To be fair, some (maybe even many?) of the guys who are immigrants may have legitimate expenses they are trying cover. I’ve been involved with a few guys in the past from the Caribbean and Latin America who had to survive in an American city with high costs of living while sending money back to their families in their home country. And if they were undocumented, their work options were extremely limited. Ultimately, I passed on Mathianis since I wasn’t ready to pay his high fee. However, Mathinias charges $2,500 for an overnight, which most of here (not all, mind you) think is absurd. He told me, “I’ll show you a good time, trust me.” As soon as I told him I just got back from a week long trip to Colombia with an escort who lives here now for that same price, it was like he was offended and taken back that I could not have had the same experience for the same amount of money, and that THAT type of escort ruins for the best escorts (like him). I think that is nominal amount for nyc cost of living. Even if he charges 350 now, that is still pretty fair for a premier escort in nyc. Higher cost of living city=higher rates. I see where you're coming from, but I have to disagree with the conclusion you have made. I live in small town Canada where all salaries tend to be lower than in many big cities - whether you are an office worker, gardener, or lawyer. If I moved to London, UK I could make several times more per year than I do now. If that were my situation, I would not settle for what I was making in small town Canada when everyone else in the same career was making much more. And I would say the reverse should be true as well. If I decided to move from London to small town Canada, I would not be expecting to still receive my big city salary.
