Question for clients: do you hire mostly escorts advertising? Have any of you hired a guy who flew under the radar? As in the guy isn't advertising but could be hired if you knew how to contact him.

All of my hires have been from postings (ads) on one of the escort sites. Primarily I have used rentmen and rent boy.

My first hire was from an ad. He has since taken his ad down, but we still meet. I'd be open to hiring someone who flew under the radar if I knew how to contact him. That said, I would still want photos and a brief phone conversation to determine if there is a connection before the meet.

I hired a stripper from the old Swinging Richards in FL - no ad. Also hired someone from a classified ad from the free mag HotShots in Ft L - just a small ad.

BTW really liked the latter; I've seen him a couple of times. The former was very handsome but no chemistry.

Most of my experience hiring have been from street cruising back in Buenos Aires. In 2002 I moved to USA and I did not hire until a couple of years ago. Here in the US 99% of my experiences have been a combination of ads and friends/forum members recommendations. The other 1% is from strippers clubs.

I would love to have an escorts bar in DC, but I can handle pretty well the online market.

I have, but both came as referrals from escorts I do business with. One was retired but seeing clients occasionally, the other was someone who wanted to start but he wasn't sure, so my regular wanted him to start with a "good" client - whatever that means! Maybe it's because I don't snore?

My only non-advertising hires have been from dancers at the club; after a private dance that went very well, I've asked if they ever see people outside the club.

I hired somebody from an ad with no picture before the Internet became the advertising medium of choice for escorts. It turned out great.

Years ago a good friend who lived in NYC knew just about every guy who was working in the City wether or not they had an ad or not. We were not into the same scene, but he would always enquire for me and as such I did end up hiring a few guys who were mostly under the radar. However, they were vetted by someone in whom I had a lot of trust so there was never a problem. When my friend moved down south he basically retired from hiring with an exception or two for a special occasion. Consequently I lost my connection to anything under the radar. However, that was a number of years ago. In today's world I can't imagine anyone of those guys not putting up an ad somewhere.

In this country I used rentboy in the past and rentmen now to locate escorts. Once I find a guy who interests me I look for reviews here. If he doesn't have any reviews I "usually" move on.

In both Acapulco and Puerto Vallarta Mexico I have hired strippers right off the bars in the clubs in which they were stripping. All have worked out extremely well and I wouldn't hesitate to hire again under similar circumstances.

For the better part of 25 years I hired off escort sites, well except for my days cruising Santa Monica Blvd ...nowadays I hire strictly out of the strip clubs. After sampling the goods, no need to worry about pics, age shaving, or whether or not the guy showing up hasn't put on 30 pounds, and I already know that he will perform...All the drama is alleviated.

 

Most of the guys at the clubs do fly under the radar. They very often don't want the other dancers to know that they escort on the side, though for the right incentive, most of the guys are willing to...

Does anyone remember Numbers restaurant/lounge in LA? I never went but heard it was an escort hangout.

Yes I remember Numbers. It was located upstairs in a building overlooking Santa Monica Blvd. in the heart of West Hollywood. Originally the food was good and the atmosphere pleasant. It was actually quite nice and not in the least sleazy. The escorts hung out at the bar in the front. The eye candy was, more often than not, stunning and it was definitely available for hire. The first HooBoy event I ever attended was a dinner there about twelve or thirteen years ago. There were only six or eight of us present plus a couple of escorts. Believe it or not it was, at that dinner, where I met Oliver for the first time and we soon became good friends. That evening I also met a young escort, named Scott Adler, who I began to see on a regular basis. Eventually the places changed handed hands and the rent was increased and from that point on it was all down hill. Damn it really was a great venue -- too bad it is no longer with us.
