I don't think I'll wait for King Cobra to go to video when it comes out. It's that movie about the porn murder, with Garrett Clayton starring as Brent Corrigan's character....

So does former Disney star Garrett Clayton look like Brent Corrigan?

Garrett Clayton (born March 19, 1991 in Dearborn, Michigan) is an American actor, singer, and dancer. He began his career at Crestwood High School in Dearborn Heights, Michigan, performing in many of the drama club's productions. He is best known for portraying Tanner in Teen Beach Movie, a Disney Channel Original Movie, directed by Jeffrey Hornaday, and the role of Blake in the Lifetime movie Holiday Spin, co-starring Ralph Macchio.

Also stars James Franco and Keegan Allen as--who the hell cares?

Any other Brent Corrigan fans out there?

I'm sure he'll come up with a book.

His book is supposedly coming out soon...good timing with the movie. According to Brent, he was offered but turned down a bit part in the movie. http://www.towleroad.com/2015/10/brent-corrigan-turned-down-role-in-james-francos-gay-murder-movie-king-cobra/

Brent has definitely matured over the years and I enjoy his porn work.

I remember years ago having some preliminary plans to hire Harlow Cuadra.....very scary.

"... Corrigan also posted on Twitter saying he has “no interest” in playing himself in “any movie” and that the reason why he declined to be involved in any way with the film will become apparent “when you see the film.”

He also took a shot at the casting of Disney actor Garrett Clayton to play him. According to Corrigan, Clayton does not look young enough and “doesn’t embody [murdered porn producer] Brian [Kocis]’s preference for not legal boys.”

I'm sure he's not portrayed in a nice way and possibly that's why he turned down the offer, good for him. Kocis bought Corrigan was 18, if not he wouldn't have hired him to film porno.

Thank you for posting, I hope the movie is successful as long as it doesn't create a new stereotype about gays and porno.

Other than Tribeca. will it be able to be seen anywhere else? Will it go directly to vidoe? I can't seem to find anything on line about where it might be seen.

Very often independent films are shown at a festival in hopes of making a distribution deal, so it's possible the future of this one is not yet worked out.

Oh please. This is all about the money. He wanted more money then they were willing to give. This movie was done on a shoestring budget done over a few days though.

Now he's out pimping his own book while using the movie to boost sales. Meanwhile he's complaining about how the producers are so unfair to him. They're not telling the real story ie the version he wants you to hear.

The lady doth protest too much me thinks.

I hope it's a lot better than what James Franco was able to produce when he decided to make a film about the final days of Sal Mineo. Sal was a terribly boring film considering its subject matter.

Damn! Netflix knows me eerily too well. I put in on my queue (under "Saved," since there is no known release date), and it said that its best prediction for how I would like it was 5*! It didn't even hedge its bet to say 4.9 *, just 5*. I guess I really am that predictable. I don't remember that they've ever guessed a full 5* for me before. Maybe they read these forums and know my secret identity? I'm sure even the NSA knows what movies get me going....

In the latest issue of PrideSource, 25-year-old actor Garrett Clayton unpacks his feelings about playing Brent Corrigan in Justin Kelly’s long-awaited King Cobra (in theaters and On Demand starting October 21). After discussing his contractually mandated butt shot, his favorite Brent Corrigan scene, and how one prepares for such a role, he surprisingly refuses to divulge his own sexuality to the interviewer, believing that “it just distracts” from his work.

Has anyone seen it yet? I’m planning to watch it tomorrow night. I guess we all know how it ends, but I assume that further discussion by those who’ve seen it should be embargoed until it has been in wider distribution? What’s the policy here on spoilers? Is that in the TOS?
