BOOOOO!.......nothing Taylor has posted here indicates he is a douchebag, or is presenting himself as one.....grumpy, grouchy posts like yours are part of the reason this board has a rep for chasing away well-respected escorts who, otherwise, could be a valuable part of the forum.....jesus, man, don't take it so seriously!

Yeah, but @jjkrkwood is right this time

We all like to have fun, and joking and teasing are fine, HOWEVER, isn't it better to be helpful and supportive here rather than to resort to name calling and to tear someone down based on...well, based on what? On the positive side, over 1000 people have now looked at this guy's ad who otherwise probably would not have. As they say, there is no bad publicity (except sometimes.) Also, you can never please everyone, and who would want to.

Hmm…maybe I should start playing around with my prices and get folks to flock over my profile to figure out what all the fuss is about. There's no such thing as bad publicity, right? :D

I'm also fairly new (less than 1 year in the business), but for what it's worth coming from me, welcome to escorting and to the forum, @TaylorREIGNXXX

OK azdr, i'll let his cocky comments on the first page slide, and chalk it up to beginners jitters. Everyone deserves a second chance. As for well respected escorts being driven away by negative comments, NAH ! They usually leave because the business they get from the site isnt worth the time they need to spend here to get those gigs. And if you have read my posts, you know I dont take very much seriously, so I wasnt be grouchy nor grumpy, just responding to comments I perceived as having a simplistic arrogance. If I was wrong, I am not too big to apologize. Time will tell.

People flock to your profile because you came here with a quiet innocence. You didnt burst on the scene like a "wrecking ball".... You participated and tried to assimilate yourself, not give us alot of shock and awe... And people take you seriously. Please keep in mind that this might not be the best outlet for a "twink type" to thrive. The gentlemen here are usually into a different type of playmate.

I actually agree with @jjkrkwood and @MikeBiDude. I thought @TaylorREIGNXXX's inital posts (all on page 1) were borderline arrogant and sarcastic. But, I chocked it up to nerves or youth. I'm very used to 20-somethings being overly confident--Baby Boomer's made SURE Millennials were self confident--but his tone changed quite a bit in later posts. So, I alluded to "branding" in my previous post and figured Taylor was more than savvy enough to do as he wished without alienating potential clients.

Interesting. I certainly enjoy @FTM_Twink's posts. I've never thought about this forum "not be[ing] the best outlet for a 'twink type' to thrive." Is there another such forum for such professionals or perhaps is there something we as a community should be doing to be more welcoming, supportive, and helpful?

If you pvt msg me, we can discuss options. Historically the members of this site tend to lean toward a more "mature" and "macho" kind of guy, lending themselves more to a beefy or muscular body type. However, many are open to experimenting, and that's where personality will tip the scales....

This Forum, I'd like to say as a lurker for a while, is supremely cliquish and seldom accepting of another poster. Whether that acceptance is the poster's newbie-ness, their opinion or what.

You see the same members lhitting the like button of their clique which is okay.............but also degrading en masse anyone who might have a new out-of-the-norm idea.

Plus, ignoring newbies if they start a post because it's not begun by one of the regs.

I'm sure I'll be blasted for this opinion of mine but it seems to be the case on this forum. Sorry.

And like I said I'm new here but some of you are really hateful and arrogant, just saying. I realize this is supposedly an "anonymous" forum, we all have fake names, avatars, etc. But goddamn. it sometimes sure ain't pretty, boys.

Points taken, and I will agree with the part that there is a handful of regular posters who seem to dominate with posting (myself being one of those apparently). But I do believe many of the members are open minded and welcoming, but opinionated, and passionate about Their own opinions. I dont think the newbies give it enough of a chance. they tend to make snap judgements, instead of sticking around and actually participating. Participation is the one thing that bonds us. It helps us get to know each other, or at least to form an opinion of one another. You may like some folk, and not like others, and that will guide your path. You mention being a lurker on here for some time. Fair enough, but then your inital post here is "negative" and "critical" right off the bat.. People dont like to be scolded... at least not right away (or without a paddle) :p and of course the names are Fake, They are screen names, but if you stick around long enough you could learn our REAL names. I am Alyn BTW...

Philly, thanks for the comment. I'm pretty new to this forum too and though I've posted quite a bit in a fairly short time. I've been pleasantly surprised by the support I've received both in the forum and via private message. Things do get quite heated sometimes, especially in the political subforum, but I tend to just ignore or disengage when I feel like it's no longer productive. I'm already quite surprised how much time I've put into this forum and I don't have mental or emotional space for additional drama caused by a forum of anonymous avatars. Reagrdless, I do feel like generally speaking, there are many very good people here and I'm glad I found this place and have been accepted by most, so far.

This can be a rough crowd and some members occasionally delight in belittling and taunting others, inflicting pain intentionally or otherwise. I recall a guy in elementary school who used to bully me and, when finally called on it by a teacher, his response was "Aww - I was just joking around." I think the difference is that he was shamed into stopping bullying (me, anyway). Shame in an anonymous forum is a little more elusive. "If you can't say something nice then come sit next to me" sounds allot like "Awww, I was just joking around".

For this forum that becomes important because a perceived hostile environment prevents those without the sharp shoulders from participating and sharing valuable insights. Two (2) companions I have talked to face-to-face and for whom I've submitted reviews in the last 9 months have told me that they won't post on this forum because they don't want to jeopardize any business.

I've been guilty of being a little rough on no-shows. for example, and somewhat regret some of the comments I've made about them. I'm going to try to tone that down a little.

After reading the four pages of this thread just now, I'll take a guess as to why all the negativity toward Taylor. Apparently, he started with an eye-popping price of $1000/hour, then $500, and now it's $400. Despite all the attacks that Taylor's a cocky, arrogant douchebag, I don't see anything in his posts on the first page that lead me to that conclusion. I think forum members just freak the f*ck out whenever a new escort charges anything above $300, mostly out of fear that the escort will actually get that rate. And if one escort can do it, maybe others will start raising their rates, then some more, and uh oh ... in response, some clients come here and bare their fangs in order to subdue the most recent attempt to raise prices.

Taylor, you are super wicked HAWT!! Very handsome, amazing body, great package - the works! I tend to hire for evenings, and with your overnight rate a quite reasonable $1200, I'd love to hire you next time I'm in Seattle (although who knows when that'll be). I don't think your pricing is at all unreasonable. It sounds like you'd prefer multi-hour hires, as opposed to one-hour quickies. Hey, whatever works for you. It just so happens that that's how I like my hires as well, and plenty of other clients share the preference.

Best of luck to you in this new venture of escorting. The more beautiful gents like you who decide to take the plunge, the better for us on the client side. Welcome aboard!

PS: a bit of hopefully helpful advice - are the tattoos permanent or henna? In only one picture in your Rentmen ad, you appear to have tattoos whereas none appear in the other pictures. You're all "made up" in the tattoo photo, which made me wonder if they're henna. You might want to clarify in your Rentmen ad because you'll find that a lot of clients, or at least a lot of board members, have a very strong distaste for tattoos.

I'm non-confrontational. I'd rather brush shit off and respond with something funny to show I'm cool with it; raised. No sense getting bent over the little things. ^_^

BSR: No that's body painting for the photoshoot. I'm a body painter so we wanted it to help represent that for the posters. And thanks man!

Jawjatecks advice is excellent. I am obviously one of the frequent posters here and a member of “the clique”. I generally "try" to be measured and fair in my responses. I did, however, go ballistic on one issue last year.

Maybe the fact that I was a high school teacher for over thirty years forced me to grow a thick skin. One cannot work with teenagers for that many years and be sensitive. Over the years I have been fortunate to meet and become friend with a number of frequent posters and fellow “clique members” here. I have also come to know and appreciate other frequent posters and fellow “clique member” who I have not been fortunate enough to meet. Now for my key question: Why should I give a flying fuck what some anonymous poster on this site who I do not know and who does not know me thinks of me? If, for example, poster XYZ posts that I am a STUPID, ASSHOLE, FUCKING FAGGOT so what? Why should I waste my time caring about his/her opinion? I let it go and move on and I, not so humbly, recommend that other here do the same.
