Over the years, there have been many threads on escort prices. It always comes down to the same results: if you can not afford them, move on; if the escort can not generate business at the higher prices, he will lower them. It is a very pure market of "supply and demand."

I wish you would allow that a lot of people don't have any outlet to discuss escort related topics other than this message board. This is bound to include topics that some others will find not to their liking (like rates). It seems to be very reasonable that clients who are not able to speak to others about this, and see nothing but the Rentmen "Sky High Rates" mentioned above are left confused and wondering what is going on and whether or not this is what everyday normal clients are actually paying for escorts. They should be allowed to have these conversations, and share this information and learn from one another, without being scorned and shamed and silenced. Where else are they supposed to have such frank and honest discussions with like minded individuals?

100% agree, this forum should be a safe environment to discuss about such issues without being judged and be at the receiving end of snarky remarks. On the subject matter, I too noticed the sudden increase of rates in the past two years from a market rate average of $200 to $300. My theory is that when escorts start randomly increasing their rates based on a few sky-high rates posted by porn stars, and customers foolishly entertain these new exorbitant rates, this justifies their increase and thus make that rate a new "norm".

If it is honest discussion about rates, then fine. I find the subject a bit tiresome, but if others want to talk about it, have at it. I have an issue with rate discussions, however, when it feels like clients are hoping to pressure escorts into keeping their rates low, kind of like "bullying them into submission." Although I won't go through the effort of digging them up, I do recall a couple of threads in which if felt like those complaining about high rates or declaring that they would refuse to hire a particular escort who raised his rates were baring their fangs a bit.

 

What piques my curiosity about sky-high rates, like the list @builder boy provided (thanks for that, BTW), is how many clients are out there can afford those rates and how often do they book these "ultraluxury" working guys. Yes, Dario Owen is stunning, with movie-star looks and a body a Men's Fitness cover boy would envy, yet I wonder how many appointments is he booking a week at $500 a pop. How often is a client willing to pay $2500 for an 8-hour overnight or $6000 (yikes!) for a weekend? Since I definitely don't run in South Beach/Manhattan/Malibu circles, it's hard for me to imagine paying that high a rate on a regular basis, even though I know there are plenty of men with plenty of money out there. If I ever got a chance to talk to Dario Owen, I'd get him all liquored up to squeeze that info out of him

I would never judge or shame someone who doesn't want to pay a certain price, but I'd love to get the same consideration back.

You are right of course my friend, but I think a lot of people respond to being shut down with a defensive posture instead of the eloquence they meant to show in asking their question or presenting their point of view. I am sure they have the high $$$ female escorts as well. They probably aren't the ones hitting on patrons on the casino floor, but the ones you call and make reservations with or the concierge arranges for you. Since I don't do that, I only get the ones that hit on me on the casino floor directly-- usually when I am playing a slot machine by myself. As if there's some empirical amount that a session with any given escort is worth. Again, if you can't pay it or if he's not to your taste, move on. It's one thing to say "he's not my cup of tea" but to say that "he's barely worth 200" is crude and presumptuous.

I'm a Rentmen premium member and I can't see weekend rates - you have a different sort of membership???? Some of those you mention don't even indicate their overnight rates, or even hourly costs.

 

I have gladly handed over $1,500 for an overnight (many consecutive within the past year) with one particular fellow and will certainly continue so.

It's the repetitive nature of these conversations that perturbs some of us. It's true that the ultimate answer is to walk away if you feel the price is too high. But maybe we just shouldn't look at them. I usually don't, but "Escort Charges" was just ambiguous enough to pique my curiosity. In today's climate, I thought it might be about a raid or arrests.
