So, what was your best memory of 2005 and your worst memory of 2005?

 

For me ...

 

BEST: Ringing in the New Year at LeFluers (the poor man's Montreal). I had a grand time. THEN EVERYTHING CLOSED!

 

WORST: I am one of those people stuck in the Gaiety past! The allure, the gossip, the stories of the past, the outrageousness of the lounge, the strange patrons, the message board and ALL the scandals about apartments, star sightings, NEOgate, etc ....

We should have really started a support group. We would all gather, share stuff, eat donuts and then a Gaiety dancer would come in and "help us" deal with the pain and the loss. 2005 SUCKED because that place closed! Disney won and good, old fashioned smut lost!

Very sad indeed. That was a low point of the year for sure. I hope in his after life he has the fastest Internet connection ever.
