Is there a difference between paying before you meet and as soon as you meet? When I meet a new guy, I usually pay cash. For various reasons. The most obvious being it’s the “safest” for both of us til we both know each other aren’t whackos. But even when I do that, I explain that the payment will be in an envelope, clearly visible, with his name written on it. Before we meet, I text him a picture of the envelope showing what it looks like. Before we meet, I tell him he’s free to count it then or whatever, but I don’t want to talk money once he’s there. That’s worked well for me for first encounters. I haven’t had a guy rush over to count it while I wait. And we don’t have to talk about money during our time together.

I understand things can happen at the last minute, but I get a little leery when I have an appointment scheduled with a provider for a time, and get a text (usually about 45 minutes or so before the time), asking can we change it to xxx time, usually 30-60 minutes later. 
I immediately get the sense he's trying to squeeze in another appointment, which irritates me. Its especially annoying when I am already on the way to the meeting.
Most recently, I've simply declined the change only to find, all of a sudden, the original time is fine. 
Thoughts?

Yes, please put a city in the header. I sometimes look for suggestions on the forum and the location helps. Plus, you're more likely to get a response from someone living in the city if you put its name in the header.

Thanks for all the helpful feedback!  The other thing I neglected to mention that made me a bit suspicious were the rates: $80 for 120 min. massage, $40 for an hour, etc. Seems incredibly low for 2021 !

There’s no such thing as a “going rate”. And I must say I’m perplexed @xyz48B by your response to @goosh69’s answer to your earlier question. It’s a process to find a boyfriend and it’s not as simple as hiring a guy for a date.

This is the thing. So many of you expect full course meals when they’re not for sale. Sensual does NOT require you to have a naked masseur. Nor a happy ending. Like, really be considerate of what we go through and what we have to worry about. If you want sex and sexual favors hire an erotic masseur or an escort. But stop treating and talking about us on this forums m like we’re just toys for your benefit and not human beings.

That might be a problem if you're looking for a provider, but if you're looking for a specific city? or trying to get info about someone who's local to a specific city you're traveling to? It would help. A. Lot.
And for travelers, I think anyone who does a search, seems to get cross-referenced. And including traveler in the line would help with sorting.
