I can't believe some of you guys.... If chunky does not bother you then why hire? Just find some free fun. In my experience, average/chunky guys are free, easier to arrange hook-ups with, and plentiful. When I feel like paying, I pay for bodies that took hard work in the gym to attain and an experience I probably could not get for free... at least not without a ton of effort.

Some of us older, overweight guys don't find it as easy to hook up with someone, chunky or otherwise, as perhaps you do. If it is easy for you to meet guys for sex, more power to you. Also, consider that some of us just might find a variety of body types sexy. If all you are interested in hiring are super fit muscle guys with perfect bodies, then by all means go with whatever turns you on. Stick with what you like, but don't look down your nose at people who may have tastes quite different from your own. Even the most casual perusal of the ads on Rent.men or the comments on this forum should make it obvious that there is a huge variety of guys out there catering to a wide range of tastes. I can't believe that I should have to explain this.

The word 'chunky' itself isn't the most flattering term to come across when you discover you're being described. He probably should have not messaged you at all or at least been a little more professional. Using 'a few extra lbs.' or 'stocky' might get a different response. And whatever you do, don't use the word HUSKY.

I was trying to be kind in my initial comments - sorry I didn't think to use the word "husky." His juvenile email to me speaks for itself, so I have no need to pile on. But of course if he wanted to prove me wrong he could post a torso pic (side view) holding a recent newspaper. ; )

let's get one thing straight here. Tenderloin and I have hung out multiple times. So if I'm so gross then why do you always come back for more. The last time we saw each other you told me how handsome i was and then within 5 minutes of getting into the room, you shot your load. You're a spiteful little bitch because i didnt have time to cuddle with you for a half hour even though i had told you beforehand that i had plans that night (my friend's birthday). you still decided to show up later than you had said. If anyone would like to see my body, i'm more than willing to skype or facetime. I have nothing to hide. I have perfect reviews and they're recent. It's funny how I'm looking at our texts "Tenderloin" and you're telling me how obsessed you are with me... like i said, he's spiteful because of that one night that i couldn't stay with him. What a fucking baby. I feel like I have a right to be upset because he is making false statements that affect my life. I am on RM so I can support myself until I finish school. I don't know what kind of person would try to destroy someone's life because they didn't get enough attention. Tenderloin, you are a sad person. I hope you get the help you need.

@tenderloin Your initial comments were just fine. Judging from the Rent Men photos, I could easily see him becoming a bit chunky - and that doesn't have to be taken as a negative. Thank you for sharing his email jab. This forum is a great resource and I don't like hearing an insecure lurker used it as an excuse to insult a client.

@Medjock My post wasn't intended to be a shot at you. If you want to post a photo, cool. Putting up a text exchange is over the top. But no, you're not chunky; you have a solid fit average 20something body. I think the word choice of "chunky" may have pushed your buttons, because it sounded like "fat". To some people it might mean solid and good to cuddle with. In either case, I think your response here was an overreaction.

@Harvey, No not an over reaction because I only found out about this thread after a client changed his mind about hanging out because he thought my pictures were inaccurate. He sent me the link to this. This was all done out of spite and honestly i think it's slander. I have never had a negative thing said about me until now.

I was referring to myself about the use of the words and which ones are easiest on my ears if I'm being described. For some of us in the 'few extra pounds' or 'stocky' or whatever word someone uses, "Husky" is how it all began.

I don't know the full history you and Tenderloin have and don't need to. It's more about your choice of words/actions when responding and how you want people to perceive you. If you and TL got together several times that might mean you're a decent guy. It's unfortunate this is what brought you to the forum but hopefully you'll come back and we can get to know you better and vice versa.

On a side note: I have yet to find a Native New Englander who can tell me which way is North.

 

HORSEPUCKY!!! I grew up in the Pioneer Valley of Western Massachusetts and always knew where I was in relation to the Connecticut River and north was always upstream. It's here in hot flat very south Texas that I sometimes get a bit disoriented.

I like big men in general. The "big" can be from muscle, or because he's tall or because he's a little "chunky."

I'd be a little pissed too if someone who was mildly obsessed with me said I was "chunky" in a public forum.

 

Nonetheless, I think you shot yourself in the foot with your first response and the posting of a private text.

 

If you had just posted that pic of you holding a sign with today's date....you would have won by a mile....and come off looking like a star.

I can't believe I'm wading into this mess, and I know I sound a bit naive, but maybe we can try remembering that escorts are real human beings with feelings? On the one hand we can do great things like help out fellow forum members when they're in need, but (and I'm not necessarily referring to this instance) I've seen escorts called ugly, fat, dumb and God knows what else here. Imagine what it would be like to see yourself described in that way - and there's really no point in it since different people have totally different ideas on what beauty means. I could care less what people say about me in terms of looks, but my livelihood doesn't depend on it. If an escort pulls a knife on you or threatens your life that's worth pointing out to others, but outside of that if someone doesn't meet your needs just don't see them again. Funny aside - I kind of wish that he was chunky, since that's actually a huge plus in my book.
