I think it's a legitimate question. I didn't recognize him, yet I've seen movies with him and used to watch 24.

 

I don't know if it's smoking, but he looks thinner (at least through the face) and more wrinkly than in the past.

Some people age more rapidly facially due to genetics, although smoking (and alcohol) doesn't help, I think. His father, Donald, always looked "mature" and didn't age well. Don't know who mom was. We could tell more if we could see his physical condition. It does seem like yesterday that he was a member of the "wild, Hollywood sons" with Charlie Sheen, Emilio Estevez and others. How do they look?

He is 49 and, to my eye, he does looks older. Maybe drinking and alcohol have indeed taking a toll. I do agree that genetics also have a lot to do with it.

He was also a bit heavier a few years ago. Your skin simply doesn't snap back with weight loss in your 40s like it does for younger people. My brother dropped 70 lbs - 295 to 225 on a 6'4" frame and he looks 5-10 years older now.

That said I know people in their late 30s who look worse.

If a hair transplant is done correctly, now a days, it is nearly undetectable.

The giveaway in most of these people is that they'll have wrinkles that just come to a complete stop at the point of the surgery.
