First off, I'm not treating anyone like idiots so stop. Please.

But if you want to act naive and pretend like people aren't discussing me even after I said I'm not participating, well that's a choice to be an idiot. If I said I'm not participating, it's insulting to talk crap knowing I don't want to be involved. That's insulting.

Victor Powers bought me up where it wasn't warranted, which created additional conversation. He's apologized so I'm not berating him, but since I happened to see it, I addressed it. Had he not mentioned me, I'd of never replied to this thread.

Are you fucking kidding me dude ???? If you werent lurking around like a paranoid lost puppy, trying and HOPING to see who is talking about you, you wouldnt know about their conversations. Face it, you LOVE and attention, and the Drama, and you aint leaving... So you have alot of damn never calling anyone here an Idiot.... And creating another new name doesnt mean you are gone. Your negative comments and writing style never change, so even Helen Keller would know its YOU......Stop giving yourself so much credit for being the brightest candle in the candelabra.... YOU AINT !

Seriously..?

Blackmail is an act, often criminal, involving unjustified threats to make a gain—most commonly money or property—or cause loss to another unless a demand is met.[1][2] It is coercion involving threats to reveal substantially true or false information about a person to the public, a family member, or associates, or threats of physical harm or criminal prosecution.[1][3][4][5]

I hope this kind of behavior doesn't dissuade you, because people failing to honor commitments happens in all businesses. It's human nature, it's part of our character, we are a flawed species.

There will come a point in time that you realize it's just not worth the frustration, but that point is different for all of us. I remember waking up one morning and realizing that I had enough, and it was time to walk away. Fortunately...I was able to do it on my terms. It was a gift from the man above, but I took it with great gratitude. It can never be said enough..."For every door that closes, one opens"

Thank you for the Pep talk. I'm not giving up. I really do enjoy what I'm doing. ....:D

It’s more a question of ethics. If one would extort a fee for missed appointment by threatening to post name, phone number and/or email on an Internet blacklist, what other unethical things would this person do?

Blacklist is for the serious intentional offenses. You're seeing it from a viewpoint of how can someone do that, over a missed appointment.

I don't suggest that for missed appointments. I suggest a missed/cancelled appointment fee. It's been as low as $50 to as high as $500. That takes care of that.

Blacklist is for the guys who do it over. And over. And over. And over and over and over and over again. And don't pay the cancellation fee. They text incessantly, often distracting me while driving, doing other things, or focusing on scheduling others. Especially when it's someone out of town. One guy in particular has made 3 appointments with me, asks all these questions over a period of days, and then has something come up. It's the ones who book, send their face pictures voluntarily, and then without a trace or reason flake.

First of all, why the duck would someone even do that? Send me a picture of them and then flake. Is t perhaps not who it actually is? That's the type of mother ducker who gets placed on blacklist. I used to like Blacklisted John, but it appears they've fell off. The good thing (for misbehaves) with national blacklist is it's not searchable thru google like BLJ was. I used to google numbers and the guys who were pricks, were invariable reported to BLJ by another escort before.

That's your problem, Mocha: you continue to collude with these no-show clowns. And you only hurt yourself. But if they no-showed even once, why would you give a second chance to affect your business/decrease your revenue stream/anger you? But you do it over and over?

col·lude

kəˈlo͞od/

verb

  1. come to a secret understanding for a harmful purpose; conspire.

They text incessantly, often distracting me while driving

It is illegal and dangerous to text and drive. Dont do it. If you really are distracted while driving and hearing pings on your cell, just turn it off or put it Airplane mode. Then you might not be so angry and frustrated but rather, feel better and not have rant and rage like a maniac all the time, which would definitely make me feel better.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

You know I love you!!

As I've said before, I think it's my job to get to where an escort I want to meet is, so I wouldn't have flown you to Australia. And if you were here there's no fucking way I'd be cancelling!!

Having just returned from Sydney, I think you'd make a splash there VP and should make a trip. Escorting is legal, and the Aussie met are HOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT

Thank me @mike carey :)

Lol, thanks. I intend to go to Palm Springs for the meet-up next April (it's still an intention rather than a plan, but still), and @VictorPowers will be there.

Well VP may be there, but you KNOW he'll be tied up (maybe even literally) . There a bunch of guys with their tongues out waiting to sample that "rump roast".... ;)

The issue I see in your plan would be the ticket cost of Australia is just insane. Given it'd be a work trip, I'd need to "work my ass off" to make a profit.

I keep seeing Sydney for @ $800 RT from LA. I set airline agents on Tripadvisor and Justfly to watch for cheap flights to places I want to go. $800 is like, 2 hours for you VP LOL? PS there's plenty there - hard to imagine working it ALL off

Yes I realise Victor may be constrained, either in the time he has or physically, but being in the same postcode is a start. Australian readers of the forum have the choice to wait for Victor or any other US provider to come here, or get their arses on a plane and go to the US and meet them or hire them (or both). From what I've seen, some escorts want to take international trips as combined vacation/working trips, others see them as only working trips.

And I agree that air fares to Australia can be insane. There is limited competition on routes there. Doing a random search about a month out from now showed fares of $AU1200 RT from LAX to SYD, but that's picking a date rather than looking for alerts for advertised fares that you may not be able to find for the dates you try to book ($1200 is about $US900, it's just the aggregator I use quotes fares in AUD, and Australian consumer law prohibits omitting taxes and extras from quoted prices so the quotes may not be strictly comparable). The exact amount isn't the point though, the point is that there are relatively cheap fares out there if you look. Of course if you always fly with a particular airline because you have lounge access and the like, it may be harder to find a cheap fare.

Well then. Australia here I come! It's on my list to visit someday. Keep in mind I'm based in UT. RT is double the LAX cost. It'd be cheaper if I book 2 separate RT flights SLC-LAX and LAX-SYD. Increase the price you found to north of $1k and the hassle of paying 2x for baggage given neither of the cheap options is Delta(My frequent flyer program of choice). In short, it'd be either a logistical nightmare or expensive to make it there.

@mike carey Its difficult to vacation and sprinkle in appointments. I tend to not be in "work mode" when I'm relaxing in vacation. Maybe I'll give it a few more tries. I love international travel, and attempting to work in another country definitely would be an adventurers its own.

I booked my own (separate) RT to LAX and then LAX to Sydney, downside is if there are delays it's on you to re-book and/or pay penalties - this happened to me :(. Actually suggest using a travel agent (Amex?) to book int'l flights they know all the layover times, customs rules, visa requirements etc. I think you need a Visa for Australia? You can research cheapest fares then call an agent to book.

Oh, I understand that completely, I was commenting, not judging. Some guys can take a few tricks on vacation, some just want to go in complete vacation mode. I can understand both. If you buy separate tickets to LAX or SFO and then from there to an overseas destination, you have to be sure you have plenty of time between the two flights. I'd say have a couple of days' stop to be safe (for an escort it could be a working stopover). Booking the whole itinerary on a single ticket means that it is the airline's job to ensure your connections work, and you can check your baggage through. A travel agent may be a good idea if you want to go to more than one city overseas on your trip as packaging long-haul and domestic flights can be cheaper. You do need a visa for Australia, but it's an electronic travel authority that you apply for and receive on-line for about $20. (Same as we need for the US.)

This is for the Escorts that have a booked client. Everything is set, what the client expects, time and place. When that day arrives. I usually text or email them several hours before to confirm our appointment The client tell you everything is a still on, and will give you the address closer to our appointment time. You pick out your clothes, shower, shave and do everything to be "Ready " for the reason you were hired.. Only to have that client not respond to any further communication.

Why is so difficult for a client to let the escort know something has changed and they will not be able to keep our appointment..... o_O

I can’t think of any incident where a client canceled at the last minute. I have had more than a few who have canceled with a reasonable amount of notice. The thing I noticed though is how unwell clients’ relatives seem to be. Often a sick or dying relative in another state whom they have to go visit is the reason they give. But the most common reason given is work. Something came up and they unexpectedly have to work. It’s not typical that a client cancels, so it doesn’t really bother me much when it happens.

Try to attend the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras (and get in the parade). It's amazing and you will not regret the effort or cost.

I agree that there could be 1001 reasons people back out. Often they're just nervous. We have all walked past the gay bar we wanted to go in several dozens times before drumming up the courage to actually do it! The other thing, and I've lost count of the number of times I've tried to explain this to men, especially online. Contrary to what you might read on the internet, not all gay men are constantly "up-for-it" or gagging for cock! And I'm also not a machine. I can turn my sex on with the flick of a switch. And if I'm not horny a couple of Olympic gymnasts isn't going to magically me horny. Although twins might!

The reason they don't return your calls isn't because they're ignorant bastards. It's because people don't like letting other people down. (I'm serious) and to ring somebody (in another world) you've arranged a date with and can't or don't want to go......calling them and telling them the facts can, for some people be really tough. If they ignore your calls and texts, they assume you'll get bored after a few hours and go away.

So don't! Go round to their house and stand in the street and shout up at the window until the neighbours begin to pay attention! Then they'll let you in

;-)))
