Sorry this happened to you. I'm glad you're ok. I never open the door without looking through the peep hole. If I'm not sure it's the person I'm expecting, I will open the door the several inches that the safety chain allows.

I am more cautious than that. I will wait outside of my residence so I can make sure the guy who arrives is the person I am expecting.

This is a good reason why we need to $upport the forum. Without Daddy and the forum, we would have limited ability to identify the fakes.

Actually, one of the drawbacks of reviews of scammers is that unless the scammer actually uses his own photos and/or continues to use the same escort name and contact information, a review or even a warning will only help others for a very short period of time. Already someone has mentioned that the Rent.men profile is gone. I didn't see this thread or the RM ad until now, so I have no idea whom this warning is about other than that there was some guy using the name Rochardxx.

I'm not intending the discourage others from trying to be helpful; I'm just pointing out the facts. The same thing even happens with positive discussions in the message center. I cannot tell you how many times I have hoped to find feedback on an escort or masseur who is using a fairly standard and common name (e.g., Richard) and I cannot tell from the threads I find whether the discussion pertains to the person whose ad I am currently seeing since the discussions link to ads that no longer exist. What this does underscore is what we all already know -- it's definitely safest to hire guys with an established reputation.

. Yeah as I think about it, I should/need to be more cautious. I also wrote a negative review on daddy’s and RM. RM rejected my review, saying that our initial contact did not take place in the RM system. They went onto say that initial contact must take place through there system in order for them to approve neg/pos reviews. I know they publish positive reviews with no proof on contact through the RM system. So I responded to RM with the following:

I provided important detail in my review that should be disturbing to Rent.men and I believe you have a responsibility to take action. The pictures in that ad

are not the aggressive man that shows up. I believe you have an ethical

obligation to publish negative reviews of escorts. You have no problem

publishing positives ones. So explain why you apply different standards for

positive reviews verse negative ones?

They took the ad down.

They are getting better. I provided evidense for my negative review then they approved it.

I don't think "getting better" can be a thing when there is such a wide gulf between what they require for positive reviews and what they require for negative ones.

I completely agree. They have never questioned a positive review I have submitted. I have typically only written a bad review when the ad is an outright fake or something truly unusual happens. This, however, is the first time they took someone's ad down. Unfortunately, it doesn't mean he can just put another fake ad up. If you want the phone number he used, PM me.
