To an escort. Who would qualify as a regular? Is it once a month, twice a month, every quarter? How would you characterize a client you see every week? Am I the only one who would think it's an affair? I know the pros would say they treat all their clients the same, but as any business that would reward loyalty, should a weekly client expect more?

I would think a regular would be anyone the escort would see more than once over an extended amount of time. There are guys I don't get to see often, but I see every time I can (seen them for going on years). A regular can be a weekly thing, a monthly thing, quarterly... yearly even.

Each client is different and I'm sure the escort deals with each client at least slightly differently. It's all about the chemistry. I'm sure some working guys will do more with clients they really like. I know that's a certainty. However, I don't think a client should expect more even if he sees the escort weekly. If it happens it happens.

I cannot strictly define what a "regular" is, but I think know one when I see one. In the past couple of years, I have met one boy over 50 times, another one over 40 times, and yet another one over 30 times. I meet each one of them in average once a week, or every 2 weeks. I guess that qualifies them as my regulars, and me as their regular, right?

So you go to escorts at least 3 times a week? That's a lot!

I know, I am a slut :p I normally do it twice a week, on average. Every week, I see one or two of my three regulars, or else one of my regulars and a new boy, or else two new boys, or else, in dry weeks, only one of my regulars, or only one new boy. The possibilities are endless., and I do keep myself busy

I envy your "down" time.

This is a great question. I'm interested in hearing some perspectives from escorts. I'm interested in developing a few regular arrangements (my preference is getting to know and feeling safe and comfortable with a few over time versus the thrill of the new) and am curious what is considered the right balance between too much (potentially implying infatuation) and just occasional. I understand that all clients are likely treated the same, but anything a client should know?

It's ironic that I asked the guy I see routinely when he cycles through Dallas this very question last week of what he considers a regular client. His response to me was anyone he's seen more than two times. His rationale was that the first meeting was simply that...a first meeting to see if there was interest on the the client's part. He stated that many times a second meeting with the same client was often times residual euphoria (my paraphrasing his words) from the first meeting. He told me once the client hires him a third time he obviously had a satisfied customer and that customer was considered one of his regulars.

God I hope this makes sense to those who read it. :)

Makes perfect sense. There's a connection if you're seeing the same person repeatedly.

I think what I'm most curious to know from an escort is how they maintain the interest of a regular. Hence the "treatment " question. I would think that after the "regular" has been established, particularly a weekly/monthly schedule, is it not good business for the escort to show that client, assuming that client has consented or even encouraged, some extra attention? An occasional "hey" how are you? Can't wait to see you again...

I'm curious about this as well. I haven't received any follow up after visits (and repeat visits), so I generally assumed they did not like the experience (hopefully that is'nt the case) or they aren't really in this for the business per se, more of an occasional activity for some extra earnings.

A regular is anyone who has been seen 3 or more times, regardless of the duration of time between visits. It takes that third time to know if it is a perfect, comfortable fit.

I dunno dude. I can say with certainty that the 3 regulars I've had, I knew we were a fit from the first visit.

I'd like to know too, is there "preferred" pricing if one has a standing arrangement with a particular gentleman?

I think that may depend on how regular the "regular" is. Personally I've never broached the subject cause it may reek of cheapness. But if the sessions are frequent, I would say they would probably be open to that. It's the whole bird in hand thing.

I know what you mean. I mean, I'm not going to quibble over $20. I have seen an AD where the provider said, the tenth visit is free....it's just interesting but also quite an awkward thing to discuss.

I wouldn't say there is preferred pricing on being a regular, but what is commonplace is having sessions "go long" at no extra charge. :)

Exactly. No preferred pricing, but longer sessions. That is my experience.

I see a couple of gentlemen on a regular to semi-regular basis--enough so that I can describe myself as a "regular client". I never quibble or negotiate on fees as I think that cheapens the encounter and puts an impediment on whatever relationship--professional or personal--that has been established. However, some of the gentlemen I see on a regular/semi-regular basis do provide, at no extra cost, some extra time or some other small benefit that does not involve a cash transaction or commitment by either me or the professional. Also, I have found that I can provide an extra bit of appreciation by taking them to lunch or dinner or give them a small gift or token of appreciation. To sum it up: All of this boils down to a client/provider relationship--albeit a very personal one. Therefore, the Golden Rule definitely applies.

I like having regulars (had one up until last year, and another this year), but I don't like getting guilt-tripped when I decide to sample someone else. And since I usually hire on an extremely regular schedule (once a month, almost down to the day), my regulars can easily tell when I decided to hire a different person.

Are you just feeling guilty or does he actually say something? A good regular shouldn't ever guilt trip you.

I actually get my regular's opinion on someone I'm considering highering. He's a pretty confident guy. He knows he's my main squeeze and I couldn't possibly be happier with our arrangement. He also knows what I like and gives me honest feedback about potential diversions.

For a client who expresses an openness to wanting to have regulars with a specific provider, should I be surprised when there is no friendly outreach or touching base from the provider to try to support the development of this? Just curious. My experience this far is the every time seems to be treated like a first time.

Based on earlier discussions, I would then have to say that all of the guys I see are regulars: I have been with each more than 3 times. Most are also travelers to my area so I see them whenever they come thru town: again, the sign of a regular. I also can't wait to see each of them when they are here.

Rarely, I sample someone new but then just add them to the cycle and thdy become regulars.

OMG - when will I have time to work?
