Happy birthday to one of our long standing posters. Just how long and just how firmly standing I have no idea but he certainly brings a special panache to this place

Happy birthday to one of our long standing posters. Just how long and just how firmly standing I have no idea but he certainly brings a special panache to this place

 

Aw shucks guys. Thanks. Just got back from the gym where I was trying to pretend I'm 27 rather than the other way around. Fortunately the cardio machine brought me back to reality since adding a digit to my age did little to the result.

 

So I'm spending a good part of this special day with good friends here whilst listening to Jimmie Levine's final performance as musical director on the Met. Life is indeed very good.
