The new M4M offshoot websites.

Time has passed and I`ve checked them all but still come back to this site on a regular basis.Things of interest are happening here. Maybe boring to some but I enjoy the current info from around the Country or World and feedback from a number of interesting posters.

IMHO I rate the sites as follows.

gaytravelbrazil.com. A great informational site for anyone who has been or is even contemplating a visit. Full of info and well worth a visit. I check it daily. :-)

maleescortreview.com. A beautiful site presentation with unfortunately and absolutely no content.Enjoyed the limited topics for awhile and still check daily but we`re now stuck with the fallout of what happened to the bottom of my list.

escortspeak.com. :+ :+ . Don`t care about you or who is in possession of your site or the next owner. It will become a self blog anyday just like the ricoblogsite. Much more fun & info happening at other blogs.

Oy. Give the sites time to develop their voice (and their content). Remember this site has an almost 10-year head start!

 

Right now, this site has traffic (and as you said, content) on its side. Daddy moved the site to a new server about a week ago. (Did you even notice, btw?) He checked stats after an hour on the new server and we'd had more hits in an hour than MER's posted TOTAL HITS EVER by an order of magnitude. That's just because we've been here longer and have people who come back out of habit. Plain and simple. The other sites haven't built their base yet.

 

Habits change. People change. Over time, people will land where they're most comfortable or where they find the most value. (Or where they can get in.)

 

The great thing about the web is that there's SOMEWHERE for absolutely everyone to have a voice. Even Fred Phelps has a site. Anyone can find their place.

 

Give it time.

This was one of the topics of conversation of the Palm Springs"do".

I feel that it is a sign of growth that these spinoffs occured.I only wish more would have been done to placate/include most of those who felt the need to "run away from home".

Three of the sites listed above have postings by friends of mine whose pressence is sorely lacking from this site now.And the topics upon which they posted have less input of value here now.

MER is in its early days,and as such it has few posters,and little traffic.However,as Deej mentioned above,it is ealy days for them and I wish them luck.There are those(myself included) who have issus with the owner of the site.But we are talking about a site devoted to hookers and johns here so you are not going to find a lot of"upright citizens"willing to put out the effort to run such a site.

Hooboy himself was not a choirboy by any means.

However it is good that there is a backup to this site should it fail or be shut down.

I do see new names(and I do hope they are indeed new posters)and a few names from the past here.I have heard the registration/sign-up for this site has become slow and a bit of a hassle,I hope that will be fixed soon.

For now,out of the sites mentioned above this is the only one I post on.

Escortspeak was set up to give an outlet for those posters from this site who wanted to attack what they considered to be censorship here, but it turned into vicious personal attacks on those whom they didn't like here. After the initial venting, it seemed to become nothing but a home for the permanently malcontent. Maleescortreview made the mistake of slavishly imitating this site--no new ideas, just new graphics. There isn't enough of an audience to justify a duplicate of M4M. There is enough money and smart people behind it, however, that it may evolve to fit its own niche; I hope so, because the more good sites there are, the more networking there is among people who are interested in the subject of escorting.

This MC seems to be much improved though, so maybe some people will come back, at least occasionally.
