Barcelona is becoming overrun with incredibly drunk Brits on holiday.

I feel that’s a sweeping generalization. Certainly Barcelona attracts many young visitors who like to party. It’s a big city and you’re likely to encounter many locals. The city does suffer from mass tourism but it attracts men of different nationalities, as does the nearby and easily reached small resort town of Sitges. It’s easy to date or hire attractive guys.

I’d also recommend Mallorca (aka Majorca) as it’s a beautiful island with great food. There are plenty of attractive locals and visitors eager to date generous strangers.

@MattDaniel I don’t recommend the Greek islands or the small cities of Croatia unless you take your companion with you. I have had Greek and Italian boyfriends in the past: they were all eager to please in bed and keen on having an older man as their boyfriend, but always very concerned about seeming ‘straight’ in public.

I just spent Memorial Day weekend in Barcelona and loved it. Maybe my sixth or seventh trip there in the past 15 years. IMO the most gorgeous guys in Europe, both just normal guys walking on the street as well as one of the best hiring scenes anywhere. Check out gayromeo/hunqz rather than RM. Sure if all you see is La Rambla or La Boqueria, it can be crazy touristy but loud Americans are as much to blame as drunken Brits. Generally inexpensive compared to more northern parts of Europe.

I’d also recommend Frejus/St Raphael on the Côte d’Azur, Sardinia, or Corsica depending on your budget and what you’re looking for. You may need to bring companionship with you.

I agree that Barcelona has some of the hottest guys in the world. I have never been to a city where everyone was gorgeous. There is workout equipment for public use on the beach and lots of guys using the equpment or getting a tan. I wondered why such hunks hang out at the beach until I was told that the unemployment rate is near 50%.

Just to give some detail on this: Spain suffered terribly from the global financial crisis. The overall unemployment rate in Barcelona is about 12%; for young people (usually defined as aged less than 25) the rate is much higher and said to be about 32%. Unemployment rates are much higher in southern Spain.

Barcelona....but not in Barcelona.

Sitges the huge rich gay beach resort a half hour out of Barcelona by train. Pride on now...lasts 1 week...thousands in town for it and a Pride all night concert with 10,000. Sitges

Barcelona itself is famed for Thermas Sauna with the worlds best 50E escorts. A Must Do and close to the train station.

I just left Zutich and am in Prague 10 days with 2-4 Bel Ami guys a day. I hear theres life outside my hotel room. I dont know or care.

Barcelona is becoming overrun with incredibly drunk Brits on holiday. Like how Ibiza has been for awhile. It's annoying.

Greek Islands. Croatia (Dubrovnik and KRK Island are beautiful). Majorca. Positano. Bonifacio.

Lots of options. Enjoy!

I’ll be hanging out at the beach in Montenegro, on the advice of some Slovenes. I’m afraid Croatia is overrun with tourists in August. I may also hit the Black Sea resorts around Constanta in mid-August. I can’t believe the lovely flats one can rent in the Balkans for like $40/day.
