Absolutely but that's a big part of his success IMO. Most of his roles since Titanic have been older men.

Good point. Then you have a lesser known celebrity like Eric McCormack who is 50+ and looks surprisingly good.

Regarding Leo DiCaprio - I've never considered him a handsome man or understood why so many people are gaga for him. He was a quirky-cute boy who IMO became a not-particularly-attractive adult. Like if he hadn't been a child star he likely never would have been able to break into the business because there were 100s of guys his age better looking.

You're also picking photos of members of a group that is on average the most likely to incur skin damage as they age: light-skinned men, who are the most sensitive to sun damage.

People with whose hair and skin are oily age better than those whose hair and skin are dry. There's no one group that has a monopoly on this, but this tends to favor Asians. Dark-skinned Africans may have more protection against the sun than others, but their skin and especially their hair tends to be dry, leaving them somewhere in the middle on average. Those with the lightest skin tones are at a disadvantage, although oily skin and hair help. Asians, who generally have oily skin and hair, fare well until age or health conditions catch up with them. They also do their utmost to avoid sun exposure, mostly because it's associated with menial labor and is thus considered declasse.

Think about it. Aren't the men who come to mind whose faces look like miles of rough road mostly of Northern European descent?

Asians also generally have more more fat in their faces and then there's the ol.. "black don't crack" saying.

Some photographic proof:

1280px-Kim_Chang-wan_%28cropped%29.jpg

Kim Chang Wan, musician and actor, age 62. As far as I can tell, he's not known to have had plastic surgery or a hair transplant.

Sorry for embedding video of the hour-plus long music show Yu Huiyeol's Sketchbook, but it contains video of the host himself, who is 45, and of Kim Chang Wan (62, as mentioned above), that can be accurately dated. Kim Chang Wan is the first musician in the lineup.

Seo_Taiji_on_October_20%2C_2014_%282%29.jpg

Seo Taiji, first Kpop artist and founder of Kpop as a genre, also called the President of Culture, photographed in 2014 at age 42

Clip of him performing on Yu Huiyeol's Sketchbook in 2014.

For comparison purposes, clip of the second music video for "Nan Arayo" ("I Know") by Seo Taiji and Boys, the very first Kpop song ever and a huge hit, recorded in 1992, when Taiji was 20.

Look at 'em and weep (or wonder where the deteriorating portrait is hidden).

Oh Seo taiji! Brings back so much fond memories from HS... Blasting our Kpop with our windows rolled down, cruising in our Daewoo through suburbia, thinking we all gangsta and sh!t...:rolleyes::rolleyes:

And who can forget H.O.T?

Although I've heard of them, I don't know what H.O.T. sounded or looked like back then or now. Other than Seo Taiji, my knowledge starts with TVXQ/DSBK, and only because I've seen the MV for "Mirotic" and heard 2/3 of Epik High hilariously mangle it in karaoke form for the birthday of the third member (on a radio show, no less).

I have to say the white boys at the gym I go to(which is in Hoboken and has a lot of Wall Street guys who pay a bit more attention to grooming than most guys do) seem to be stepping up their moisturizing game and I see much more youthful-looking late-30s/eraly 40s white guys than I used to. The much lower smoking rate is probably helping as well.

By enlisting a talented and competent plastic surgeon and ask the surgeon to perform a hair transplant.

If a hair transplant is done correctly, now a days, it is nearly undetectable.

I want one then! I'll take brads picture and tell them I want that hairline exactly:)

Lol, no worries Caliguy...you too can have your dream face

Just visit the right surgeon cuz otherwise this could happen...

trump81.jpg

The first one yes. The second one I imagine could be done though. Just bring in a picture of an orangutan and maybe a clown for your plastic surgeon and say you want that. That or just go to Jocelyn Wildensteins surgeon and tell him to go for it.

If it weren't for the fact that handsome men make my tallywacker take notice, I'd wonder if I were gay. I can't tell you how bewildered I am by all the facial/hair product, gels, and creams that the majority of escorts and multiple play buddies that I've met possess. Possibly part of the problem is that I've been mostly bald for over 27 years, so not a lot of need for styling mousse.

I don't know if my knowledge extends much past this ad.

But I am 'good for the whole day';)

You reminded me of a three-day weekend I spent with one of my regulars. We got to our very remote cabin and began to unpack. Then I heard what sounded like a Yelp. he had turned pale and got very upset. He turned to me with a look of panic...I started thinking omg...things are not good. He then proceeded to bemoan forgetting to pack his $25 hairspray can. It literally took me a few minutes to grasp the concept that someone would buy such an expensive hairspray product ...hell...it took me longer to understand he expected us to go into town to find said product! After spending hours affirming him that his hair looked flawless, he proceeded to wear a baseball cap for the rest of the weekend. Being the evil person that I am, I hid his cap every time he showered. :D
