Actually, it isn’t the way you do it, many people have no issue with shaving, but there is an entire category of people with a “tendency for ingrown hair”. I am one of them. It doesn’t matter the technique. It is a type of skin and hair.

So I trim, but do not shave or wax or do anything that gets the hair tip completely hidden.

Otherwise guaranteed to have red bumps for several days.

Yeah. My back hair curls slightly and is stronger than my skin. The last time I got my back sugared I broke out in back acne that lasted for weeks.

when i always shave even during or after a warm shower, i get ingrown hair and red bumps on my chest for daysssss, my skin is just super sensitive however when i trim my entire body with my trimmer to the lowest setting it never happens. So thats what i do currently i trim when my hair gets too much, every week and a half/2 weeks. I prefer being smooth myself but I'm cursed with hairy latin genes, i do want to buy those at home laser removal kits for a while now

I kinda enjoy a bit of "fuzz" in the ass crack.... It tickles my senses.....

That, my friends, is why I use Magic cream.

I had back, upper legs, butt, crack, hole, and balls lasered (after all, I do a lot of it in my practice) and yes, it hurt. That's when I changed to Magic cream. And, I had my patients use it 1-2 days BEFORE lasering. The laser is not really used to work on the external hair but on the follicle. The more hair visible the more the pain! because it heats the hairs and therefore the skin. If you have no visible hair the laser sends all of its energy directly to killing the follicle. RESULT: less pain, better result, less number of treatments.

Shaving before laser helps but that stubble is there and still causes more discomfort.

I need to consider laser. What kind of price are we talking about?

If not mentioned already, keep in mind that laser is typically only effective on dark hair. I have blond/dark blond hair, so resort to back waxing and self-trimming everywhere else I want to be trimmed. The back wax dude trims my leg hair and I use an electric razor from Costco to trim/shave other areas.

  • 6 months later...

@Funguy has been a one-man Chamber of Commerce here on the forum for several years promoting hair removal cream. I finally got some a few days ago and it's perfect! Used it only on my chest and tummy, so far. Some hints: follow directions, spread it on generously, then be patient and leave it on for the max time suggested (usually ten minutes), use a junky wash cloth in the shower to wipe it thoroughly off.

I had some very small little red bumps for a day or two, but nothing alarming or ugly at all.

I had my butt, crack, chest, torso, armpits, lasered twice. It does hurt, but I have a high pain tolerance. I just had my second treatment, so I don’t know how permanent the results will be. I couldn’t imagine the pain of lasering my genital areas, especially the balls. One thing to note is that waxing, does stimulate more rapid hair growth. While lasering, reduces hair growth every time you do it.

Beauty is subjective, and the pursuit of it, often leads to a temporary facade of false happiness.

There's nothing false about the happiness I feel when my ass is shaved clean, and then licked. For many years I did it myself, then a friend helped me, and now I go to someone who does it professionally, so to speak. My pubic hair is light brown, and I don't have a lot. But I don't like the look of it. I think my ass crack and balls look sexier with no hair, and my tongue likes the feel of naked.

Some guys have great hair growth patterns in their ass crack, and certain colors/textures look better than others. If I liked what I had, then I would keep it. Since I don't, I remove it. I go for a shave about once every 3-4 months. No big deal. It's fun to have someone sexy do it for you.

If anyone is undecided about how to remove the hair but still wants it done, I'll gently nibble it off, then lick to test smoothness. In truth, I like any man exactly the way nature made him, but it's every man's choice to decide how he prefers to look and feel. If we ever meet, prepare to go through some low-lying scrub.

I used to perform laser hair removal in my office and it takes, on average, 6 - 10 sessions for a back, upper arms, butt, etc. The darker the hair, the fewer number of sessions. If having it done, DO NOT go in with long hair to be treated because the entire hair absorbs the laser energy and can cause more pain as it sits on the skin. I always had my clients use a cream such as "Magic" prior so it may look smooth but the laser grabs all the hair follicles in/under the skin with far less discomfort, especially on the balls and in the crack!!

I agree. I had laser hair removal done on my back and the dermatologist’s assistant would shave me before they lasered the area. It was really painful can’t imagine I could handle my private parts being lasered...

I was actually talking about beauty above the waistline...

Actually, the more you do it, the less grows back.

I have used Magic for more that 20 years - at first once a month and now, on my back 3 times per year; elsewhere  every 2-3 months depending on my schedule .

Even when it grows back, it's less. :)

And when I want it smooth and clean "in an emergency" a swipe here and there (mostly there) and 10 minutes later, smooth as can be.

If you have your balls and/or crack sugared or waxed, do you need to wait before having some playtime or can you go straight from the spa to meet your escort?

As for waxing, it is recommended that you wait a couple of days because you have created tiny opening. The person doing the waxing will probably advise that you use a lotion that you apply to the waxed areas. Of course, if you have to go to the bathroom you do so. You can then use Tucks or something like that to keep things clean. Then you are good to go. I have never had a problem. Hope that helps.
