Some are still here... but others have come and gone (or so it would seem).

When I was a lurker one of the funniest posts I ever read came from IM Moore. It simply said "Delete Me" that was classic, LOL.

 

I too wonder what happened to Les. I enjoyed many of the pics he had posted.

 

Many of the others I do not recall or am happy are no longer around.

Chrismac still posts occasionally. Will seems to have reoriented his life away from the usual concerns here, as he moves toward retirement and relocation. I used to get private emails from jeejer, then they suddenly stopped--he was married and his wife was unsympathetic to his activity here. And at least one of the names you mentioned is still here under a different handle.

I loved Matt Vancouver. Then I thought that he got overdone. And then he disappeared with only a very occaisional appearance.

Then I loved Derek's Rick. Then I thought that he got overdone. And then he wisely learned, for the most part, when to joke and when not to highjack a thread.

Now junior boy from my home state who always posts his huge face shot. I think he's sweet. But I don't think he's funny and he needs to lose the picture soon before he's overdone.

And I sure would love to see Rick and Matt exchange one liners!

 

And, yes, I myself get overdone sometimes. Then I try to disappear for a while, to wait for a day to see if someone says it better than I was going to. Then I let myself talk for a while. Waves, darlings. Maybe some of the others are doing that. Takes the preassure off.

Thanks Charlie for the update on jeejer. It's nice to know what happened or why someone receeds from the scene rather than having them just drop of the radar screen.

 

As for allansmith63 who I miss, I know that he settled down with a partner and has a full and busy life.
