Don't do it. Having an overnight date with someone you've never met before is highly fraught and may not go well at all. Hire someone who appeals to you for a session instead.

That said, there are various other threads on LA that you can read, such as the one earlier on Visiting LA. Also posters here would be more inclined to help if you were specific about details (the type of man you enjoy meeting, location in LA etc)

I second the recommendation (or is that 'third'?) not to launch into an overnight with someone you don't lnow. Where I would differ is how you work out whether you know them. I have had two overnight meetings with escorts with whom the overnight was my first physical meeting with them. In both cases, my previous contact with them, by phone, email and text, was enough to convince me that I 'knew' them. Both worked out just fine, but my approach is not for the faint hearted, and I suspect I was lucky.

It seems the majority of LA escorts are in WeHo, (West Hollywood) which is NOT freeway close to anywhere so be prepared for a long trek on crowded city streets. Or a steep hotel bill if you stay in the area, which is basically Beverly Hills. Not a problem if money is no object.

I haven't done an overnight either, but my favorite escort in WeHo is @Rod Hagen. A great kisser and all around fine lover and wonderful man. Good luck!

I was reluctant to cite @Rod Hagen as I haven't met him. Likewise for @Hungmixedboi88 who is away at the moment. Public transport is not impossible, I caught buses to and from WeHo, and the subway runs to Hollywood from the rest of LA.

You are right! A combination of buses, light rail and taxis or Uber will get you there, but takes time and planning. The last time I saw Rod Hagen, it took over two hours to cover the 30 miles back to long Beach. It's worth it, just be aware. LA traffic is hideous.

Continuing to mine a couple of existing veins:

I'd underscore the recommendation that you spend some shorter in-person sessions with an escort before booking him for an overnight.

If you're not already aware, Uber is one of your best transpo friends in L.A. @The Dude, you haven't mentioned what else (if anything) you're interested in doing in this great city (Venice? Sunset Strip? Disney Hall and our glorious LA Phil?). Especially if you have other things on your To Do list, I wouldn't necessarily stay in WeHo to purportedly facilitate more/better escort choices. There are plenty of quality options outside the WeHo swath (including yours truly). ;)

Consider making the decision on where you wanna stay first based upon what (else?) you wanna do in our fair city, then winnow your escort choices and consider offering to bring whoever the lucky man is to you via paying for his Uber.

I didn't intend to indicate that WeHo is any more or less entertaining and enjoyable than any other part of The LA Basin. In fact, Nate in LA who is in Long Beach is one of my favorite escorts and people. However, WeHo has so much gorgeous beef crowding the streets that whiplash is practically inevitable. Check out Santa Monica and LA Cienega.

I've always wanted to meet Nate!

Sorry for the off-topic sidebar, gents, but . . .

Heya, @Rod Hagen: Just curious about what experiences you had that led you to preferring Waze over other nav apps. I ask many of my Uber drivers what they prefer and I get varied answers. (And I continue to be frustrated with the way Maps on my iPhone seems to often direct me to the red.) Thoughts/experiences appreciated.

Because of crowdsourcing Waze tends to have accurate data, which is quickly updated. As an example, it warns me when there are cars stopped on the shoulder. I've never had another app do that. That said, Google Maps uses Waze's data, and I generally find it better at re-routing. That combined with Waze's incredibly clumsy attempt to integrate adverts a couple of years ago has pushed me back to Google Maps.

Yeah, waze is great till it takes you on a tour of some neighborhood with speed bumps too boot. They need a feature like stay on major roads. Not every effing side road. That's not a shortcut I need.
