I believe the only person I have ever actually met for real from our online community is Brian Kevin (and I would highly recommend meeting him if you have the inkling to do so, lol)

I have never met him but he is SOOO much the perfect guy in here, I will go out on a limb and say meet him. One day I will be in the same time zone as he is!!

Out of deference and respect to Guy Fawkes', Daddy's, and various other parties privacy, if they wanted to have given a more detailed public and official report they would have, and I'm willing to respect their wishes and try to get on with my life and participation without them having to say.

I'm sorry if I worded poorly my message. I'm not asking for gossipy or private, personal details. I'm not demanding anything like an unhappy or un satisfied customer. This is a free forum and I freely participate because I like it and I like the people here.

My friendly asking for clearer information has to do with a change in the name of the forum. Is the nature of this space about to change? Daddy has taken breaks before, but he was still reachable and the website icons and titles would remain unchanged. I don't want personal details (If Daddy has decided to move on, I will miss him and I wish him the best), I just want to know if we should expect changes that may affect our participation.

Issues come, and issues go on this forum. I try not to involve myself in the flame wars or drama that sometimes pervade the forum. I readily admit that I am curious about certain things that occur and the behavior of certain individuals. There are some posters here that I adore.. and some posters I could do without. I am entertained and informed here and for those reasons, I'm not likely to go away. I suspect or "know" that there a lot of things that go on here "behind the scenes", there are some people here that take this forum MUCH more seriously than I do. The bottom line for me is if an issue doesn't effect me personally, then I don't need to know what is going on. I am better off not knowing. As far as I know, I was never promised that I would be informed of any aspect of a situation that occurs, and I learned early on that this is not a democracy. Daddy or Guy Fawkes has provided me with a valuable service here and I am grateful for it. When Guy Fawkes does something on the forum, I am NOT entitled to know why or any of the dirt in the background... thanks to Guy. I know some people get off on the drama.. but for me, not so much. It prevents additional wrinkles on my otherwise gorgeous forehead.

I personally just find it too sad. The "he said, he said" disagreements always seem to cause "you and me against the world" rifts, one side against the other, eventually demonizing both of the original "protagonists" depending on each poster's opinion. Private interpersonal bitch fights should stay private and publicly denouncing ANY individual who happens to be a member here, thus dividing opinions into two camps, can never be a good thing.

I know the majority here are NOT middle school tween girls with a clique mentality so please, let us all just move forward and try to behave as thinking adults.

As an point of information, especially to @Guy Fawkes I wasn't trying to cause or maintain any controversy in this thread. As I told @BabyBoomer in a previous post, I don't read all the threads. So I thought I might have missed an important thread or announcement by the management here. And if not that, I wondered whether the change had taken place sometime back, and I was just now noticing.

The fact that the main troublemaker has been absent from this thread encourages me to think that Guy Fawkes has permanently banished him. From unsolicited "vote for me!"s and many other minor irritants I would love to come onto the site and never have to read another of his posts.

And I do hope that Daddy Guy Fawkes has a very peaceful and restorative break from all the recent nonsense. I am not an active poster, but this site and this forum have allowed me to learn and grow in so many ways. It has helped me explore the previously unknown (to me) world of escorts and clients, and in doing so has allowed me to meet one of the most amazing men in the business.

I've been on this board for quite a while. I've seen drama big enough and lots of knives out with blood on them that the board had to be shut down for a few days to give eveyone a cooling off time. The removal of the recent threads was a good move by team daddy. As they say, out of sight and out of mind.

Hugs,

Greg

Well! I guess I am the only one here who had to Google what an "Oxford comma" is! Well I discovered that it's simply a more pretentious name for a "serial comma", is also known as the "Harvard comma" and is something that I always have endeavored to use. Well most of the time that is!

Wow, I thought DYNASTY had gone off the air years ago, but apparently it is alive and well and living HERE ? And it seems that Alexis and Crystal are still working their dysfunctional magic... It was enough to make me post THIS, after not being on this site for over 2 years.

However, I still tend to disagree with Seaboys comment, and don't think its better to delete controversial threads and sweep issues under the carpet rather than discuss them. For me, that has always been one of this sites many shortcomings, and while many people were Thrilled to see me leave, I was more than thrilled to do so.... But this recent turn of events was so juicy I just had to raise a glass. Apparently, I wasn't the sole cause of this sites disruption, feuding and downfall, as was previously reported. Looks like even after 2+ years, theres still plenty of that going on, WITHOUT me...

You weren't the only one...never heard of Oxford comma. I assumed when I used it, it was just some damn, old comma. hahaha. We learn something on here everyday.

Same here, and especially since I was taught always to use it.

In any event, I feel better now knowing that I am in good company!

Now look at jjkrkwood's post above.........'disruption, feuding and downfall.' No Oxford comma after 'feuding'. So are we saying both....with and without a comma after 'feuding' are correct? My intellectual abilities are being strained....and by what????.....a comma!!!!!!

I certainly didn't mean to make anybody feel bad or strut my academic stuff (English and History being my worst subjects in school); it was a lame attempt to be funny (in an effort to defuse a tense topic) referencing a couple of threads inspired by a posting that Kevin Slater made in the friday funnies:

Hey to our resident hoboy... Or should I say hoboyist! (That's a joke by the way. Look up hoboy. It's not what you think!) If it was your intent to lighten things up it certainly worked. Plus, I learned something as well. That's what is so great about this place!

One of the things that causes blowups such as those afflicting the MF and Daddy, Guy Fawkes, et al. lately is an inability to let things one considers unfair go by. It is not necessary to respond to every post or argument. Some people are not worth arguing with, or even if they are, more arguing is not going to win any points or is not worth the time and psychic effort. Sometimes it's better to let the other person hang themselves by letting them have the last word. It's also better for one's mental health not to dwell on the negative, which is why, even though I'm aware of the existence of some of - maybe all of - the precipitating threads, I didn't read very much of them.

Also, whatever problems there are are bigger than one person, even though some people seem to have elected someone as the culprit whose absence will make everything better. (Full disclosure: he and I are friends.) This isn't to defend him unthinkingly. He's contributed to this mess, although in fairness some of the things people criticize him for have been done by others (not without criticism, either) and some of the things people have praised other escorts for, by name, he has done (and been noted for in a review) without to my recollection receiving any notice on the forum whatsoever. (And yes, it was something above and beyond that would not typically be done just to make him look good.)

Without naming names or getting into specifics, one of the precipitating factors for this mess made me angry and think seriously about whether making non-refundable arrangements to travel to Palm Springs was a good idea. I stand by my original decision, but I too am disappointed in some people.

The forum is what the participants make of it. While I agree with jjkirkwood that more transparency about what behavior is unacceptable and what isn't and why certain steps are being taken would be welcome, it's not our prerogative to make that call because it's not our site. However, I disagree that inflammatory threads should stay up. Sometimes threads need to be removed. Sometimes threads need to be locked.

For those of you who may dismiss this as self-serving: In the end, I'm for no one and everyone. I'm for this site staying active and moderated and for being as welcoming as it can be, within reason, and despite some disagreements over policy, I am glad this site exists and has been (as a site, not every post) welcoming to me.

Not Adam Smith, but I've seen enough Twitter talk on this to say both have their advocates and both are considered correct, as is the hybrid position of using serial commas when necessary for clarity's sake and not using them when not necessary.

IMHO its the feuds that get people to participate. you will often find a name you have never seen before appear with an opinion when a feud erupts. It makes the site interesting, and yes a bit volatile. Sorta like attempting a Trump rally.... Otherwise, much of the time, watching paint dry can be more entertaining than this site. If you notice, all of the people that say they "don't like the drama and the feuding" are smack in the middle of it with THAT comment alone. If they really didn't like the drama, they would simply ignore the thread and not contribute ANYTHING to it. But I suppose its their way of having their say and NOT having any fingers pointed at them. Fear of reprisal here from members certainly takes its toll on participation. And if you are going to participate, name names and events, and don't just cast aspersions or allude to the facts.

Facts are facts, and surely are relevant to an open, honest dialog. Making a comment like "I don't want to name names" is certainly more inflammatory than naming the damn name. If you want to be Switzerland, stay across the continenent. If you want to participate, do so in a way that is evident, decipherable and honest.
