The positivity rate in NYC is far lower than elsewhere--about 2% of the population tested with better testing coverage than most of the country. NYC is a much safer environment for hiring than California, Arizona, Florida, etc. Nowhere in the US is even close to levels of infection that would confer herd immunity and it's not clear that being infected provides immunity from new infection.

It's not like he's ready for Medicare and he is declaring an age that's probably in the same decade as his real one, albeit at a lower end. I learned a long time ago that once guys get into their 30s, the years are added more slowly to their stated age, much as happens in many other interactions (like lots of online hookup profiles).

Experience isn’t recent but I can say it was businesslike and perfunctory.

He s also been Chad Houston. Much discussed under both past names.

Have hotel protocols affected incalls at hotels?
buckguy replied to Nibs's topic in Questions About Hiring
Contact tracing is the responsibility of local health departments in most cities, state health departments in rural areas. Public health authority can be delegated to others to permit them to do contact tracing, but that typically means a clinic or medical center. It wouldn’t mean a hotel. CDC agents involved if there is a large local outbreak and they are asked to help. -
I wasn't interested in Lance, but the Aussie bf was memorable and a pro in the best sense of teh word.

Flying around makes no sense, if the point is for this guy to get situated in a good base. Flying around means expense and risk. Chicago or DC would make more sense than SF, LA, or NYC. LA requires a car and it takes for ever to get places. SF and NYC have gotten stratospherically expensive. DC is a good place for travelers because the local scene is so weak---a capable local could do well and probably meet people who'd want to travel him elsewhere. SD is a nice enough place, but it's really a medium sized metro (like Seattle), has a lots of competition, and is not a major business/conevntion destination.

@dcguy20: I feel lucky. No deposit, just ghosting after setting up an approximate date. I think he had a drug problem for awhile (I saw this on a porn blog or maybe his social media). He really just seems like a mess.

Rogue stats: clearly was "on something"

I had a lackluster experience with him. It seemed like he was on his way out of the business, but he stuck around for another couple years. Probably mid-30s at this point. Like a lot of people he probably needs the cashflow at this point. Having spent most of my adult life around people with advanced degrees often from prestigious institutions, I wouldn't get too hung up on what that means.

I was an early client of his. Obvious self-absorbed sociopath. The only truly sad thing was seeing how he amassed fan club here.
-
@kaboom---I mentioned having the same experience on the other, older thread on him. One of the oddest experiences ever.

OP---you're headline seems like an odd fit with the conversation, which was an issue with one person. Communication problems are an old story with providers, probably dating back to carrier pigeons and smoke signals. If you look at threads about this guy, communication has been an issue--if he's not available you won't hear back, for example. I was unable to schedule something with him because of when I was available---having read past experiences, I didn't let it bother me when I simply didn't hear back after some back and forth, associated with his changing his dates in DC. Yes, he was short with you, but yes, you changed the time multiple times. My experience with providers is that if there is more than one time or other logistic adjustment, it usually is a sign that there will be problems and if I let things go further, there usually are. I suspect that providers feel the same way.

I was working in Asia during SARS, the level of hysteria was less even though the risk of mortality was greater. Hopefully, the drop in demand will allow you to book a hotel at an advantageous, cancellable rate. I'd follow the situation on BBC and NHK (the Japanese equivalent of BBC) and ignore the US news media---they don't have good science/health reporting and infotainment/ill-founded hysteria is their brand. NHK in English is on many cable networks and has an online feed. Kamakura is a great day trip from Tokyo and very easy---frequent trains in the am. Get off at Kita-Kamakura and do the walk through gardens and temples to Kamakura town and the Great Buddha. Return via Kamakura station. The gardens are incredible--they don't look like much from the road but inside are very complex and serene. The walk from Kita Kamakura is about 1 1/2 -2 miles. The Lonelyplanet guide for Tokyo should have the specifics. Tokyo has lots of quirky museums, as well as an excellent cluster of art and history museums in the Ueno---which has a major rail station. The National Museum is the real gem. Unfortunately, it and some other museums are closed until at least mid-March https://www.timeout.com/tokyo/things-to-do/attractions-in-tokyo-and-japan-that-are-closed-due-to-covid-19-coronavirus

DC's property tax rate is not that bad---half what paid in Atlanta, a fraction of what people pay in Baltimore.

The only way to be successful with OnlyFans is to regularly produce new content, and not just 30 second jack-offs. A lot of guys with these accounts aren't doing that and I would imagine the numbers who really make a significant income stream from this relative to everyone else is small. And some of the people who know how to monetize this are guys like Mike Gaite who produces a lot of JustforFans content. Cam shows also seem to operate similarly----the performer needs a regular stream of activity to make money and a lot don't have a basis for doing this. Do OF/JFF accounts take some guys out of the escort market---probably. Will these radically change the supply of escorts--probably not. OF/JFF accounts probably are a bigger threat to regular porn , although the guys who are successful with OF/JFF probably do better starting off a career with professional porn to more rapidly build a following.

I probably contacted him at the same time as big-n-tall. You also might want to look at his twitter. He has some unusual kinks.
-
He's come to DC several times for what seem to be open-ended visits (no dates), so I've been curious what that was all about--some of pics look like they may be more recent than others.
-
Never understood how he made much money from his business model, given all the overhead associated with traveling. His website was always buggy, so I would imagine that the live show component also wasn't a big money maker.

Definite thumbs up for Fran on latbear4blk's link.

As for character and approach.....I had some pretty crappy experiences on a trip to Vegas a little before Peterhung's time. It reminded me that when I started hiring--when I was living in Atlanta a bit over 20 years ago, there were some good providers in town (2 are still around, but only one is still in Atlanta), but a ton of flakes and even the agency guys were not reliable, and that pattern remained the entire I lived there. Granted, Atlanta has a deservedly crappy reputation for a lot of things, but I had some problems in other cities, too. The one thing that strikes me from comments here is that there are more choiced and more information...some of it credible, some not. My guess is that the number of guys who choose this a sa profession has always been relatively small. The cohort who don't plan to make this a long-term occupation, but are well organized as business people and generally provide satisfying service is a bit bigger but not necessarily ever the majority. More providers...more to sift through. Nostalgia tends to be a corruption of history and suspect that if you went back to the beginnings of this site (I think some early posts are gone, sadly), you'd find the same complaints as today, and some of them coming from the most now-nostalgic posters.

RECOMMENDATION IN LA (VISITING DC): Beaux Banks
buckguy replied to + José Soplanucas's topic in The Deli
Was going to thank Bigntall, except my experience went off the rails....I emailed to confirm, he didn't "remember"; I mentioned where/what (RM emails) and we were back on track, then a question about Uber, that got worked out. He emailed me 45 Minutes before the appointed time and asked about later or the next day. Next day was out, later could only be a little later. Then crickets. -

Reminds me of the plot of “The Apartment”. Yes, more to the story. -
I’d give middling grades then and now. There were more smooth guys but they often were tweezed and shaved but not enough to camouflage this not being natural, not to mention the stubble burn. There are a ton more guys on the market, but there always have been plenty of marginal, misrepresenting, and/or disorganized guys. And more guys means more flakes. It also means many more choices in cities that had fewer than a handful of guys even 5 years ago. There were plenty of no shows and flakes in the old days. You could still get not great experiences from even well reviewed guys. Some of the posters on the other thread had relied on now-retired regulars and, probably forget how flaky random hires can be. The tats, including fairly random collections of tats have been common for over a decade. Providers change but so do clients and almost no one on the other thread (and I suspect this one) will really own that.
