large lips on a woman do nothing for me-actually large lips on a man don't do a lot for me either.
 
I hope it's not an expression of  dislike for myself as my lips are on the larger side. (For a possible medical explanation -see below). 
 
But a reel popped up on FB-with two women. And I was just struck by how much I disliked the thicker lips.

Ok medical time for those who might be vaguely interested. It's possible my lips were going to be on the thicker side naturally, but---
 
I had a bad overbite as a child. They determined it was due to a tongue thrust. My tongue wasn't in the correct position in my mouth. Where the normal tongue arches up and hits the cavity in the roof of the mouth, mine somehow made more of a u-shape. The back portion I think was up, the middle portion was down like the 'u' and then the tip pressed against the back of the teeth on top with enough force that my upper jaw had moved forward. 
 
Before I could get braces they said I needed myofunctional therapy (tongue therapy) otherwise once the headgear and braces were off everything would go back to the way it had been. I probably saw the myofunctional therapist for over a year.  She had  her own office  
One of the exercises I did was to -I suppose strengthen my lips.  It was called Tug-of-War.  There was a string. On each end of the string was a button. I would put one of the buttons in my mouth -behind my lips but in front of my teeth. Then I would close my lips tightly. Someone (often myself) would then pull on the string making the button pop out of my mouth. Or possibly two people could play. (I was 11 and 12. I don't remember exactly). And a person could put the button on the other end into their mouth. And we'd pull against each other. So voila -lip resistance training. It's probably the most resistance training I've ever done and also the one with the most effect.

Doesn’t sound f*cked up to me, not even a little.  In the olden days, back when conventional wisdom held that the best form of contraception was an aspirin, held between the knees, a mistress was such an enormous threat to a wife not just because of the emotional betrayal but also the possible financial burden that supporting a mistress & child imposed.  Flipped around, no husband wanted his wife to get pregnant with another man’s child, lest he get stuck with raising and supporting a kid that wasn’t his.  Even after the pill, Roe, and DNA testing, that mentality persisted.
Maybe that psychology shaped your agreement; maybe it has absolutely nothing to do with it.  Regardless, it sounds like you and your wife have figured out what works for the two of you, which is all that matters.

Today October 8th 2025 is the 11 th anniversary of the first time I met @Mikegaite. I don't know exactly where he was headed from or to, but he had a several hour layover at Seattle/Tacoma Airport. I saw his ad and was immediately enamored of him. I arranged to pick him up. I reserved  us a room at the Sleep Inn just down the way. And then had my way with him-or possibly vice versa. I can't say anything about Mike now as I haven't seen him since 2016.  But of everyone I met over the years, he's probably in the top 2 with the other guy he would need to duke it out with for number 1 being Andrew Justice.

When I was 24 I went to live in the South of France for a year. I arrived without having anywhere to stay and on the first day ended up being taken to hospital where I spent a couple of nights. It was all a bit weird how it happened, but I was well cared for and, even though I was a bit disoriented etc. was glad of the medics who sorted me out.
