Very interesting. I was never aware of a frog protection/preservation organization.

It is an endangered species and she was aware of it. It took time to make the arrangements, but it seems most of the cost was voluntary. I have tried saving wild animals that have come across my path. In fact I started a thread about saving a turtle on the street which angered my friend who was then late for a haircut. Compassion for animals is a great quality.

I have rescued a great number of dogs and kittens. I've also rehabbed a chipmunk. I agree that compassion for animals is a great quality and a complete lack of the same is concerning. I am just a bit astounded that someone did this for a frog. It could have easily died afterwards and I bet they have very short lifespans anyway. Maybe they are hoping it will breed and help replenish it's kind?
