Doug, if you hadn't called it gold (because, to my eye, it's green), I'd think you meant the little triangle at the upper left of the avatar image square that appears when a poster is online. (In fact, if you drag your cursor over it, it will say "Online Now.")

I'm hovering my mouse over my upper left & right hand corner, my middle, my bottom corners...No gold action

Go to Preferences, and under Options there's a choice whether to show online status or not.

Thanks for the info. I understand now. And, yes, I see gold - you see green. It shows that I'm color blind which I already knew. LOL

One of the things people who study user interfaces have found is that 70% (roughly) of American men have some level of colorblindness. Do not assume your partner is merely uninterested when he can't tell the difference between taupe and mauve. He actually might not see a difference!

I think I remember reading that Captain Kirk's uniform shirt was green, but with the material they used, it showed up as gold when filmed. The wraparound shirt he wore in a few episodes is green.
