Escorts too avoid

Hey guys me again.

I don't know if this has been done before, but are there any escorts out there one should avoid? I think we all know about Mike Marino and Scott Sloan (and Scott Randsome back-in-the-day.) Are there any other current escorts clients should avoid or at least tread with caution?

Seriously, I don't want an all out bitch fest against escorts, just some details to make an informed decision.

Thanks!

I appreciate the importance of sharing information, especially to avoid scams of various kinds and certainly to avoid physically dangerous situations. At the same time, one concern I have about inviting people to critique escorts on an anonymous forum is that there is no vetting process and in most cases no opportunity to hear “the other side of the story.” This really does not seem fair when someone’s livelihood is on the line and his reputation can be sullied by gossip or innuendo. I believe there have been incidents in the past where clients and/or escorts have joined the forum simply to cause trouble, making false claims to hurt someone’s business, whether out of a rivalry with a competitor or a misguided attempt to “get back” at someone who rejected their requests or offended them in some minor way. I know it’s not your intent to create some kind of “all out bitch fest,” but I think we need to tread carefully here.

Having said all that, I don’t mind saying that I would personally avoid “Sexy Mega Pornstar Brodie Sinclair” who claims to be “Rentmensfinest.” IMHO, discretion is the number one rule in this business, and he has demonstrably transgressed it. https://www.companyofmen.org/threads/escort-outs-conde-nasts-cfo.106197/ In addition, he is reputed to be “batshit crazy.” https://www.companyofmen.org/threads/does-rm-have-a-responsibility-to-block-ads-from-people-like-brodie-sinclair.110665/#post-1041585 So yeah, he’s probably one to avoid.

Welcome to the forum, @Milo Farnsworth.

Echoing and perhaps amplifying what @saminseattle said, I think this has too much potential to devolve into a gossip fest. I think, at least in theory, we should leave gossip to PMs. :)

For instance, just because one or even a few clients didn't vibe with an escort doesn't mean that merits a general airing. Although well-intentioned, it seems to me this is indeed asking for a "bitch fest"with too much potential to be unfair.

In the interest of being constructive, here's my alternate suggestion: Both more fair in theory and more productive given the number of escorts available would be for you to start from a more specific place. Identify, say, 10 escorts you're interested in and do your own independent homework. See if there are existing "411" threads about them. If they're dormant, revive them with a question. Then, you could post links in this thread to the ads of escorts you're interested in who don't already have such threads seeking more specific info.

Regardless, good Milo hunting. :)

On the flip side, I wonder if there is a 'clients to avoid' website or forum out there. A place where escorts discuss clients that are unhygienic, obnoxious, scammers, violent or undesirable in any other way ...

There is such a forum. Two escorts have told me about this. It's a blacklist site where must-avoid clients are listed/identified somehow. It helps escorts dodge a bullet from crazies, druggies, no-shows, and the like.

Thank you for all your input. I didn't mean to open a hornets nest.

You haven't!

IMO, @marylander1940 is right. You didn't open a hornet's nest, @Milo Farnsworth . Thanks to some astute advice, the hornet's nest has remained intact and all hornets are present and accounted for.

@BigRic's suggestion is a good one - ask about specific escorts and invite folks to reply by starting a "conversation," which many of us call a "PM" (for "private message"). Prior to the implementation of the current Forum software, exchanges between two members were referred to as "private messages." Now they are called "conversations." In addition to avoiding a bitchfest, starting a conversation ensures you do not run afoul of the "no reviews in the Forum" rule. That rule exists for the reasons @saminseattle mentioned in his post.

Hope that wasn't to much detail. ;)

On the flip / flip side, do escorts ever tell other escorts about clients they should welcome? I doubt it, but thought I'd throw it out there.

Of course. I do.

And on the flip flip flip, I recommend escorts to clients when I'm asked about friends/recommendations/duos. That's part of what I'm up to when I talk up another escort on these pages and/or on MSS, especially if it's someone who doesn't advertise (like a Justin Philly or James Denver).

The idea being that paying it forward also reflects positively on me, perhaps generates duo business, enhances my status/raises my profile and helps puts smiles on more client faces (and, yes, more dollars in escort wallets). It's part of good client/business development.

I've seen that site in the past although I can't remember how to get to it. I'm wondering if it is still being updated as I have a vague memory most of the postings were old when I saw it.

I don't think there's ANYTHING wrong with being warned about scorts on here, and I DON'T mean about a lousy time or if he was high or rude or flaked out and was a no show etc, those do belong in the reviews or PM's. I mean if it involves a scam or theft or violence or danger. Don't we have that obligation to help keep each other safe here??

*Yes I understand from a scorts POV a disgruntled client or competing scort can make up wild accusations, but a "newbie" label is usually the giveaway.

I'd sure like to think that something of your bolded variety would be exactly the kind of serious matter that leads to the creation of an already-existing dedicated thread?

Also, forgive me if it's discussed in a site FAQ somewhere but what determines the moniker a member gets, which shows up just below the screen name to the left of our posts and that changes over time ("Baron," "Knight," "Master," etc.)? Is it length of membership, number of posts or something else?

Where I may be going with this is that, if it's a function of how active someone is on the site, the "Newbie" designation might not necessarily be a "giveaway" of anything/an indication that that member should be taken less seriously. (Heck, this whole conversation we're having right now is in response to an OP by a "Novice.") One of the things I mention (read: prattle on at length about) in a 411 thread about me is that I have numerous clients, especially from Adonis Lounge, who don't know about this site or its reviews component. Just because they have no tenure here doesn't mean they could accurately be described as "newbies" as far as experience in hiring goes.

Similarly, "everyone" knows I dig Ryan Steel. Controversies which he says keep him off these discussion pages aside, it's also become clear (to me at least) that another reason he doesn't come on here is because he's so busy putting smiles on clients' faces and earning 5-star review after 5-star review. He's classified as a "Newbie." This particular "Master" looks forward to kneeling before that "Newbie" again soon. ;)
