Would be great to get an idea of where peeps are staying so we can all be close by each other. Sharing cabs or ubers would be great. Seems like driving would be a bad idea :)

I've always thought of Palm Springs as a small, desert village. Car sharing does make a visit to Palm Springs easier and cheaper. I've never been there without a car, so I don't know what it's like to rely on other services.

For me, the temptation to never leave the resort is strong, especially if the hosts are known for serving cocktails, which several do. I've often questioned whether a car was worth the cost, until you experience a rainy day. I think the desert offers some interesting places to explore with a car.

Many gay hotels are within walking distance of each other. If you stay near Warm Sands, you can do a resort tour with no car. Helios is only 2-and-a-half miles from Triangle Inn. There are plenty of gay resorts scattered in between. Many resorts offer bicycles.

April is a sell-out month, so there will be tons of men at each resort, no matter where you stay. Many gay resorts allow daily visitors to mingle with the guests. The atmosphere is very convivial. It's very easy to meet good-looking, interesting men without stepping too far from your room.

I hear you, brother! I've thought the same thing, but as @corymonroe said above, PS isn't that big. Based on 2016, the combination of bicycles, taxis, Uber, guys with cars (I'll have mine) and feet is adequate to get us all from point A to point B. As far as coordinating where we stay.....? Everybody has different needs and expectations and budgets, and the weekend flies by so quickly that there is precious little time for hanging around one's hotel. I would encourage those who wish, to share where they are staying when they book. I am staying at INNdulge in the Warm Springs area. I'm looking forward to meeting you @klifhangar!

Glennnn makes an excellent point. The weekend just seems to fly by. There usually isn't much time to simply chill out around a pool. About the only time when something isn't going on is during the mornings on Saturday and Sunday. The Saturday evening dinner has been at Trio, in the past, and I don't assume that is likely to change for 2017. The Sunday Pool Party has changed location a number of times. The last two years it was at a private residence and that will possibly change in 2017. If that is indeed the case the new location might actually be nearer to the Warm Springs area. After both the Saturday dinner and the Sunday pool party there are usually additionally optional group activities that most participants enjoy. Many of us will arrive with cars and will be more than willing to provide transportation for those who don't. As the entire world knows those of us from Southern California are wedded to our automobiles.

BTW: I spoke to Tim (of NYC's Adonis Lounge) briefly last week when I hit their monthly nude party. I asked him about his plans for the new weekly Palm Spring shows and mentioned that a few of us from the Forum might be in town next spring. Tim said that, if their PS launch goes as well as they hope, Adonis might be able to do a special/popup on the weekend we're in town. I was emphatic that ours was a casual, private, discreet gathering. Tim seemed to understand that even as he clearly appreciated the potentially mutual benefits of having a show while we're in town. We agreed to consult further in a few months. SO. FYI.

I am staying at Inndulge--look forward to meeting you glennn. The week I stayed in PS a couple years back, I found a car would have been convenient (all those really long blocks to walk with nothing to look at except stucco walls around each resort community.) Then I discovered the bus which is cheap and convenient for getting from Warm Sands into the downtown area and other places, if one is not an avid walker. I had forgotten from my SoCal days that walking anywhere is, as the Parisians would say, "Il est tout simplement pas fait." Jogging, however, is socially acceptable. I have recently become a fan of Uber, and I am happy to carpool.

One of the most appealing aspects of the Palm Springs Weekend is that it has allowed a group of clients and escorts from THIS SITE to join together for a fun filled weekend. We MUST all be very careful NOT to open this event up to outside sources. If and when that happens many who attend, myself included, will take flight and abandon the event. I am totally opposed to seeing it advertised and promoted in forums other than this one.

Perhaps we could rent a trolley pub like this to get around town... of course in addition to serving beer, there would have to be a couple of gogo boys dancing on the bar...

I have the opportunity to stay at Helios couple of years ago, Inndulge two years ago and last year at Santiago Men's Resort. Inndulge is a wonderful hotel and I thought the rooms were very spacious and the place is well maintained. However, they have required a 4 night stay, I was only planning on two nights last year and so I stayed at Santiago Resort http://santiagoresort.com/ They only require a 2 night minimum. I have booked them again this year. King room pool side for $212/night. It is a smaller place. It does have a good blend of tree shade and sun which I liked a lot for my winter white skin's first appearance of the season.

They two outstanding hammocks which easily fit two and were great to relax in. The breakfast offered was great too. So there is another option for those interested in coming out. I did notice I could not book on Expedia as those available there were gone but if you go to hotel website directly they still had rooms.

But I would agree with the rest, rooms are going quickly. There is a 72 hour cancellation policy for Santiago so you can get your money back, but you do have to pay a one night deposit.

This will be my 3rd year going and if you have even thought about as a distant idea, go for it. It is a very nice time for all and the dinner on Saturday is so well done and professionally handled, it is really something every person comes to the forum or writes or reads reviews should attend. It is great to meet the people behind the names. You meet gentlemen in a casual and inviting environment that you don't get he opportunity to do too often. Oliver is the just he best host around! So please join us this is one of those times it really is the more the merrier. I have no idea who I will be bringing in 2017 but it will be a good time no matter who.

I'm so delighted to see so much enthusiasm and chatter about the PS Weekend here. Make a commitment now by getting a reservation and putting it on your calendar. Far easier to back out later than it is to try to jump in at the last minute.

@Epigonos - not sure if the concerns you raise are about the Adonis thing. So before you take flight (with those legendary deviled eggs), please know that I've been clear (and will continue to be emphatic) that all I'm doing is letting him (meaning Tim, who is a member of the Forum) know that a few Forum folks are planning to be in PS on a particular weekend next spring (no dates have been mentioned), and that some of us might be interested in hitting an Adonis event should one be happening. That. Is. All.

Hey Klifhanger the Sunday afternoon Pool Party is the event where the booze flows. Since I spend most of my time in the kitchen I make a point of not drinking thus I will commit to be your designated driver. Plan on drinking all you want and I'll drive you back to your hotel.

Ok guys here is the traditional order of organized events:

Saturday -- Early dinner (about 5). In the past this dinner has been held at Trio and will likely be held there again unless our host (Oliver) decides otherwise. Dress is resort dressy-casual. After dinner everybody goes their own way in groups or as individuals. Some guys go gambling at the Casino, some go to a local bar, and some go back to their hotels to "play" with the escort-guests they have brought. All guests (clients and escorts) are free to come stag or as a couple.

Sunday -- Pool Party (starts about 1). Our host (Oliver) picks the venue. The venue has always been a private residence with a large backyard and pool. Dress is casual in the extreme -- in some cases that means nothing. The escort eye candy can be dazzling. There is always tons of finger food and a never ending supply of booze. Margaritas have become the featured drink but there is just about anything else one could ask for. All food and alcohol is provided gratis by Oliver and his assistants. All guests need to bring is themselves prepared to have a good time.

Sunday -- After the Pool Party Dinner (starts whenever). Oliver's number one assistant (Jason) picks a restaurant and all are welcome to attend. Dress is casual and it is no host. Frankly it is a nice way to finish up a great weekend.

Those who arrive early and/or depart late frequent announce their willingness to get together for breakfast, lunch or dinner on Thursday, Saturday or Monday.

I hope this gives some of you newbies an idea of what to expect. Your only expectation should be to HAVE A GREAT FUN FILLED WEEKEND.

Klifhangar a couple of additional comments. You might be able to find something cheaper than $200-$300 a night if you look at some of the low and medium priced non-gay motel chains.

Yes Karaoke has become increasingly popular with some of the guys after dinner Sunday evening. Ace/Las Vegas leads the group and does an outstanding job. Additionally he has a great singing voice.

I would definitely NOT leave before Monday as the Sunday evening end of weekend dinner is a nice ending to the festivities. I stay with a friend and usually leave on Tuesday morning -- the major reason being that I arrange some strenuous play time with Ace Banner and Tyler Saint on Monday morning and, at my age, need the extra time to recover.

I didn't make it to Chill for the Adonis Lounge show this past Thursday, but I talked to someone at Canyon Club the next day who was there, and he said the shows are actually going to be there every Thursday, not every other Thursday as was previously reported. Secondhand news, I know, but I hope it's true!

That should be Sunday, not Saturday. And yes, karaoke at Spurline is always one of the highlights of the PS weekend for me! So much fun.
