It's a slow week on the forum without the usual hullabaloo of locked threads, so I figured we should start a thread dedicated to how much we love The Container Store. I know at least three of you who love The Container Store, so this thread should gain some traction.

YES, the Container Store is imperative for saving all that shit you are ultimately gonna throw out . Once its in a Container, you never use it !

Addicted. And one just opened here (finally). No more driving to another state. Always spend way too much there.

But my love of this hobby trumps The Container Store. Every time.

You are soooooooooo gay. ;) I freaking love that place! Had I known you were into this kind of stuff, I would have showed you my pantry. It would have got you all kinds of hot and bothered. :):)

OMG! We need to get married!

I have an Office Depot fixation, but no place to keep my mechanical pencils, letter openers and multihued highlighter sets.

Seriously - it's like sex... a little foreplay in the 'essentials' section, toying with the pens, pencils, pads, staplers, staple removers, etc. Then pick up some speed in the furniture section and a kinky spin in an executive, leather high-back chair before a sprint down the electronics with saliva slung across 15" laptop screens until the money-shot at the 'Clearance' table, with trembling fingers roaming across the hard nubs of 80%-off pencil erasers and pushing deep into bins of gem clips and AAA-batteries.

Let's mesh fetishes and pick out our china!

I have to review my gay card rules. I managed to walk through one and not buy a thing. Same with IKEA. Good god, am I straight and not know it? ;)

I'd love the Container Store even if it weren't a Texas Chain. Being a Texas Chain (originally) makes me love it even in more!! In the 1980's and early 90's I used to go to the big one in Houston on Westheimer just west of 610. It was catty-corner from the Galleria. In Dallas I used to go to the one across the street from Highland Mall. That shopping center with the Container Store also has a Cheesecake Factory and Barnes &Noble. It's a great shopping center!!

I notice the two nearest you in San Jose @Mikegaite are in Walnut Creek and San Francisco.

When I walk into my local Container Store two of the ladies always give me a big hug and the general manager will wave at me, even if she is on the other end of the store. I have Elfa in every room in my condo, three of their filing cabinets, and several plastic boxes, paper boxes, and on and on.

I actually use the stuff stored in their containers. It does help that I label everything and buy the clear containers so I can see into them.

I forgot to mention that you have just become even more irresistible.

I have picked up a few things for my apt at the Container Store here and there. You really can find just what you need. I have a friend who occasionally plays with an escort that is insatiable for cum. He found a plastic container there that is smaller than the palm of your hand that is perfect for the jerk, freeze, save scene. The container holds about 15 loads before it is topped off. The escort is a mighty happy boy when he leaves my friend's place.

Do they have Dildo-Keepers? I like to lock in the clean freshly disinfected smell . . .

The only thing I ever buy at IKEA is the MEATBALLS......

If I'm not careful, I could drain out my 401(k) at the Container Store.

GREAT store although a bit expensive if you don't "contain" your spending.

Great store, I've used them to help re-do my two walk in pantries. Yes they are more expensive than going to Lowe's and doing it yourself. My local store has great staff, who work with you with computer design and fitting up the spaces. They do try and oversell add-ons that you don't need, but all you have to do is say no. Locally also they accept returns for various items that you decide you don't need or want. They have made my life so much easier to keep my home neat and tidy
