Have you asked him what his HIV status is? Have you asked him when his last HIV/STD test was? Have you asked him if he's on Prep? Would those answers help you make a decision? If you do hire him make sure he can perform using a condom and make sure he doesn't slip if off half way thru.

To be honest, I assume all of my partners may potentially have been unsafe and take appropriate precautions. Just because an anonymous person online posts they're safe only does not mean it's true.

Hot or not hot, if you are going to be so preoccupied with his having barebacked that you don't enjoy the session you probably should not have sex with him. However, here are a few things to consider:

  1. A guy who says he always uses a condom could be lying and you could end up having sex with someone who barebacks and lies about it without knowing you are doing so. This guy has been truthful and has given you plenty of information with which to make an educated decision
  2. If he cums on you, there is virtually no probability of transmitting the HIV virus. The skin would have to be broken, as the semen would have to come in contact with your bloodstream. Frankly, if you have broken skin or an open sore you probably should not be having sex, as sex could cause further damage to the tissue. Oh, and he would have to be HIV+ in order to transmit the virus. No virus, no transmission.
  3. If he cums inside of the condom inside of you, there is a very low chance of transmitting the virus if he is HIV+ and zero chance of transmission if he is HIV-.

This conversation comes up pretty regular. It's an unwinnable exercise in deciding a "right" answer to what is intensely personal: risk versus reward. It reminds me alot of the "tattoo" arguments.

we all have to be responsible for our own threshold of what is safe and what is a risk. If I remember my own history during the " who knows how it's spread time" I had to weigh the options for myself and not depend on what others said or told me, especially when it came to strangers.
