That's pretty impressive to be THAT ageist AND advertising here on Daddys (which is exactly what he is doing). So can one imagine a prospective client sending this escort his stats and then being rejected? That's pretty cold hearted. Merry Christmas, indeed.

 

Well, I'm in my 40s, not a twink, and not a woman, and my stats are pretty good. Although I fit his "requirements", I find such age discrimination quite rude and unattractive. In solidarity to all my older (and beautiful!) senior gay brothers out there, I'll reject this clown myself. Yuck.

Remember, he wants a non-refundable deposit (prepayment) IF you comply with a photo and meet his standards and are accepted as a client.

 

Even though I will be going through DFW in a week, I won't be applying to be accepted by this escort.

 

As was noted, rentmen says he has been advertising since last year. Unless the escort has money to merely throw away on unproductive advertising, he must be doing something right.

Well, if a client read his ad, why would they feel rejected if they knew he was pre-screening and they inquired anyway? Some of the verbage in @TopTierTop 's Rentmen profile was directly suggested by a VERY prominent member of these forum. So bringing up "advertising here on Daddy's" is particularly ironic ;)

 

I've commented on a similar thread elsewhere, he can market himself as he sees fit. If you don't approve, go to the next online ad.

So you are condemning josh for having requirements which the escort did not meet, (Client wants a non-ageist). So by that reasoning, it is okay for the escort to have requirements (being an ageist) but not the client. Was that your intent? Probably not.

 

Every key does not fit every lock. Everyone has their own deal breakers.

When I see an escort putting up barriers like that, I always think that he must have had some REALLY disappointing encounters with clients. He probably went to a lot of prank appointments or was possibly stiffed by non-payment after the 'services' concluded. Sometimes there are reasons why people do things.

 

Having said that, I wouldn't hire him either.

No doubt, it's their business but I think they're in the wrong kind of business based on their attitudes/approach towards a very personal activity that for example 99% of the time involves getting naked with other men.

Honestly, I agree with most everyone how much of a turn off it would be(From a clients perspective).

 

I've had guys from 19-82 Hire me. Short,Tall, Athletic, Average etc etc and what I found what was Important to me was Chemistry and Respect. Not feeling like it was a "Job". Having a great time getting to know someone. I know it sounds cheesy and outdated but I prefer getting to know people.

But @marylander1940 it's just your opinion, clients/escorts don't post every nuance and communication they have together here. I contacted SheldonSC during all the hoopla about his ad, and we continue to text back/forth to this day...even with his expired Rentmen ad he's still definitely in business. Now that said, we haven't worked out a schedule to meet, but I did NOT go through the screening nonsense in his ad, I just reached out with respect, and we started chatting.

 

It's not really your business if they are "in the wrong kind of business". For you as a hiring client ok, maybe not for all of us.

 

As I've said in other postings, if you don't like the tone, number of pics, attitude, (positions!?), etc., move on to the dozens of others that meet your criteria
