That was two years ago that there was an issue and there was no escort of the year last year. It is probably for the best as escort is more a demonstration than a competition.

We do understand that these competitions are always subjective, meaning "its best for YOU"..... doesnt mean its gonna be "best for ME".... that's why I dont pay them much attention... If past EOY's were the best that's out there, the situation is mighty dire !

WHY do we need an Escort of the Year ?

 

We don't! I've been here since the late 1990s, and from that time there has been this facet at this blog/website. Since nothing had been mentioned in 2017 regarding this-- this curious mind just thought he'd inquire. My query has been answered in one of the post preceding this one. I now know that there will not be this "contest" this year or perhaps in the future. I'm ALL RIGHT with this.

On the other hand, my two favorite escorts of all time were both EOY at one time or another. I probably would not have taken the time to meet them without the "stamp of approval" as they both lived far away from me. But I understand why the management might not want to go down that street again.
