Oh jeeze I hope it was Closer( Fuck you like an Animal) that came on. :D

I don't think I heard any complaints about my music. ;) That being said I think a well thought out playlist can trump most albums played straight through. Granted yes, some artists are able to take you on a journey - sometimes it's not always the right journey for the moment, haha. @Eric Hassan if you want a Spotify account just let me know, I have some extras from doing the family pack. I'd be interested to hear the playlist's you'd put together.

An album that I really enjoy..Lonely Are The Brave my Maverick Sabre.

I have a Spotify account - actually have the family plan as well!! I've thought for a while about creating playlists to share with people - like my 'fuck music' playlist.

One time an escort had mellow electronic music in the background and all of a sudden Nine Inch Nails started to play. Neither of us wanted to stop what we were doing, so it continued playing until our date was over. It wasn't intentional - iTunes screwed up somehow. Have to say, it was a very fun and romantic session.

That said, my preference usually turns to the "chill" station on iTunes, electronic riffs on Gershwin and Cole Porter (I highly recommend those compilations BTW), or the "Afterdark" series of electronic/lounge music.

Well if he bring the Nine Inches, I will be Nailed

My wife grew up listening to classical music, I didn't. So she introduced me to it and I learned a lot. One time before we were married, she put on an orchestral version of Wagner's Prelude and Liebestod from Tristan just as we began to make love. I had never heard it before and the sex was unbelievable. Long build up, rising tension, glorious climax, gentle resolution- I told her it was a musical orgasm. I still think of it that way.

Your wife certainly knew the right piece of classical music for lovemaking!!! Gustav Mahler (a composer of note himself) often conducted Tristan und Isolde since he was a very highly regarded conductor back in the early 1900's. Eyewitness accounts from both orchestra members and audiences of the time claim that when Mahler conducted Tristan, he invariably sported a hard-on, tenting his trousers!

Personally, I prefer the version as Wagner first wrote it, with soprano singing the Liebestod:

Here is an unmatched live performance (with the beginning of the prelude missing) from the Salzburg

Festival in August of 1987 with Herbert von Karajan and that force of nature, Jessye Norman:

(This version really builds to its orgasm, er, climax!!!)
