I am glad you had and have great experiences with him. Very handsome guy. Nice on the surface. I had many sessions with him. Would even go hang out and grab lunch without a session involved. Like I said..I gave him a good amount of money to get something for me he said he could. All texts stopped after that. A fucktard in my book. If he needed money I would have gladly spotted him or advanced sessions. I'm glad your interactions have gone better than mine. I try to stay objective in all matters. I never put him down as an escort...just the character of the person. About one month after my last contact with him I saw him being hired at the Luxor gay pool party on Sundays. He saw me and never looked up or waved. Stayed in a Cabana the whole time That in itself shows character or lack there of. Since I can afford the loss I'm fine. Why someone would put themselves out there like that is beyond me..it's not like taking a million dollars or so. I can certainly sympathize with Gymowner. I had a "good relationship" with an escort-stripper whom I hired many times. We even went on trips together (non-escorting trips), I lent him my car, would pick him up at work and we'd eat out before dropping him off at his home. I was friends with his dad. This went on for a couple of years until one day I was checking my AMEX card and discovered that, over a few weeks, he had withdrawn several thousand dollars from the ATM using my card. I could not prove it was him but he had obviously found my PIN number (I had stupidly left the number on a piece of paper on my bureau) and had taken the card to ATMs when he had stayed overnight and I had gone to bed. I called the police but they said that AMEX would have to press charges and that I should call AMEX. When I called AMEX they said they would investigate. About a month later AMEX reimbursed me for the stolen funds but said it was too much of a hassle for them to press charges. Bottom line: for two years I would have sworn that this guy was good as gold; it only took the temptation of some easy money for him to show his true self. So, I can certainly commiserate with Gymowner and know the agitation, anger, and maybe some depression over being duped by someone I believed was a good person and a friend.

Too many times these guys look at us gay men in disdain and we aren't even aware of it. They have what we WANT.. we have what they NEED. That makes them many times even more unsettled that they are dependent on us for their livelyhood. Try this to see if they are friends. Tell them that you are going thru hard times at the moment and can't hire them for the next month. Tell them you want to go to dinner with them and since you paid for so many dinners, you need to have them spot the dinner and you will pay them back in a month. Then see what "friends"they really are. It's easy to get caught up with the "I'm friends with a hot Uber stud that everyone stares at". But in the end there really is nothing. I see a regular very hot guy now. He states time and time again he loves talking with me and we are like friends. I correct him. We are friendly but not friends. He asked why do I say that. I said "no disrespect but if I called you to hang out one night as friends do with each other... Would you go"? He looked at me and quickly changed the subject. So there you go guys!!!
