I've seen a fair bit of dialogue around escorts asking for pictures. Today I was asked for stats and age. Is that a red flag?

It's not so much of a red flag for me as it is a discriminatory means of weeding out people who don't appeal to him. He could be culling his responses based on a number of criteria. Those asking for a picture don't get my business.

I do ask guys for their age because if anyone says they are younger than 35 I Immediately don't respond back. Most of the times those under 35 were mostly time wasters and no shows, or they try to haggle extremely and say I'm too hot and young, I don't need to pay

Yes, it's a red flag. I don't get asked often but I have had a few occurrences where communication stopped after they found out my age & weight. Probably dodged a bullet, but it's still annoying.

under 30 is a definite no

between 30-35 is still a grey area, I still try and give a chance between 30-35 but I proceed with caution. Its just I've had bad experiences with clients who were younger, I can count the amount of clients I've met under 35 in one hand hmm maybe 2 hands

I never would because it signals a possible narcissistic prima donna. On the other hand, I suppose I'd rather be turned down than have what I'm sure would be a bad experience. The whole idea is a turn off for me personally.

I for one do not gave an issue giving my stats....and sometimes a picture too. I know I'm in the minority but I find it sets up some mutual trust, and prevents unsatisfactory meetings.

I don't have an issue with it, just disappointed with the guys who you don't hear from again once you give the stats. If they have no problem with my stats, then more power to them.

Those clients who work in a sensitive field or occupations where their photo being associated with an escort site would be foolish to send a photo. One never knows where the photo will end up, or how it could be misused.

 

I am surprised that escorts don't think about this fact when requesting client's personal details and photo.

Client photos can be "stolen"'from Facebook, website....just like escort/masseur pics. Maybe someone stole mine?

True, I wouldn't send them anything that couldn't be found publicly. Probably one of the many pictures on my facebook page with me and a bottle of wine.

In order for your photo to be stolen from your facebook account would require the escort to know your name. Is a full name regularly exchanged when negotiating for a meeting with an unknown escort? It is not with me.

I don't have an issue with it, just disappointed with the guys who you don't hear from again once you give the stats. If they have no problem with my stats, then more power to them.

 

I'm not a bad looking guy, kinda cute when young, but everyone, or nearly everyone, has dealt with rejection at some point. I would hire escorts in large part, so I wouldn't have to go through the time consuming, uncertain, and sometimes depressing bar scene. Not looking for love, just good sex, with minimal hassle, and pretty much instant gratification. As Harvey would say, "Is that so wrong?"

Reverse image search? If I send a pic and am then am somehow "comprised " I have an out "that pic of me is all over the internet"

Very early in my emailing or texting with an escort I give him a considerable amount of information about myself including my age, height, weight, sexual likes and sexual dislikes. If any of those stats are unappealing to him I'd far rather have him discontinue contact with me early rather than at his front door. I have only once sent a photo to an escort and that was recently. He asked and when I initially said no he didn't object so I though what the fuck and sent him a photo. We have a meeting set up early next month.

I wish I could be as frank with an escort that I have never met and with whom I am contemplating meeting.

 

As you wrote, it is better to know before meeting if there is compatibility.

funny because I know a lot of escorts who have plenty of young clients, most of them Asian and South Asian men who are closeted and want to have fun with discretion.

 

There are also a lot of young men posting in this forum as clients and some who recently joined yet they've been allegedly hiring since they were in their 20's.

I'd be more concerned if they didn't. It only means they could care less and chances are probably about 100% it won't be worth a second time. Hop on up on the assembly line and wait your turn.

While it’s your prerogative to run your business how you see fit, and I can certainly understand that you may choose to ignore those under 35 if a large percentage of people that age were flakes in the past, I also happen to know for a fact that there are serious clients under 35.

 

As to the general issue, I was asked recently (and I obliged in general terms), but it was the first time in a long time. Over the last 10 years, I would say I have been asked for age/stats perhaps 10-20% of the time. My concern with providing info is more about discretion than rejection.

I have no problem giving out my age / weight / height stats and do that early on in my conversations with a new escort.

 

Once I had an escort ask me for age / weight / occupation, in his first reply to my inquiry. I thought that was unusual. I found out later that he was looking for a sugar daddy type of relationship - the occupation therefore made sense.

 

Have you ever tried booking a female escort through an agency in New York? It is much, much worse. They ask for verifiable name, verifiable address, phone number and credit card information! Thankfully, I am gay.

My stats and pictures are in my profiles in Adam and RM, my two major sources of sex. I do not mind an escort verifying whether or not he finds me attractive, although I am pretty sure the guys with the talent to find attraction in everyone can reach out to a wider market.
