I hate schlepping stuff around so, for me, it's le minimum: iPhone, and a little cash.

Same...I like to travel light also.

Keys and cell phone only for short hauls.

I have a sliding wallet attached to the back of my cell. There is enough room for credit/debit card, ID, and a few hundred dollars folded and slide behind the cards..Easy peezy.

The minimum. Wallet, keys, glasses, and phone. I've headed to the airport with not much more than that.

And I learned a few years ago what it's like to suddenly be "out there" without the wallet.

I'd driven to a conference in Phoenix. On my way out of town I stopped at a gas station to fill the tank, and then went in to grab a cup of coffee and a bottle of water. Somehow I managed to leave my wallet on the counter and next noticed when I pulled into a gas station in the Palm Springs area and had no way to buy gas.

Fortunately I'd been sloppy about cash and had dumped ALL of the change from drive-through windows into my car's console compartment. I managed to assemble $13 in quarters, which got me home.

Wallet goes to #1 on the list. :D

I have a case that was meant as a diabetic carry case with elastic bands for syringes and assorted other diabetic materials. I am not diabetic so I converted it into a carrying case which is just the same size as my cell phone. I have a business card case which fits in and has my license, health insurance card and my one credit card. My keys are attached to zipper on the case. So in essences, I am carrying one case the size of my cellphone. When I am driving, the whole case hangs from the keys.

I was surprised how long it took for someone to pick up on my quote. Glad it was you.

Well! I first discovered the infamous Leatherman multi tool many years ago when I was doing a search for The Leatherman the equally infamous shop in NYC for all things leather and BDSM!

So when I saw your post I could not resist commenting! Incidentally as far as not leaving home with out it, I would actually settle for any Leatherman with a tool! ;)

As such this guy would do:

The handgun is a little scary ... but, then again, an escort in Orlando carries one (concealed).

Not so scary....I carry a gun, although I do it as open carry (North Carolina allows open carry). If you have ever been around the area around Ft Bragg, you know why one should be carrying a gun.

Should someone tell this unfortunate stud that you use the other end of the bat?

Unfortunate??? We should all be so "unfortunate"! But I know that this is a "difficult" room to work, so...

And just to cover all the bases regarding bats:

Sitting in a University hospital in Chicago and their wifi access blocks the second pic link but not the first one. So glad they are protecting my delicate eyes from such pictures.
