Seriously, a conviction is evidence of one incident at one time, and shouldn't be used by itself as a reason not to hire an escort or for an escort to decline a client. What the conviction was for and whether it fitted into a wider pattern is more important than the one conviction.

I always say when people ask me certain types of questions, or if I have certain questions in my mind:

Unless you just happened to stumble on the information because a parole visit slip fell out of his pocket, I would hazard that you were looking up the info. Something triggered you to look up the info, and therefore, your sense that something isn't right was already on notice. Therefore, on this particular individual pass.

 

However, that being said...I actually worry about the criminal records and histories of clients MUCH more than escorts. You don't last long as an escort if you are an active criminal.

I come from a different perspective. I'm the client who is the convicted felon. I spent 2yrs and eight months in prison. When I hired for the first time my escort did a background check on me! We still laugh today about orange not being my color, and how being in handcuffs and ankle cuffs made me feel quite at home, LOL.

This question has so many variables to it. A few of them...the severity of the crime, was the crime repeated, how long ago was the crime committed? The other factor along with the severity of the crime is how old is the escort? The likelihood of an escort being and 20 or 30 something and committing a severe crime is pretty low. Another thing is if you stick to escort rent sites, and mostly hire off these, you have another built safety factor. All in all, I'm glad my escort let me hire him!!!
